Shibaraba: Funny thing about them is they think they are the smartest. The westerners also fraud like mad but why don't they top the list? Answers anyone?
I'll tell you why. When they know they can be caught majority of them back out. Some even own up. But these ones... Lailai. They know it's dangerous they do still go there. Read somewhere that one knew he would be caught but still went ahead on a spending spree. Where is the life.
USA sorry o. You gave them a tool, they used it against you. No the westerners don't have the upper cut to engage in the upper end of the fraud. Most of them are still collecting change in Lagos. They are the ones EFCC catch, they have little intelligence to pull off the big crimes worth chasing after by FBI. |

illitrate: Another nonsense looting agenda, you have no database with DNA samples, how to u detect criminals via dna? do u get dna on crime scene and start scanning detained criminals for dna match?
I live in a working society and work as part of such a team. Without a working database this is a joke. Wrong! Read what I told your likely minded friend. If my DNA is not Already in the system, what would i be tested for? Good question. I will help you. IF they have your prints or blood or semen samples from the scene, it's simple. You are the suspect remember and you claim you were not the culprit, like Shaggy, it wasn't you. No problem. Mr suspect, you alright mate? we would like to get take your blood, fingerprint or seen samples to cross-check with those we obtained from the scene, in order to completely eliminate you as a suspect, so you can quickly go home and be with your family. You: no problem detective. Your samples are taken and analysed and used to cross reference with the results from the crime scene samples. Viola! 99% march will land you in kirikiri or zero match will take you home to be with your maama. If you are the first customer...They will use your sample and those from the scene to create the first database data. Next time, similar crime is committed, they will feed the analysis result of the crime secene sample into the database, you might pop up if you are the culprit and they will corner you at MM2 as you are returning from vacation with bae. Mr A, welcome back to Nigeria. Could you come with us please? You are under arrest for the murder of madam Beatrice, you have fucking right to remain silent as anything you say will be used against in the court of law. |

WriterX: not necessarily all in abroad, you don't need to have all, small time offenders who don't have permanent charges to their names, institutions and companies may require giving their DNA sample by which over the time, a database can be amassed across various states You are right! Same thing I told someone up there. |

Angelfrost: Good question... That's supposed to be the first thing... Will they collect the DNA and the machine will magically conjure up the offender?...
Another white elephant project to steal taxpayers' money. You don't need a database in place before starting forensic analysis. DNA can be used to confirm a suspect has indeed committed the crime. How? Get samples from the scene ( which is not feasible in Naija now) and then get sample from the suspect, run the DNA analysis of both and compare. Database is generated gradually....as they collect samples from scene and suspects. Meanwhile, this is an old post! How did it suddenly turn up on the front page and how far with the facility though? |

At least that would made him suspicious of the FBI investigation and stayed back in Nigeria. |

dochenaj: They had the email address and Nairaland helped them link it to a person. Not a big deal, any good reverse search on an email address will reveal a lot of information. The case is not that solid, a good defense counsel will win it. It is all founded on the validity of the source. Lmao, you are not serious, are you? How would a judge question the validity of the source? Go get a good defence counsel for him them? I bet you didn't read the full statement from FBI. |

With search warrant, FBI can ransack all your social media, email accounts as far as they are headquartered in the US. |

FBI has sophiscated tools to their disposal. I'm currently studying ethical hacking, cyber security and forensics, and when I'm done, I will be unto people like who have refused to to look for legitimate jobs. Will squash that your stupid VPN and knock down your front door. |

I just traced my colleagues private email address to her facebook page. Open source is there on the internet to do it for you. Its not about Nairaland. She is gone and gone for good. I am sure she hasn't enjoyed herself in the UK the way she might be enjoying in Big brother's house. After the show, she will stay back in Nigeria and start acting, doing shows and speaking" Oi and mate" at events. She will sell out and make big bucks.
These Oyibo people always think we are a bush people and can't do without them. I don't blame them sha. Not when people perish every day at the MEDITERRANEAN Sea just to cross over their side, illegally.

I picked up my passport today after three weeks of biometric.
I was almost sure I wasn't gonna get my visa, because I made an unpardonable mistake on my application.
I even wrote to them to cancel my application and was told a decision had been reached already.
Was shocked to see visa approved.
THANK GOD! Lessons learnt. |

Hi guys
After submitted my application two weeks, I didn't get any email from UKVI confirming reciept, although it's saud on TSL website that it's been recovered by DMC. Is this normal?
Most importantly, can I still withdraw my application after they've sent it to the UK? If test, please how I do it? made a massive mistake in the application which cannot be Corrected with sending them an extra cover letter?
Thanks guys. |
