effizypo: Finally reunited with my credentials. CDHC did a good thing in that not even one of my docs was withhold. Everything was returned including ones addressed to CDHC. Reason for refusal? ''Not a Bonafide student'' ''not credible''. Those were handwritten. I guess my choice of program and duration might have acted against me.Guys Keep it up. Should be credible for PRV. Will apply through the FSW next year by God's grace. Those who have gotten TRVs, I wish you success in your studies and those still expecting I wish you God's best for you.

It amazes me when all these MOG go to UK, US, Canada and all other stable countries to preach....why not go to Iraq, Iran, Syria, Gaza where the gospel is needed most to convert people....na Madison Square Garden or O2 Arena dem dey go....God dey sha....flying private jet everywhere when your members can barely survive...It matters not if ur rich members contribute to money to buy u a jet..wat happens to saying NO and advising them to create businesses that will employ our unemployed graduates....
Politics › How Telephone Glitch Frustrated Obama's Move To Reach Jonathan by Siga(op): 3:37pm On Nov 25, 2012
BOTH Presidents Barack Obama and Goodluck Jonathan wanted to talk on phone, but twice calls from the White House to Aso Rock failed to make the connection.

Authoritative sources confirmed during the week that efforts by President Obama to personally speak with Jonathan to return his congratulatory message has been aborted at least twice by the failure of the telephone system in Aso Rock.

After Obama' s second-term election victory three weeks ago, President Jonathan was among the first world leaders to congratulate him, offering him a hand of fellowship.

In response to the congratulatory messages, Obama on the Thursday of the same election week, started calling back some of the world leaders, who had congratulated him, to appreciate their letters and words of felicitation.

At least, three White House press statements by Press Secretary, Jay Carney, since the week of the election, have listed names of leaders Obama has been able to speak to in return for their congratulatory messages. Based on those statements made available to The Guardian, the US President has not been able to reach out to the Nigerian president.

But US sources confirmed that President Jonathan is one of those Obama was personally keen on talking to, in acknowledgement of their early congratulatory messages.

Specifically, on Monday November 12, according to US sources, White House officials, having coordinated with the US Embassy in Nigeria, and the Nigerian Embassy in the US, got a number to call Aso Rock, but, on two occasions on that day, both calls were simply not picked up, causing a diplomatic embarrassment for Aso Rock. The number had been given by Aso Rock officials to enable President Obama reach President Jonathan.

A source explained that what should have been done, as is normal in diplomatic etiquette, is for the Nigerian President to have a hotline to reach leaders of other countries that are strategic to the country, so that such important calls are easily facilitated.

Sources close to the Nigerian Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed the practice and put the blame squarely on Aso Rock telephone system and some of its operators and officials.

Nigeria's Ambassador to the US, Prof Adebowale Adefuye, confirmed that the US President wants to talk to Jonathan since after the election, but stated that it is yet to happen.

But he quickly added that the plans were still being worked out to make it a reality. He explained further that during this past week, President Obama was away in Asia and then returned for the Thanksgiving celebrations, a big holiday, which Americans mark every third Thursday in November. In most cases in the US, the holiday starts on the preceding Wednesday (November 21) until the following week, which is Monday, November 26.

Guys....from my point of view....I believe we all agree that there is a quota system.....now, the Canadian gov...when issue visas, expecially Study Visas....projects or wants to keep all graduates after their studies....hence the creation of CEC (Canadian Exp. Class) pathway to PR....they plan ahead to ensure the number of students admitted a yr, their program start date and end dates matches the CEC quota for any particular yr....hope this is not confusing...lol....for 2013...they have 10,000 spots for CEC...these guys need people, but they are not willing to bring people in, in millions....of cos, schools have quotas but that has nothing to do with CDHC...once schools quotas are full, they wont even offer u admission....as per visa quotas...thats purely Immigration Canada Ministers decision...not even Prime Minister....

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/speeches/2012/2012-10-31.asp

Like I have earlier said....most of these refusals are bogus....dont trust all the reasons....remember I was refused initially and I went back with same docs and an extra bank statement...and the second interviewer told me he would have approved the first time if he had interviewed me...so...na just excuse of clear files and tell Supervisor I finished all my work...Salary review is December...just did mine...so, u get the drift...

Please reapply...it is well

francspencer: the reason was
1.) insufficient funds to pay school fees without working
2.) insufficient funds to live without working
3.) Dont think you would return after ur course of study
Thanks
...1 and 2 they may have a reason for....but 3 is wat makes me laugh all the time....the same CDHC wey talk say u no go come back after ur studies, created a sweet pathway for every international students to stay and secure PR after studies....they cry on the news everyday we need to keep our international graduates...so, this is so funny and ridiculous....

Guys....I just want to say this for all those that were refused....been refused now does not mean when you reapply, you will be refused again....these CDHC work on quota....if and when it is full they give ridiculous excuses to refuse....some of them have back logged files on their desk and Supervisor dey worry them to clear it and the easiest and fastest way to clear it is to refuse with some nonsense excuse....so...inlight of this...my guys, refire the furnace....just take time and reset....no need to panic or rush....God is good!!!

pauloman: Bro i dont quite agree with you on that oh...IELTS test does not come in the format of the WAEC or SSCE exams. Sincerely speaking that exam is tough because it is technical. Fine! it is the normal english language thingy we all did in secondary school but it is the technicality that knocks most people out ! Especially in the listening and Reading Test. Hence the need to practice those aspect well and of course you also have time to contend with. Though it is not a pass or fail exam but your score matters depending which institution/organization and their stipulated requirements on what the minimum score you should have.
...I totally agree with you....our accent dey wahala us small....ur point dey valid...

I will consider the Skilled immigration option together with my whole family instead. @Pauloman and co, to the rescue grin grin grin grin

kanayogod: @siga, @all, good day, many thanks for your well analysed comments, i have a brother in the states, he's a US soldier, he has filed for me, dd that in July. I'm in the process of gettin admission letters frm either Uleth or Mount Royal for a bsc in comp sci, my questions are: at 36, going for another bsc, what are my chances? Can my brother be a sponsor? Wont CDHC querry my resolve to schl in canada rather than US where he is? Can i have more than 2 sponsors?
I hope to hear your comments, many thanks.
....Ur bro can sponsor u and u can have more than 2 sponsors....there is no place written on CDHC website that u cant have more than 2 sponsors, it may raise questions though....do u work now? becos CDHC will want to know why you are not working or wat u do now...when did u finish ur first degree? and in wat...why not pursue a PDG or Masters....

Foreign Affairs › Egypt's President Morsy Gives Himself New Powers by Siga(op): 2:18am On Nov 23, 2012
Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy has issued an order preventing any court from overturning his decisions, essentially allowing him to run the country unchecked until a new constitution is drafted, his spokesman announced on state TV Thursday.

Morsy also ordered retrials and reinvestigations in the deaths of protesters during last year's uprising against strongman Hosni Mubarak. That could lead to the reprosecution of Mubarak, currently serving a life prison term, and several acquitted officials who served under him.

The question remains.....is President Morsy going to be another Mubarak?
