PDP is largely responsible for this mess. Our reserves should be reading well over 120 billion USD balance by now. Nigerians will have to wake up to the fact that we are running a handout based system that seeks to distribute what is available instead of investing it towards making net exporters. I like the title of the thread where it says 'bereaucrats' because that's what we are. |

Nigerian Police has that reputation of one that can make any bear confess to the digging of a rabbit hole. Look at the incident of the Hotel with a human skull who's manager was tortured that made front page, they took no picture of crime scene, no detailed evidence just demolition of d hotel and extreme torture. |

In the midst of mediocrity left behind by the 'Killers' excellence can be easily achieved with normal effort. Isn't this same crude product the same as the ones with excess in international market. Economic market forces dictates that these product should be readily available in a country where people are ready to pay what other countries pay. I can't help the feeling of Nigeria being one big entrapment, like a large prison society, where so many basics amenities of life are inaccessible. I feel trapped. |

Ucheosefoh: Kai this people don finish us, presidency go corner their own, NNPC go corner their own, them go share the remaining money to states and local governments, state government go corner their own, local government go still corner their own na only small money go remain for developmental purpose. Even contractors are not left out no wonder we refuse to develop, corruption has caused Nigeria more than what all the natural disasters join together has caused other nations. I can't wait for heads to roll. You're right. It is all about cornering at various levels of governance. In my estimate 75 percent of what we earn goes to the wrong hands. From contractors giving kickbacks to leaders paying themselves and stealing, I estimate 75% of all earnings to come out useless by reason of corruption. |

Politics › How Atiku's Blind Crave For Power Will Lead To Renewed SS/SE 2019 Ambition by Sibrah(op): 3:07pm On Jun 27, 2015 |
With the way Atiku is raiding APC and PDP for his 2019 ambition, i foresee a situation where he will want to run on PDP platform and will face challenge from a SS/SE force that is ready to dump him for one of their own if they(SE/SS) able to overcome their little frictions. With the North's perceived bias against the Middle-Belt, i see them splitting sides and helping the SW(APC) strengthen and SE/SS(PDP) gain enough ground to be fully back by 2019. It is only a matter of time before the SE realize this and coming from a the back of full support the SE appeared to give a SS candidate, GEJ, they will be confident of reciprocal gesture from the SS and even beyond. Atiku should realize that politics has a way of expunging neutrality. Nigerian Politics abhor neutrality and as the race hots up those who are naturally prone to voting one of their own, either along ethnic or religious line, will find themselves supporting a candidate. The northern vote isn't Atiku's to loose in anyway. The thieving class might look up to him for respite for from the Buhari admin but then there are corrupt candidates that can guaranty our majorly corrupt ruling class. |
Politics › Re: Buhari/yemi Should Be Given Credit For The Once Done. by Sibrah: 2:44pm On Jun 27, 2015 |
Nokiax2: Mr. President Muhammadu Buhari is not a man with many words, because actions speaks louder than words. Nobody need to be told about the change that is unfolding before us. Buhari is a man who believe in integrety and respect for human life and not a noise making person, he feel he has to take the risk to actulised a better nigeria unlike his procedesus who take there desires the top most priorities. We have been seeing and witness delibrate refunding of illegal accumulation of public fund by some selfish nigerians or organization. This is to tell us that, our nigeria and nigerians are in the right hands and competent leader. For years no achievment of such as been recorded, Buhari is a man with zero tolerance for corruption and trying his best to bring corruption to it's kneels, with the blowing winds we can be assured that such great plans will be achieve in the nearest future, only with endurance and support from Nigerians. The man called president Muhammadu Buhari should be given credit for this fantabulus achievement within the short period of time. So i will use this forum to apeal to some misguided nigerians to ceased using disencourage words against our trying hard president, this words bring nothing but relent in effort. And most of the people saying this may be still be living under there parents or better still feeding from hand to mouth, but look at there heart they want to become in great in life. Let be sincere enough is this the kind of life you want to live, depending?? If no, why wishing a man who is trying to make things easy bad luck? Why not give our amiable president the courage he need to pilot the affairs of this great country? Buhari has sacrifies his old age for us and let us accept it and make it bearable for him, instead of galibanting our ignorance for the sake of pleasing one selfish individual or attension seeker. May God give Buhari/Yemi all the strenght they need to pilot the affairs of this country. Longlive Buhari/Yemi. Longlive Nigeria.
Amin. Definitely They should, but will they? |

Kc3000: I thought Tinubu's praise singers declared him kingmaker and overlord of APC. They foolishly forget that ACN merged with other parties to form APC, and folks in these other camps have never been or intend to be subservient to Tinubu. Tinubu is not going to lord it over the likes of Buhari and Atiku. . .he was a nobody when Buhari was a Head of State of this same Nigeria. The very worst he can do is to wait for the next four years and steer his SW loyalists in a different direction when elections come up. Where was Atiku and Tambuwal when Tinubu was standing up to military dictators? What happens when PDP wants to present a candidate different from the Rebellious Atiku in 2019. By that time you will realize that Tinubu will likely be one of three major contending forces amongst whom the votes will revolve. So game on. |
