Bertram87: Thank you Ketima I have attached the 2nd page with another page that has the ‘request for medical exam’ which actually appeared twice in the note….
@shupy, @mudiwest, @ lekiboboe, @frankrobn @makano, @justmellow and @everybody…….I am waiting for your inputs. Thank you. Your assessment note and eligibility status remains empty. However, I think it's all looking good. There might have been an intent to request for medical exam but you did it upfront, and for that reason, you never actually got the medical request. |

Elixosodi: Good day house,
So today I summoned the courage to email my school for deferment to the winter session and they replied me by saying they dont defer admission except on the ground of severe illness or death of a family member meanwhile none of the above is my portion. They said I have two options which are to resume classes from my home country or I forfeit the admission and reapply.
Dear Guru's in the house what do you suggest I do? Personally, I dont want to pay tuition fee until I see the decision of IRCC.
I am a May 24th applicant and I have ordered for my gscm note to know the current stay of my application. I sent an email today for my gscm note after I filled the form but I didn't get a message of acknowledgement or received. Is this normal? If you will be provided full refund in the event of application refusal, even after you start class online, then resume class. If not, forfeit admission. You can still wait till end of the month before taking that step provided there's no deadline for forfeiture. |

Websites for gcsmnotes says "notes delivered 30-40 days" as in it takes 30-40 days in processing it. Please share your experience... Mehn!! 30-40 days seems too much or maybe na my blood just dey hot....
Thanks in advance You can but it's highly unlikely you see any useful info. |

Jioke1994: Hi @shupy Does first bank partner with mybankstatement? Someone said yes to the above question. I'm yet to check myself. Secondly, if yes, can I just get the mybankstatement, and include it in my app? I heard you say that it can be directly sent to the embassy from d mobile app. But, me, I feel like submitting it together with other documents, since it's a document that has a password and ticket id. I don't feel like sending it alone from the mobile app. I think for first bank you'd have to go to the bank. Secondly all that's required of you to upload is the MyBankStatement certificate that will be generated after the bank statement is sent to the embassy. You can attach the certificate with other financial proofs. |

Demmy10: I'm so sorry for disturbing you. Would it sound convincing enough to the VO that I can launch a career just having a High school cert and Ontario diploma cert... And I guess the certifications above are higher than the program I want to study It's convincing. And truthfully the ICT is an industry that doesn't necessarily require a BSC for one to be successful. Just work on your SOP in its entirety. You can launch a career with a diploma certificate with the intent of pursing industry certification in the nearest future . Make sure you include the bolded. |

Endupacc: Thank you very much shuppy for your response. Can i get that from the Bank or is it something i can download from my phone? Please give me a proper guide on how to go about the process. It depends on the bank, but most do have the option of sending account statement to the embassy via mobile app. If your sponsor's bank is among those, then MyBankStatement certificate can be generated after it's sent to the embassy. The certificate is automatically sent to your sponsor's email. If there's no option to send bank statement to the embassy. Your sponsor might have to visit the bank. |

Demmy10: Thank you for your contribution, but what would I state to the VO about my plans after the completion of the program You could state you intend to return to Nigeria and launch a career in computer and network systems. While at it, you state potentials and growth of the Nigerian ICT industry. All these are available online. You could also make mention of your intent to pursue industry certifications such as Microsoft MTA, Cisco CCNA, Security+ and MCSA. |

Demmy10: Hello guys
If you graduated high school in 2020, and you going for a diploma program in Computer System Technician Networking. In your Letter of Explanation, can you state to the VO that after the completion your program in Canada you would be back to pursue a Bsc in your home country. As it would give more knowledge you require in pursuing a higher credential. Would that be a red flag? It doesn't seem like a reasonable plan to me. You'll be better off not mentioning it |

I can't say it's a must. However, in his sponsorship letter, he has to say what he does for a living. It's always good to back such claim with proof. A work ID can be used. |

I was going through the thread and previous post but I have a couple of questions. Please can anyone help me clarify?
What's the importance of including copies of International Passport Bio data page of Applicant’s Family Members OR Birth certificates (Parents and Siblings) to my application?
Secondly, I am going for my undergraduate, do I need to include a resume? When I have just my secondary certificate and I haven't been employed. @bolded is not a requirement. And no, you don't need to include a resume. |

Elixosodi: I am really concerned oo, someone should please give me a word of encouragement since May 24th may eligibility review has not started. Truth is IRCC has no regard for resumption date. They expect you to defer if they are unable to finalize your application before resumption. Your application may get finalized within 48 hrs after your eligibility review status is updated on your profile. All the best. |

Fishlink: Warm Greetings Gurus in the house!!! i would like to seek a kind advise from you all. I want to apply to a polytechnic in Canada for a 2 years Diploma program in Hotel and Restaurant management. Here is my case on the long run.
I have a Degree in Fisheries in Nigeria 5 years ago but upon completion of NYSC i never worked in the field of Fisheries then i migrated to Unite Arab Emirates were i took up a job in the Field of Hotel and Hospitality Management. Though i have done online courses in Hotel Management and obtain the certificates.
Also, i have 6 years work experience in Hotel industry that's why i decide to proceed to enroll for Hotel and Restaurant management (2 Years course duration) to study in Canada.
I will be paying straight 10k CAD for school fee, about 6M POF, 3 Landed property documents in my name with value of about 4M each, Employment and Reference letter, Pay Slip.
I'm Applying from United Arab Emirate! Kindly advise if i'm on a good track gurus Firstly, IRCC don't have a good reputation for granting study permit to expatriate especially those based in middle east. Secondly, you are self sponsored and you're going for a 2 years course, to be on a safe side regarding proof of fund, ensure you have funds for for 1st and second year tuition, and at least first year living expenses. |

emmalextemtop: Really, are you sure?
So i can submit the CAC doc without the new bank details then but the old bank details.
Cos registering a farming biz now will look somehow and it's too early. Am looking forward to get the invoices, sales receipt for years and pictures of biz environment. Hope this will suffice in absence of the CAC!...? My response has nothing to do with visa application. This was your question "Hello, registering a biz through CAC, does it importantly requires opening a bank account with it at first instance?" And I stated, it doesn't. I already gave you suggestion awhile back regarding your circumstance. |

Valuation of asset no be small money o.
Can I bypass this? Better don't waste your money. It's not essential at all. |

Jioke1994: Hi @shupy, I was told by a friend that my sponsor can only prove the existence of his business by using a letterheaded paper to write a sponsorship letter. As per his words, this letterheaded paper should have his company's details (including his company's RC no.), which d VO will use to verify d ownership and existence of his business. How true is this? He also said that my sponsor doesn't need to provide his CAC documents, just d letterhead of his sponsorship letter is enough to address d existence of his business only if it has his company's RC no. Tnx coz I know say u go reply. There are are no ground rules to application packaging/documentation. What I offer you is just an opinion. In my preassessment note, it was noted that I provided proof of ownership of my sister's bussines. That implies CAC document is highly regarded. Yes, a letterhead might be given consideration to an extent but in your circumstance, it's in no way better than providing CAC documents. |
