qudusbalogun89:I'm sorry about your brother's refusal. A choice of program that's not in-line with previous qualification or job role is a red flag. A certificate from a training center won't be given much consideration, but since he is working with a telecommunication giant, a better job could have been done in his SOP addressing the reason for his choice of program. In regards finance, when the fund is in a business account, one must ensure to get a bank reference letter stating the signatories to the account. Demonstrating genuine access to the fund goes a long way i.e initiate the payment of tuition from the business account or have fund sent to the applicant's account. Could be for tuition or living expenses. The date of the transaction must be pointed out either in the SOP or letter of sponsorship. He should ensure to submit his salary account. I must also add that scanned copies of a bank statement is not acceptable. At the very least, a bank statement (soft copy) generated with a bank app will suffice, provided that the account or bank is unable to generate MyBankStatement certificate. |

jogojogo:I think you'll be required to show your 14 days quarantine plan. Which essentially implies proof of accommodation were isolation is possible. You might be exempted from quarantine but the plan must be in place. Here is what some from a WhatsApp group said to me "Get somewhere you'll stay at least for 2 to 3 weeks. When you get here you aggressively look for a place. Check kijiji.ca almost everything you want to find here is like kijiji.ca". NB: You might consider Airbnb instead of an hotel for the first 2-3 weeks. 1 Like 1 Share |

It's now pointless to reach out to an MP with the way they're bombarded for intervention request by study permit applicants. 2 Likes |

Enjay316:@millie0 in addition to what he has stated. Avoid lump sum. The payment of your tuition fee can be processed using any account even that of your friend. It's the receipt that's important in that regard. And yes, you should submit MyBankStatement certificate along with your application. That's the preferred proof. |

millie0:He won't be considered a genuine sponsor. What your friend can do to boost your application is to pay your tuition fee. When you provide a receipt, the amount paid will be put into consideration with the available fund in your parents account. You can refund your friend after application is submitted. |

Olaapaps:I'm sorry man. @bolded and on the contrary, it takes some level of courage to let everyone know your application was denied. Application refusal is actually more common than approval. Like I stated sometime ago, nairaland doesn't show the true reality. It is easy to let everyone know you got PPR. I can't say the same for application refusal. You obviously already know you need to order your GCMS note. I'm guessing concerns were raised regarding 3rd party sponsor. Sufficient balance is not the only factor looked at. Demonstrating genuine access to it is also important. Your uncle needs to show some level of commitment by paying your tuition fee even if it is first semester, and/or transfer fund for living expenses to you. You can also consider GIC arrangement (I personally prefer having the fund in a dormiciliary USD account, it just seems more convincing than having it in a naira account). And yes, if you're a salary earner, submit the account even if the balance is low. Print when you're paid sha. Wishing you all the best. NB: (Even if all this is done, you still need to submit your uncle's statement of account) 4 Likes |

Enjay316:Not necessarily you. Whoever fills the form A must be an account holder. They can submit everything on your behalf. What payment option is available for your school? Is it flywire or CIBC?. They all have international bank transfer which enables you to download the invoice to take to the bank. |
