Hi Mike, I applied on Friday and got admitted to the MBA yesterday (about 72 hrs). Now I’m looking for a GA offer, would appreciate any info to this regard. The program director told me 1st round of GA offers was done on 15 March, but 2nd is on May 1st and the odds are low.

My issue is I got into undergraduate via direct entry, IJMB from Ahmadu Bello Uni be precise. I’m currently applying to a school in texas and I added both my IJMB and undergraduate study, while also uploading IJMB certificate and unofficial undergraduate transcript.

School requires all official transcripts from post secondary institutions be sent electronically or post mail. Now I don’t have any information whether ABU sends IJMB certificates abroad or not. I will really appreciate any info on this. I did my IJMB in poly Ibadan in 2014.

I can't really suggest schools because I don't know your pocket. Am the wrong person to suggest schools that will give funding for MS Information systems because me myself is still looking for the funding even after 3 semesters here...lol

MS data science is expensive and usually not funded. MS business analytics is quite expensive and it being done in business school as packaged deal with MBA makes funding slim.

As you have a computer science degree, look for MS in computer science or computer Information Systems. This will increase your chances of funding then you can do business analytics option. You can always learn analytics online or in boot camps.

Sir, this is how it works.

If you require a digitally signed certificate, you generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) from your web server, which comes with your server's private key.

All modern web browsers have Root Certificates of major Certificate Authorities.

After providing the CSR, your choice Certificate Authority provides an SSL, which contains a Digitally Signed certificate for your server, a root certificate and an Intermediate certificate, all these form a chain of certificates.

However, If after installing an SSL on your server (lets assume a rogue one), the web browser connecting to the server cannot recognize your root certificate or cannot match it with the one it has, then you get a warning. But if it's from a trusted CA you don't.

So what is existing in browsers isn't the actual certificate, but a root certificate of recognized CAs.

That happens when the digitally signed certificate isn't recognised by the web browser , so the server presents its own certificate.

You were right about the Diginotar incident, but SSL are not installed by users or visitor, that's the site owner's responsibility.

Businesses should understand that they need not wait for browsers to give users warning before protecting their web assets.

SSL is the internet equivalence of a driver's license. Truth is a site as big as Nairaland needs a Certum EV SSL.

I do know that one certificate authority (diginotar) had its database compromised by hackers, the hackers presented SSL certificates of sites to users posing as if it were legitimate from the C.A themselves.

The hack operation left the C.A bankrupt

SSl is good, but when we as users get notification saying a site isn't trusted, that we should install the certificate, that's when we need to apply caution.

So we don't give our trust to a hacker, rendering our encryption useless

You've said it all, music artists just walk out on contracts like its their bedroom( and to think he signed 7 years). In this age, your label must be willing to let you go (you don't just wake up one morning and dump them). With that injunction, December shows don go, who knows when the case go end. I just trust his legal team would seek out of court settlement with the label.

I think I ll say when you have a clear and coincise career objective, and this could be anytime after your 1st degree.

For me you need to have a clear idea of your career path for the nearest future, to go for a 2nd degree, in as much as funds is secured.

Hence the most important question is, what do you want to achieve with it, and how feasible, these should be based on facts and not assumptions (as in the case of many unemployed, thinking it would better chances of getting a job).

Finally a stable income source is very important.
