tyscott99: Thanks for your response. I also admit I never mentioned Fund in my SOP or explain the expense at all. I felt my statement of Account with 50% fee paid would cover all, but I was so wrong. I realized later.
Addressing them already even before GSMC note but I sure know that’s where the problem is. I’ve gathered the receipts of tools, Rental Agreement, Pictures of the tools (12m worth).
I am planning on paying the full Tuition fee and having up to 8m naira in my account. WILL THAT BE ENOUGH ? The fund is very sufficient. You were clearly refused because you didn't package yourself well. |

tyscott99: Hello Guys,
I need to clarify something urgently. I was rejected on the status below; I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
First timer and I've learnt my lesson. I paid 50% 1 year program fee and had 10m in my account but I think my mistake was Printing my statement immediately I attained 10m and not there for 4 months straight. Anyway, I've requested for GSMC note.
My concern now is, I have working tools I bought with money and leased out to some vendor. I have the receipt and Signed Rental Agreement which I want to bring up with my new application. WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING IT UP ? Just my receipt and the Rental Agreement or I need anything legal to attach ?
The equipment was bought in my name... Kindly advice... There's no such rule that states funds must be in your account for a certain period of time. That's entirely different from a lump sum. You seem to be somewhat established. I think you failed to capitalise on that. Wait for your GCMS sha. Whatever the case regarding tool. You still need to show substantial amount. 13k cad and the remaining balance of your tuition fee. Include receipt, rental agreement, picture, and in your sop, make reference to the date you paid for the tool. Avoid lump sum deposit. |

millie0: Please can a sponsor be anybody else other than a family member?
Can a family friend be a sponsor?
Also, I have not submitted my application yet, but I have done my medical examination. How can I submit that via webform?
Is it also cumpolsory to provide business certificates for proof of funds? What if I am unable to procure the business documents, can I also submit valuation documents and financial account documents?
Thanks. I have provided suggestions for using 3rd party sponsorship severally. This is the last time. Third party sponsorship is always a red flag. The farther the relationship is, the bigger the flag. In order to stand a chance, certain arrangements must be in place. 1. Payment/Provision of tuition fee from the sponsor's account. The transaction date must be pointed out in the sponsorship letter or better still, your SOP. 2. Living expenses must be provided to you to show sponsor is truly commited. 3. Sufficient balance in sponsor's account even after the 2 steps are taken. 4. A compassionate sponsorship letter and an affidavit goes a long way. To your other questions 1. If upfront medical is done ahead of application, a section will be provided for the submission of the sheet provided at the medical center. 2. It is important you submit business ownership document. |

Blavkmaann: Let me answer the way I answer them
Immigration- why are you crying? Yeye me- I MISS MY DADDY AND MUMMY
SEE LAUGH…. I’ve never felt humiliated in my life, big man like me with full beards crying for mummy and daddy… chai
They laughed, handed me my passport and told me I’ll be fine, they then directed me to the correct gate, apparently the were already boarding…
As I got to Istanbul immigration… QUESTION STARTED The question should have been why are you always crying. You were not allowed to board the last time and you cried. You departed the country, you cried on board You landed in Istanbul and yet you cried again. On the day of your Canadian citizenship ceremony, I'm sure you'll cry All the best to you. |

emmalextemtop: So, it means if one get the request, no need for upload? Or will still upload but not through webform but the portal? You know what, I'm not sure. Medical request doesn't necessarily imply request for additional document so I don't think the application upload portal will be opened. |

emmalextemtop: Hello!
Must one upload the medical form if he didn't get notified by IRCC to go for it? Or if notified by IRCC, must it still be uploaded via webform or not for such case? Upfront medicals during the processing of application must be uploaded via webform. However if one gets a medical request, application upload portal will be opened. |

Olayinkaji: Yes I did. Age: 27. Reasons for refusal was lack of progress of educational work. I used an agent then and I believe I totally made a shamble of the last application. The agent suggested I applied for post-secondary institution degree at NBCC. If that's the sole reason for refusal, you should reapply with a course showing progression. It's not advisable to go study in the UK when your primary target is Canadian PR. |

dayjeee: ok I have the options of using my current employer or claiming that I work for my dad's company. The reason for this is to claim strong home ties that after my studies I will come back and take a kind of higher position. Note: my current employer will not be able to give me this kind of letter. They can only give a letter of introduction. 2. My dad's account is not buoyant, so i am sourcing for fund to fund his account and he will transfer the money to my acct (an amount that will cover my first year tuition and living expenses) and he execute a gift deed. But the lump sum that will come into his account will be issue if i need to print out his statement. Also he doesnt have tax clearance on his business. 3. If I am using my dad's company as my employer, i dont have salary acct to show that I earn salary in that company, will the VO be convinced that I am paid in cash for 3 years? I have someone that went through this route, he only did the gift deed, he didn't submit his dad statement and tax clearance nor salary account that he earns salary in his dad's company and yet his visa has been approved. But like the saying, each application is unique that is why I have decided to get clarification before embarking on this route. Look forward to your imputs and others imput also. Thank you 1. You're taking a big risk claiming to work in father's company. Especially a company, that's not even active. 2. Like I said earlier, your sponsor's level of establishment goes a long way in application decision. Your arrangement can work in some circumstance but yours is a very dicey one. 3. See ehn, I also claimed to be the manager of my sister's bakery but I submitted the bakery's account and I made part payment of my tuition fee from the account. You are just making claims without any provision for proofs. You'll need a miracle to get approval. Miracles do happen tho, I just wouldn't rely on it. |

dollymon: Gurus in the house, please help me
I'm about to apply for my Visa, I work for my brother's company ( he owns it) and he plans to sponsor me for a PGD course related to my job role, so I can come back to add more value to the company. The company's SOA carrys more weight than his personal account, so we plan on using the companys account and also pay my school fees through it.
My questions and concerns are:
1. Should the company sponsor me as a third party sponsor since we plan on using the company's account and not my brothers personal account.
2. Will it be better that my brother states that hes the one sponsoring me, but through his company since I also work there, and then use the company's SOA (I just felt this might raise some eyebrows for the VO officer cos a business is a separate entity from a person. If he states that hes the one sponsoring me, then he should use his own account and not that of the company).
3. If we are using the company as a 3rd party sponsor, is the company meant to transfer the standard 10000 cad and 2nd semester fees to my account ( to show commitment as a third party) and also have a balance of 30000cad for the Nse route?
Gurus please help, your responses will be highly appreciated. Thank you. 1. Nothing wrong in disclosing that your brother is sponsoring you. Submit both his personal and company's account. 3. If you've paid for first semester, the living expenses (10kcad) can be sent to your account to prove genuine access to fund. The remaining balance must be substantial. About 7m or above. Just a rough estimate o. |

Jioke1994: Tnx ooo I screenshot every of your reply. They are worth it. How long does it take for a police report certificate to expire? Should I state in my SOP that i'll also come back to take care of my mum's business, although it's not related to my program of study? About my personal acct. statement, how many weeks or months acct. statement should I print? Although I'm thinking of 2 wks coz I don't really have much in it. Does my uncle (my sponsor) need to bring his marriage certificate, family pictures, birth cert.? *I didn't do the police clearance *Since the business is not in anyway related to your course, you don't need to mention you will be returning to take care of it *3-1 month *All that you've listed for your uncle is not essential. He is not the applicant. If you have pictures of you two together, you should include it. |

Cash payments is usually my preferred method of transacting but I adopted bank transfers at the insistence of my son.. Include a picture of her establishment or store in your application. |

Jioke1994: Noted with thanks! I so much value your tireless contributions in my app journey. Pls, how do I explain and prove this type of lump sum? As u don't know, we used to pay our distributors cash, I mean physical cash, whenever goods are delivered to us. And you know, such payment doesn't reflect in one's account. But, now, we've decided to be making payments via bank services so as to have the reflection in mum's account statement. The idea is to build her account. How do I prove such lump sum? Are you making payments or depositing?. You only made mention of paying others here |

I only stated "I come from a close knit family and all members reside in Nigeria". I focussed more on establishments that were already in place and most importantly the career outlook of whatever program you're going for must be connected to Nigeria. In my SOP, one will actually think I will be better off returning to Nigeria than staying in Canada after my studies. Your future prospect in Nigeria must be promising. |
