Thank you great Igbos for having mercy upon Nigeria and not letting the economy crash . . . Lol
Jonathan must be texting Buhari now on who to watch closely, all thanks to his own first-hand experience.

Not enough? These people are terrible in nature. Same elite ibo who hijacked public opinion of ibos and presented them as a 100 % anti West/North people are going public crying for positions to make it look like they are pro-ibo at heart.
Am sure when Buhari looks back at their attitude and his anti-corruption fight proimises he wouldn't want to risk bringing in people who will scuttle his goals.

barcanista:
This is a stale propaganda. Buhari himself has dismissed it so I will let it rest.

"I cannot take credit for the revival of the refineries because I have no input to it, if I say I had a hand in it, it will be a lie and I cannot tell lies." (President Muhammadu Buhari)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttD5Tr-c9fQ
If Buhari can't take responsibilty then who will. The man is simply saying he did nothing spectacular but people behaved at the mention of Change... He he he
GEJ Govts was eyeing tax increase and telling us about a 2016 date for optimum operation of the refineries.

Everybody is guessing like they are the perpetrator of the corruption in question. Funny enough, NNPC is trying to play down the scale of corruption so only a thorough probe will tell what's missing. I suggest Buhari admin allow more than one private financial forensic firm do independent jobs and let's compare results.

Politics › Re: Yoruba Say SW And North Saved N/delta From Igbos - Tweet by Sibrah: 9:26pm On Jul 29, 2015
barcanista:
Thank you @OP for the mention.

First and foremost, some (majority) of Niger Deltans had the notion of Igbo dominance when the Biafran State was first declared in 1967 and all through the war period. Some of us(Niger Deltans) that never experienced the war unfortunately held to this sentiment and even defended it. At present, some of us have however realised that position was baseless and a product of propaganda. I have to state with the fear of God that the Igbos will not and cannot "dominate" any tribe within the SS and SE region. I am yet to see such plan.

Let us recall that during the struggle for the MidWest region from the Western region, some people outside the Midwest had proposed that Anioma (in president day Delta state) be ceded to the Eastern region while wthe rest of Midwest be one. The propaganda was that the Igbos will dominate the Binis and others in the New Midwest. Fortunately, the then Oba of Benin and other advocates of the Midwest region insisted that Anioma should be part of MidWest. In fact, when Midwest was created there was relative peace and brotherhood between the Igbos, the Ijaws, the Binis and other ethnic nationalities in the MidWest.

I will suggest that proponents of one Nigeria should be more concerned with solutions that will solve the issue of marginalisation and will entrench equity, instead of making comments that promotes division. We have to recognise the right of people to self-determination while we appeal to everyone to come to negotiating table. The Igbo nation is an ally and cousin to the ND- there are Igbos of ND stock.
Your mischief knows no bound. What about the calabaris, the calabarpeople, and other minority tribes in the ND? You skillfully avoided those part in your breakdown of ND.

Programming › Re: Is Seun Osewa Really A Super Guru Programmer by Sibrah: 2:08pm On Jul 25, 2015
seunoni34:
Facebook has 1.2bn ACTIVE users, the number of registered users might double that
Nairaland has 1 million REGISTERED users, ACTIVE users can not be up to 10000
Twitter even launched in 2008 (like 3 years after nairaland) and it now has close to 400m active users, same with Instagram.
The issue is, seun has no foresight or goals he's aiming at, he just setup a forum like any other.
I think he just did this just to have something to call his own or rather to make money.
What you just said is like compaing what's app to BBM. Whatsapp can run on wider range of smartphones android, bb OS, apple, windows and more while BBM is tied to devices BBM and android. Nairaland is targetted at Nigerians while Facebook and twitter are unique social media platform that meet specific types of need that thrives on size and 'hotness' existing user. Niaraland is a nigerian forum targetted at various aspect of life.
Even if Nairaland, Facebook and Twitter were direct rivals, the reputation of Nairaland will still be affected by the perception of Nigerians worldwide. Facebook for example was able to capture the attention of the world through its Havard connection. When the first few user, mostly havard undergraduates, registered and found the idea nice, it was easy for others americans and international users to register on it because virtually everybody want to belong in a way. Even if facebook had started in Nigeria nobody will want to belong to a SM network of 'scammers'. Seun is well above average programmer.

finniblinks:
this question goes to thousands of Nigerian mechanical engineers that can solve caculus,Algebra and all the engineering mathmatics.are u better than INNOCENT IFEDIASO CHUKWUMA,CEO INNOSON GROUP OF COMPANIES.THE FIRST AND ONLY BLACK MAN TO OWN AND MANAGE A CAR MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN THE WORLD
Engineering has been bastardized in this part of the world. As mech engr graduates you don't have to be a car manufacturer as there are many mechanical oriented product to me made. Even at that most mechanical products are made from lots of mechanical parts assembled together. No single vehicle manufacturer can boast of making 50% of its components in-house.
Looking at it from a Nigerian grad point of view, the courses you take as a mech engr student is not meant to teach you how to make specific mechanical product but to learn about principles of mechanical engineering and a lttle of closely related feilds like material sciences.
.
The OP is just one of those ignoramus who thinks engineering study in uni gives u the knowledge to engineer anything. Engineering is like art you have to be creative with the principles you have learnt without having to re-invent the wheel.
