Hello everyone, I'm looking for some1 to teach me how to make coconut cookies such as shuku-shuku and gurundi. Also, local toffees such babu dudu and sisi pelebe. I need practical training. I stay in lagos |
It probably has a short shelf life. I wish I could recommend some sort of preservative |
Thank you but nevermind. I will get some1 in lagos |
Are u based in lagos? I'm looking for some1 that give me 1 on 1 training on some specific snacks |

Honey? |
Witch hazel can't lighten-up "DARK" spots. It can certainly clear and treat the pimples. I've seen the "skin doctors" brand but I don't buy skin products that has no review online. You won't see anything on that brand on any forum. izzieE: |
Op..pls help move to front page |
I misread the post. Witch hazel won't clear your spots. It's only going to treat your acne. Use fair and white cream to lighten-up your skin or better still, try Silka papaya soap. I've not used it before but I think it's good. Honey won't do anything for you shupy: |
I battled pimples for years. I bought a lot of expensive products and read a lot of reviews. I even went as far as changing my diet. I know how it feels to have acne. The only product that has worked for me is a witch hazel cleanser. Don't buy the cosmetic brand. Get the pharmaceutical ones. I use T.N dickinson's witch hazel. It's not up to 2500 and it's very big in size. I know you've gotten a lot of recommendations but pls give it a try. Witch hazel won't dry your skin. Good luck and keep everyone posted. |

Don't rush yourself at all. When I graduated I also wondered what was going to be my next step. Some of my friends were already going for internship and some were already even working, but I believed I was eventually going to figure something out. It took time (months), but I eventually did. I can't make recommendations for you but make sure that whatever skill or trade you choose to learn or do, makes you optimistic about your future. Don't rush into anything you don't see yourself doing in the long-run. |
It's sad to know your guardian is against the skill you're interested in learning. Barbing is not bad at all. I'm also awaiting NYSC. I've decided to go for confectionery training. I'm not going for the training so as to keep myself busy at the moment. I'm going because I see potential in it. learn something you feel you can be doing even after service. Don't just go dive into anything because you want to keep yourself busy. |
If there's going to be about 50% increase in your salary take the new job but you should also take factors that are important to you into consideration. You won't be working 2 weeks in a month. Give the man your c.v and see what he has to offer. 2 weeks for 80k is better than 4 weeks for 100k |
It's just a waste of time. I'm not looking forward to it |
I don't understand why we're like that. Even vocational workers have no integrity. Nigeria is going to remain the way it's for a very long time |
Thanks for your help. I have contacted some1 |
I'm aware it's commonly fried, but I've eaten a baked chin-chin before |
It can be baked |
Helllo everyone, pls I need your advice and recommendation on where I can learn how to make chin-chin, shuku-shuku and gurundi. I'm a male and i have never baked before, so giving me a recipe won't be of help. My only interest in baking is to learn how to make those 3 crunchy snacks. Thank you for your time. |
