@ olawunmi_samuel ....story of my life....when i did mine...na only my mama had faith in the whole process....so, no worry...if its urs..u will get it....I am sure ur sponsor don transfer money to u several times....print all ur bank statements ...also, ensure u hammer am well that when ur dad passed...he stepped up in taking care of u...a lawyer notarised letter by ur sponsor will go along way....and ask ur sponsor to state clearly why he has been sponsoring u ...I mean, what does he stand to gain....

Both @earthgreeners and @olawunmi samuel don smoke the wrong grass together.... ..... now to finally cap this answer....when I did mine...I no use any parent as dem no carry ....na family friend and my Uncle I use....and I have over 10 people wey use family friends with totally different last names...infact...the letters of the last names no even similar .... I also know few from this forum...just that once una get visa...its hard to see una here again....na collect visa and cut from forum....

nobleman01: hello, please, i need your help. i learnt that you have to write an english proficiency exam(toefl etc) before applying for canadian visa. Nigeria was exempted by the school that gave me admission so i dint bother writing it only to hear i need to submit the exam result with my documents a day to submission. i however submitted the application but have been disturbed since then and wondering if i should still go for the exam.

Very very important....Lost 2 siblings cos Papa and Mama were both AS .... never make the mistake...my ex-fiancee is AS and Im AS as well.....we both ended the relationship after 6yrs....last time I saw her was 1999 ......and till today, we are very good friends even though we are thousands of miles apart ......I ensured that the woman I married is AA.....the experience I had as a child growing up with sickle cell elder bro and sis was bad....

Following the gruesome murder of Damilola Ibrahim Olaniyan, a.k.a Damoche, by cultists at LASU (Lagos State University) on Thursday, reprisal allegedly took place that evening and reportedly continued till the following day. By the time the late musician was buried in the early hours of Saturday in Badagry, three more students, believed to be cultists, were allegedly killed in gruesome manner.

The three corpses could not be identified as of the time of going to the press, the social media were awash with gruesome photographs of corpses said to be those of rival gang members who killed the artiste. It is believed that one of the dead cultists shot Damoche on Thursday.

But as Olaniyan was being laid to rest, members of the rival cult, are suspected to have killed him, were threatening more attacks, even after he was buried.
In response to a story carried by The Eagle Online on Friday, a member of the rival cult, who identified himself as ‘Shameful To Be A Nigerian’, said one of Olaniyan’s friends, Alo, who vowed to revenge his killing, would also be killed.

A candlelight procession was later held at 6 p.m in honour of the late singer after the burial. Damoche was allegedly shot dead by suspected cultists at LASU main gate in Ojo.

deebla: Oga Siga, thanks but I need clarification. Are U talking about 6month bank statement for the parent's account or the child's account? Cos as I said, I tot it that the money will be dropped at once by the parent and its possible that the child has relatively no money b4. Or are U talking about the parent's account? Must it be submitted with d application despite the fact that he has transferred the money already?

...based on their requirements...they want to see 6 months bank statement of whichever acct u are submitting....

deebla: Pls house, help me look at this idea in the area of sponsorship. Is it a good idea if, in the case of a parent e.g father sponsoring a child, the father sends like 6million naira to the child's account at once. And then, the father writing a letter stating that he wishes to give all that the child needs at once for the successful stay in Canada. For example if tuition for PG programme plus 10000dols plus flight ticket will amount to about 5.5 million or so?

I just thought of it and I felt it is fair enough. But I need to know the thought of pple who have had the experience, whether it is allowed or not... Bearing in mind that application formats or packaging is not a one-way thing... It could be diverse.

.....When u think about these CDHC guys wahala.....we have seen people with N5m issued and also guys with N50m denied.....I will say ensure u have enough money to cover ur tuition, living and spending....and maybe an extra $10,000....pretty much anything over N6m to N7m will do...plus investments ....

As per coming back to naija....do u work now? if u do, try to get a letter from ur work place...if not, do u have a fiancee...state u are coming back for her....not even sure that would do anything to convince them.....the best bet is a job...or if ur parents or sponsor can claim u are coming back to manage their company if they do have one....
