Seirerjour: I will quote you wrong here, tell us when was the recruitment portal opened as you u said because for me I can't remember when last FIRS did open recruitment.
Moreover if indeed u are working with FIRS why are you following this thread? Lol. Tell me one reason why I should answer your question. You are just another stranger like I am on the internet. If you choose not to believe me, that is fine by me. |

Edonnaa: You are excited for a 70 slots open for more than probably 50,000 successful applicants so far?
My brother, go to NCDMB thread and see what was done to us... Mind you almost 1k people was recruited in that one ooo, not to talk of this one that won't even be up to 100 people...
What I will suggest for you now is to be finding strong connections that would give you an edge, cause as for me that's what I intend doing Everything isn't connection bro. I applied and got a Manager role at FIRS a few months ago without knowing a single person. In fact, most of us got in without knowing anyone. Why not allow people pursue their goal with the believe that meritocracy will take them through. At least if people don't have connection, they should have hope. |

Bryee: Kindly stop spreading falsehoods.
Pending next step can mean you passed or failed. If you passed you get a new email and instructions on what is next. If you failed you may never hear back or you will get a mail of rejection telling you, you are not progressing to next stage.
You people say you are graduates but the kind of posts I am reading here makes me doubt it. What kind of school did some of you go to or graduate from? Post your school certificate, let me post mine. Then the viewers would judge who attended the better school. Abi. |

Sincerely speaking, my personally opinion, I think people who are still asking about using their phones at this point for the test are likely unserious about the job. How difficult can it be to find a computer for 1 hour to write the test since you got the test invite? |

Most of the NERC positions applied to are for experience hire, ideally we should be expecting to be tested on technical questions relating to the role, with a sprinkle of general questions here and there. This is Nigeria sha where all nonsense goes, I won't be surprised if the test is majorly GMAT and current affairs. |

Opposition party would use Muslims to somehow twist the entire narrative, claiming the law leans toward Christianity belief and it is an infringement on their rights. We are always divided across tribal & religious lines in this damned country.
Moreso, what metric and timeline would you use in determining who is poor and when they are poor? |

Well what they dnt realise b say dat money collected na "curse" & dey cant rise& be blessed since God himself no sell im blessings! I would like to know where this myth that Southern leaders sell their job slots to Northerners come from, and why this myth seems so well parroted on this thread. Never heard it anywhere else. |

Southerners here on this forum accusing their leaders of not helping unlike the northerners would also get to the top one day and do the same thing they complain of now. Na today? Then they would eventually understand the dynamics to federal govt jobs isn't what they used to think it is. |

ShadowM: I still see no point here. NFIU is pushing for approval from CBN Governor to make the salary of their Entry Level N20m per annum. Plus Salary and allowances. They have over 800 staff.
The fact that you think CBN is a very high paying organisation is a clear testament that you have no idea what is going on. Let me tell you a few that pay higher than CBN.
NDIC NIMASA NPA NFIU AMCON NDDC (commission) NCC PEF PTDF DPR PPPRA NCMDB NERC NIA ( you can be getting two salaries when working in NIA. You could be posted eg to First bank. You will be a staff of First bank undercover. First bank pays you for working as a Staff. NIA pays you your salary for working undercover. You could earn way above 1m like that. And they have a staffs in all MDAs in the country)
Note the last four have been merged. Because you cannot wrap your head around it doesn't make it let true. I could go on Where did I mention CBN? |

2el: How true is it that EFCC pays 450k for entry level (level 08) now.
That the increment in salary was part of the reasons for underground recruitment. Even Tech companies and Oil companies don't pay 450k for an entry level position, why would a govt org do so? Lol |
