tainzo: Hello All,

I wish to re apply for the Fall 2013 semester but my travel document (Int'l Passport) will be expiring in July 2014. Is it possible to proceed with renewing the passport before its expiration? If it is, how much does it cost?

I dont want to give any opportunity for another refusal.

Cheers.

galala123: @effizypo, why not call the school to find out if they will accept a scanned copy. I sent a scanned copy and received my refund cheque about a month later via UPS from Humber, then waited another 6 weeks (or so) for international clearing (though it was international money order) and of course my Bank cut a huge chunk in fees as if it was part of the national cake not mentioning the unfavourable cross rate used to convert CAD to USD.
With all this forthcoming shortages you should avoid postage fees if possible as it is even more annoying considering the fact that they are not additional expenses linked to a "mission accomplished"; otherwise, I'd go for DHL, UPS or fedex which can be tracked and is more reliable if the document to be sent is so important (you don't want someone telling you it was not received in good time for full refund especially considering the holiday's ahead and be left with no evidence to prove date of delivery). Can U track EMS speedpost?
...Yea u can track EMS...its effective...

shevy90: Hello house...I am not sure if this question follows on this thread. Pls I nid ur pieces of advice on this issue. A lady travelling on student visa to canada n she's about 4 to 5months preggy. Does this pose any reason to fidget and does her student health insurance covers giving birth in canada too. Pls I will really appreciate ur comments.

Joe980: * not satisfied you have financial resources, without working in Canny to pay tuition fee
* no financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study.
** Sponsorship not credible.
....the problem u have is not a bad one....na only financial issue...dont ditch this Sponsor....the issue is they are finding it hard to believe why this Sponsor is sponsoring u....how is he/she to u?

princetoochi: @All,please,i need quick response on this issue, especially guyz in Humber or the ones that have graduated from the school,i was given the first deadline to pay my school fees on 15th November, because of the delay from the CDHC side,i couldnt pay the tuition fees, this made them to withdraw my chance from the school, but after writing them with explanation on what really happened as regards to delay in my visa, they reinstated me back and extended the deadline to 5th dec, now, this is 5th Dec glaring before us but have not yet paid,am thinking of paying half of the money on monday being the 3rd,should i go ahead and paid despite the fact that i have not yet heard from CDHC or should i write the school(HUMBER)again for consideration on extending the due date until i hear from the CDHC here, please,i need contribution on this issue so urgently......my oga SIGA,please assist ur boy with ur response
....I am an Alumni of Humber....and I still heard a call with the international office few weeks ago as I have someone I plan applying for....they are very easy to approach....I will advise you give them a call ...but U can pay half ...per semester....no harm in that....the only organisation u should be worried about most is CDHC....half of the tuition is pretty good enough.....u can check the refund policy....once classes start, u cant get 100% back ooo....so ,call them and Im pretty sure they will tell you wat to do....

wemi85: @ siga just to say thank you for your advice the other day. i asked some weeks ago about my friend who studied in the UK but his UK student visa on his passport was just two years because his sister applied for stay for him while he was in the UK.And the stay was refused eventually. Anyway he got his medical instructions today and he is on his way to pick it up. Thank GOD CDHC was not concerned about why he had only a UK study visa of two years and he studied for four years there. Thanks for your help again Siga....
....no wahala...all i need from you is prayers....unlimited ones actually....congrats to ur friend
