309million dollars flowed in and yet no significant change in the parallel market? could it be the bureau de change operators are selfishly dictating the Price in the parallel market an not the demand-supply Shiite we have been fed since.
anyways time will tell within the week
Was wondering also. Demand and supply force is being manipulated.

Mr Aregbesola has consistently paid half salary since July last year...let me tell you that those half salaries aren't regular, he paid the half salary for May in August. All these model schools and roads are just propagandas, he built them at the expense of the people with a very huge debt. It seems the OP doesn't live in Osun, cos if you do you'll know the extent of the damage this man has caused.
If more people had raised these points then it wouldn't have been this bad for Osun.

You need to stop being half smart dude. The speeches were prepared by them and we all know they 've been giving speech almost on a monthly basis, why now and why both of them going public when they have access to the presidency as -ex-statesmen? Use your mind and stop sounding half-smart.

I don't think so. I think buhari is trying to pay them back for criticising him. Buhari is a vindictive fellow. Dasuki is suffering, not just for diverting defence fund, but also for the coup he plotted against buhari and for causing buhari's wife to leave him. Yes, buhari is vindictive.
You are not thinking right. Soludo and Sanusi are statesmen and have access to the Presidency all along why are just ''advicing'' him now?

have you ever try to figure out what stop those rural people from farming?

firstly, I hope you know what it cost to farm manually, which are: hope, strength, stability and capital, you should understand that in Nigeria farming is not easy if you considere the price of manure, weed and pest control.
This year we sprayed two bags of rice in one of our land as usual, it is not yet ready but almost N200,000 has been spent, something beyond a village man to afford easily.

secondly, this rural settlements has insufficient social amenities; no good hospitals, no good drinking water, how will they gather the strength and hope to farm?

thirdly, they have no hope and desire to farm because they are afraid - they are in fair of loosing there capital and life, because among the herdsmen some naughty ones will push their cows to feed there, if the famers try to resist, they die, what punishment has this govt do to one herdsman?
is this not terrorist in arising? what will happen in the next 1 decade if this is allowed?
where are they getting weapons in the name of protection which is merely a lie?

it seems you are living well but not aware of other's suffering, go on a little excursion and your views will surely change.
Even though you raised lots of salient point towards the end of your reply, Read and comprehend my post well.
If the FG wasn't forcing down the dollar exchange rate the farmers will command higher returns on same volume of goods they produce and stay afloat more often.

My thoughts Exactly! Glad to meet an intelligent fellow. Not many people know the intrigues in politics. Probably, the ex-CBN Governors have insiders in the Presidency who have briefed them of the impending probe. Hence, their recent simultaneous comments. If not, why has it taken so long to comment on the state of the economy? And why not go and meet the President and his economic team to advise them about the economy? Soludo and Sanusi are statemen. They can't be denied access to PMB. Leadership is a very difficult task.
God bless you. And the funny thing people who already hate Buhari and fear his anti-corruption crusade will pounce on this feed off it.
Politics › Re: Opinion: Nairalanders, Lets Advice The Present Administration by Sibrah: 4:57am On Aug 28, 2016
@Azujabee, Let me address the Naira and Village hunger situation.
Naira will continue to fall and it is beyond Buhari or any President as it stands. The reason?
In the past govt didn't let the forces of demand and supply dictate Naira-to-dollar exchange value entirely. The govt acheived this by using excess dollar from oil sales to defend the Naira. It did this by offering the excess dollar earned from oil sales at a low rate in forex market to importers through CBN regulated commercial banks. This system was sustainable because there was always excess dollar in the reserve. Right now there isn't enough dollar to meet directly constitutionally backed government obligations alone talkless of the Father Christmas Obligations. All this while the govt was keeping dollar exchange rate down the real exporters who were suppose to provide alternative forex earners asides oil where discouraged by low dollar-exchange rate.

On the reason the villages are being ravaged by Hunger;
1) Laziness. Rural settlement all over the world are know for excess food because people there choose to farm. In Nigeria LGAs you see a 50 drivers being on payroll when they barely have 5 vehicles. This is labour subsidy and it kills the productivity-drive that can initiate and sustain alternative export asides oil.
Politics › Re: Full Employment In A Modern Communism by Sibrah: 4:11am On Aug 28, 2016
lawani:
I am not saying people should be forced to work in this post but that all available work should be shared with mundane or routine work automated as much as possible. Anyone that does not want to work should not benefit from that. Laziness is not the cause of poverty or unemployment, you may say lack of foresight, insight, wisdom and etc but not laziness. Are you against all that? Evil people working for the antichrist and the Dajjal (Christians and Muslims) have dug in against such an arrangement. I am sure they will fail.
Some person have vowed not to work and the concept of job sharing by you illogical. Industrialization is all about utilizing least possible human effort to get maximum output. Why then force lazy hands to be involved?

Well, if that will ensure he completes his refinery latest by 2019. So be it.

Imported refined oil products consume 40% of our foreign exchange .

So if Nigeria gives 10% of our forex to a man who has the potential of putting a stop to a loss of 40% forex. I have no qualms with that.

He is from Kaduna and the last time I checked, Kaduna is not one of those backward northern states and Kaduna state is far ahead most southern states. Meanwhile, forget the messenger and let's focus on the message. Seeing the mess in the banking system and scamming of people through purchase of bank shares and most importantly, the non diversification of the economy at the height of $140 per barrel of crude oil, Shehu Sani just reminded us that Soludo actually failed as a CBN governor. A CBN governor who was ready to redominate our currency at the height of peak crude oil earning makes is a foolish economist , thank God the late Yardua quickly stopped us from the severe consequences of that soludo madness. If that redenomination had succeeded that time, Naira would have become Zimbabwean dollars by now .
Thank God, Mr Henry Olujimi Boyo is still alive,he screamed to high heavens then that Soludo is a foolish economist and was practicing voodoo economics with The Nigerian economy. When this Baba Go Slow Emefiele retires now, he too who keeps making silly mistakes upon mistakes, will start advising, ko? Useless unpatriotic leaders who only know how to line their pockets with filthy lucre.
I don't blame Soludo, when the week already started with the nonsense from the leader of the most corrupt Nigerian government ever, Goodluck Jonathan, lying in an obscene manner that he left Nigeria as a Big successful economy ,why won't Soludo talk trash. Shehu Sani is on point joor!!!
Soludo think we are Sudoku game. He couldn't do nada with record earning but wants to play cheap politics with words.
