Politics › Re: Mr President Where Is Our 5thousand Naira!!!!!!!! by Sibrah: 10:42pm On Nov 04, 2015
Useless question. U shld b glad you even have a running government. With average price of oil at 108 USD a barrel during jona's time Nigeria had 70 recurrent expenditure so at ~50 USD a barrel you tell us how this admin shld embark on what jona couldn't.
For the people not to be on the street now is an achievement on its own. PDP was planning to increase VAT, stop Amnesty and remove subsidy.

Politics › Re: Oil Producing states In Nigeria - The Facts and Figures by Sibrah: 4:39pm On Nov 03, 2015
kettykin:
Ondo state became an oil producing state through rogue boundary adjustment perpetrated during the regime of olusegun obasanjo.
Niger delta should continue to play dumbness and stupidity.
The same obasanjo wanted to take gas from brass to OK lng until Jonathan miraculously stepped in to power.
This is the real reason why yorubas never forgave Jonathan.
Your ego massaging excuse is just too dumb. Did the OBJ regime also cleanse the reallocated area of their population? As long as the people aren't complaining you have no point here. Ondo states trumps 'multiple' states in reserves and current contribution. I can undertand your anger.

Politics › Re: I Want To Be Remembered For Fighting Corruption To A Standstill – Buhari by Sibrah:
I appeal to all childish wailers that they give our President the chance to fight corruption as he has said. It will be hard to have another person come on board and give corruption a fight like Buhari would. Let's forget all the APC vs PDP rivalry and allow this man achieve his goal. Even though he had to come on the APC platform, I know we need to soft-pedal our critism of him.
I also want the Buhari admin to focus on building stronger institution that can resist the forces of corruption for a long time to come. He may go after individuals to make a point on the short run, but the institution he leaves behind can be compromised when he is gone.
All those shouting Tinubu and Ameachi should know that corruption as a force in Nigeria knows no party or tribe, the other day it was one "Kolawole" aiding a "Madueke" in concealing loots. Let's give a leader who is truly passionate about positive change a chance and stop the propaganda of 'one chance'

Idrismusty97:
What has exporting more than 90% of our crude oil done to the Naira?
Since we end up spending most of it on foreign produces (rice, fabrics etc)it has slipped out of our hands but if we focus on local produces then the money gotten from 90% oil sales will stay in our economy longer and help it.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Produced US$16 Billion Worth Of Cassava In 2013 But Consumed 90 Percent by Sibrah: 10:16pm On Oct 29, 2015
^^^Can a man fry garri? Hmm, answer me . . . Lol
Idrismusty97:
So? We shouldn't eat again, must everything be exported. Nigeria would have been better if we focus first on our domestic consumption. Japan has already overtaken us as the largest producer of Yam BTW, i don't know what is the correlation between women and cassava. Women empowerment and Cassava are two different topics smiley. I like the part of being the world largest processor of cassava as well, it doesn't make sense producing something when you can't processed it
If we focus on local consumption it amounts to aiming at maintaining economy stability like a stable Naira rate but exporting it brings economic growth(better Naira exchange rate).
Politics › Re: Nigeria Produced US$16 Billion Worth Of Cassava In 2013 But Consumed 90 Percent by Sibrah: 10:07pm On Oct 29, 2015
Wow! We eat that much? At least it helps keep our scarce Naira within the economy. We need to replace christmas rice with 'christmas eba' this year.
Don't know why Buhari can't utilize Akinwunmi Adesina further, he appears to tick all the boxes of a good technocrat that can impact Nigeria.

My fear abt JS and JQuery is that they aren't complete on their own as they need HTML, CSS most times to complement them. You guys who are into it can correct me if I am wrong. I favoured java cos i saw it being capabletof running 'everywhere' when i started programming. Though, now i know better but i still see JS & JQuery as 50% of web based dev.

Are you saying 400k was used to settle all your teachers, buy chalk, stationeries, and maintain the school? If the govt is spending more on each student in public schools what does it tell you.
