Hello house, We submitted tender for a contract in UBEB since December last year, paid for the tender fees and submitted every required documents .... They did the technical bid opening in January this year.
They were supposed to do the financial bid opening the same month but they sent us text message that they will do the financial bid opening on a later date that they will communicate to us.

It has been months now without any communication from the Board.
I don't know what to do next cos they have not awarded the contracts to any company to the best of my knowledge.

Bros, its still the same thing, wont the agree too collect his commission? Its all about been calculative, you want to pay an agent $1000 and she asks you to pay 3% paypal fees and your agent too asks you to pay $50 for commission fee, wont that be the same? I believe what works for you may not work for me, but if you are been diligient enough you will reliase it amounts to same thing, yes I quite agree that paying in Naira is quite cheaper and when you are paying the seller in RMB (Chinese currency) but you just have to take it as it comes.

Buhari is not the head of Abuja electricity distribution company. You guys can call on them to fix the fault. On the FG's part, TCN has confessed that it has "excess power" in the national grid to push out.

Buhari is the head of Nigeria if anything goes wrong in Nigeria he would be held responsible including power supply.

I don't know about Apo but in Durumi axis, area 3 (the commerce Plaza area, Living faith Church, Catholic secretariat Nigeria (CSN) up to suncity have been without power supply.

Is Buhari the President of only Apo or President of Nigeria.

There are over 20 different 11kva/33kva lines that feeds different areas in Abuja.

Blown transformer/RMU,
Vandalized power cables/poles,
Your area Business Manager is playing ludo with your power supply rations

Oga, I am not a novice in matters of power supply, all the things you listed above is not the cause but just that the staff there now are not doing their job, nobody is patrolling the feeders.

For the first time in 8 years where I live in Abuja has been without power supply for 5 days and counting ........ if people in Abuja(The Capital City) can go 6 days without electricity what happens to people in rural areas?

Hello house, I've discovered that aside from shipping; paying for goods in China if you in Nigeria is another challenge.
Many suppliers will give you minimal discount when you are paying through a third party like aliexpress.

The only payment option available will be to pay through an agent.
It's cheaper to pay through an agent because you pay the naira equivalent to their Nigeria bank account here while they pay on your behalf over there. The problems with this type of payment is that agents can determine the exchange rate and trust issues.

This is not for small importers, it's cheaper to pay through aliexpress using a credit or debit card when you are buying small amount of goods.
