Islam for Muslims / Re: The Last Sermon Of Rasullulah (may Allah Have Mercy Upon Him) by siddiq202(m): 9:47pm On Jun 22, 2013
novicali:
Well in Islam one is not permitted to query the authority and authenticity of the prophet.The word of the prophet is the final word. This question if sincerely answered will unearth the truth about the foundation of Islam, but the truth is no one( I mean those that call themselves scholars) will make an attempt to answer these questions. However, there was tussle and battle over the leadership position of the Islamic enclave and caliphate between the Umar and Abu bakir fractions after the death of Muhammad. Alli died as a result of the beating he received from the Catholic authority for misleading Muhammad by telling him that his name was written in the Bible. When it was proven that his name is not in the Bible Muhammad issued a fatua against Christians and Jews to eliminate them and treat them as enemies because they have removed his name from the Bible. The Shia muslims believed that Alli is the true prophet because he lived a well conducted and organized moral life better than Mohammad.
grin grin grin

I just have to quote this your post in case you modify it in future. Laugh wan tear my belle. Ignorance is a disease.
Why cant you just do a research/read about Islam from a good source instead of displaying your ignorance for everyone to see?

psucc: Irrespective of the criteria used, Nigeria is no match for Spain and Uruquay will also crest past Tahiti: so we are better back home.

well said.
The team is improving no doubt. I like the fact that we are gradually building a team that are hungry to show the world what we were once known for and not just about some players that always believe they have their starting shirt anytime Nigeria got to play. As for this competition, I will accept any result against Spain because we are out already.
Sports / Re: Can Nigeria Still Qualify? by siddiq202(m): 12:51pm On Jun 21, 2013
marutimon:

Right now: Spain +11, Nigeria +4, Uruguay 0
Nigeria win 1:0: Spain +10, Nigeria +5

Nigeria win 4:0: Spain +7, Nigeria +8
So Nigeria needs to win by 4 goals to progress, while Uruguay needs to win by 8 goals to be guaranteed progression.
Unfortunately, unless Tahiti somehow improve their defence it does not look good for Nigeria. Those missed chances in the Tahiti game might come and bite Nigeria in the buttocks.
@bold
I mentioned that also.

But bros, to be candid we are too overambitious. Even if we are going to beat Spain, it's definitely not with wide margin and there is no way that Tahiti will not concede at least 5 unreplied goals against Uruguay. Well, like they say, it's football anything can happen
Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs Uruguay - Player Rating by siddiq202(m): 11:37am On Jun 21, 2013
Jarus: SUBS

OVERALL POSITIVE:
I think we expected too much from this team and we are impatient. The team is still under construction and these boys are still young. We also forget that Uruguay are champions in a continent that has Brazil and Argentina. What’s more, Forlan, Suarez and Cavani are no small players in world football. Not forgetting others players from Athletico Madrid, Liverpool etc. And this is a team we expected our own Ukraine and Belgian leagues players to defeat. It was a decent showing in my opinion.

grin grin grin
Like seriously? Maybe on paper
Sports / Re: Can Nigeria Still Qualify? by siddiq202(m): 11:26am On Jun 21, 2013
marutimon: If Nigeria win against Spain they can still take the group.

Should Nigeria win, than Uruguay needs to win by a minimum of 6 goals against Tahiti, although they need to win by 8 goals to be sure.

Nigeria will need to score at least four goals against Spain and win by at least three to be sure.

Here is my own take:
siddiq202: There are so many analysis on the match day thread so I decided to do some permutation too.

If we beat spain in the final match of the group stages and Uruguay beat Tahiti, nigeria, spain and uruguay will have 6 points each. The next thing is to look at the goal difference (this is fifa not uefa) of each team. Currently,
spain has +11 goals,
nigeria with +4 goals and
uruguay has 0 goal difference.

If we beat spain by 1 - 0 for instance and uruguay beat taiti 5 - 0, then the teams goal difference will be as follows:
spain = +10 goals
Uruguay = +5 goals
Nigeria = +5 goals
head to head between uruguay and nigeria will favour uruguay.
In summary, naija is out!

Women's professional was a different route = 40km
Men's Amateur = 60km
Men's recreational = 45km (I rode in and completed this category cool )
