mikeayus:Hi Mike, I applied on Friday and got admitted to the MBA yesterday (about 72 hrs). Now I’m looking for a GA offer, would appreciate any info to this regard. The program director told me 1st round of GA offers was done on 15 March, but 2nd is on May 1st and the odds are low. |
mikeayus:I’m also applying here, but they require WES evaluation. |
Northeastern:Do you know if they offer GMAT waiver? |
Emeritusseun:Thanks for this response sir. I don’t know how this nairaland mail works, this is my mail( ismail.shuaibb@gmail.com). Pls be kind to say hi, I really need this info. |
Hello everyone, Lots of respect for the guys commenting and helping people out here. My issue is I got into undergraduate via direct entry, IJMB from Ahmadu Bello Uni be precise. I’m currently applying to a school in texas and I added both my IJMB and undergraduate study, while also uploading IJMB certificate and unofficial undergraduate transcript. School requires all official transcripts from post secondary institutions be sent electronically or post mail. Now I don’t have any information whether ABU sends IJMB certificates abroad or not. I will really appreciate any info on this. I did my IJMB in poly Ibadan in 2014. Thanks for the anticipated response. |
Hi Everyone, Please does anyone have an idea of how to send IJMB certificate from ABU Zaria. Is there a provision for this or I will have to send my certificate to WES myself. Thanks for the anticipated response. |
sheke01:I understand, thanks for the heads up. |

Please install Really Simple SSL plugin, it will show you a prompt to click. After clicking, logout and login again, your traffic should be routed via https. Obagoblog: |
Is it a wordpress site or what kind of server environment was it installed on? Obagoblog: |
Sir, this is how it works. If you require a digitally signed certificate, you generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) from your web server, which comes with your server's private key. All modern web browsers have Root Certificates of major Certificate Authorities. After providing the CSR, your choice Certificate Authority provides an SSL, which contains a Digitally Signed certificate for your server, a root certificate and an Intermediate certificate, all these form a chain of certificates. However, If after installing an SSL on your server (lets assume a rogue one), the web browser connecting to the server cannot recognize your root certificate or cannot match it with the one it has, then you get a warning. But if it's from a trusted CA you don't. So what is existing in browsers isn't the actual certificate, but a root certificate of recognized CAs. chukzyfcbb: |
You were right about the Diginotar incident, but SSL are not installed by users or visitor, that's the site owner's responsibility. Businesses should understand that they need not wait for browsers to give users warning before protecting their web assets. SSL is the internet equivalence of a driver's license. Truth is a site as big as Nairaland needs a Certum EV SSL. chukzyfcbb: |
You can ask me any question on SSL and its different types. |
Certum Extended Validation SSL (green bar) now available to all Nigerian (and West African) organisations The fight against cybercrime in Nigeria has achieved a major milestone with the local availability of Certum Extended Validation SSL/TLS Certificates. Certum is the first security Certification authority with a direct presence in Nigeria. It is owned by the prestigious Asseco Group, the 6th largest software company in Europe. Certum provides a wide array of cryptographic security products from SSL/TLS to S-MIME and Code Signing certificates through the Asseco Software Nigeria Office in Ikoyi Lagos. Cybercrime has progressed from websites being hacked and users’ data being stolen to sophisticated criminality targeting companies (particularly financial institutions), ecommerce sites, Government agencies and others. Everyone is vulnerable today and it is only a matter of time before one falls prey to these undesirable elements – hence the importance of SSL security on external site. What are the requirements to get a Certum EV? Th requirements for an EV are typically: 1. Proof of legal existence of the organisation: a copy of the company registration (CAC in Nigeria) certificate. 2. An applicant to stand in as the person requesting the certificate on the organisation’s behalf. It could be a member of staff, attorney or director. This person must provide government issued-ID, specifically a driver’s license (front and rear) or international passport. 3. A very simple authorization or introduction letter for this applicant, which should name the applicant, state how he is associated with the organisation and that he or she is authorized to acquire SSL on behalf of the organisation. This letter must be in the organisation’s letter head and be signed by someone in the organisation who can give power of attorney – middle or senior management. How long does it take? Typically, issuance of an Extended Validation Certificate takes between 1-5 working days. If you can provide all the requirements at once at the start of a business day, the certificate may be issued same day, 24 hours at the most. Where / how can I get Certum EV SSL? We have partnered with a handful of reliable hosting and IT companies from whom you can order any of our products; Whogohost https://www.whogohost.com/security/ssl.php, Inlaks Ltd, ATB TechSoft Ltd and GCET Ltd.

Very sensitive topic I must say. But the truth is smart people know that "Wealth is in the mind". |
yeyerolling:You've said it all, music artists just walk out on contracts like its their bedroom( and to think he signed 7 years). In this age, your label must be willing to let you go (you don't just wake up one morning and dump them). With that injunction, December shows don go, who knows when the case go end. I just trust his legal team would seek out of court settlement with the label. |
HushTee:Thanks for awakening our consciousness to this nice topic. |
I think I ll say when you have a clear and coincise career objective, and this could be anytime after your 1st degree. For me you need to have a clear idea of your career path for the nearest future, to go for a 2nd degree, in as much as funds is secured. Hence the most important question is, what do you want to achieve with it, and how feasible, these should be based on facts and not assumptions (as in the case of many unemployed, thinking it would better chances of getting a job). Finally a stable income source is very important. |
