greyhound is about a submarine commander leading his men in feisty waters. Unless you're aiming for te Navy, I don't see the use in watching it. Not as if the Nigerian Navy has a submarine unit
man led destroyers against subs...that’s something! Plus military movies in general appeal to me as one can learn a lot from any of them.

This greyhound movie has just shown the importance of believing in God while in the military... omo mhen it’s God as God alone

Learnt it was a senior officer that called her, prolly for a mission or assignment can't really say.
But personally I feel her death is purely accidental, her said friend won't put himself in trouble on purpose. And those that know NAF base Kaduna, it is almost as big as a local govt in Lagos. From the main gate outside to the second gate is almost 2km the road is very wide and smooth, vehicles usually fire speed there despite the speed limit. Even from the second gate to AFIT within the base is another journey on its own. Nevertheless I trust NAF to do a thorough investigation.
right on!

The flying officers sister has said that the family wants an in-depth investigation into her death! She was called to come to base and then a while later her death was announced...
The family thinks it’s fishy... but it might be media propaganda sha

But honestly... a lot of officers have died in the last 8 months..I’m talking about commissioned officers.. it’s too much..mhen we’ve got to make up our minds fast! This isn’t the time to apply for applying sake...
I remembered what happened for course 45 screening ...boko haram released a video that went viral a couple of days before we reported for screening... the people that came for it were the ones that were burning with passion... some states had only 3 that reported.. out of 30

My Candid Advice to we the Intending Applicants be sey Make we just chill and No overdo any form of I TOO KNOW coz A THOROUGH ANALYSIS OF WHAT HAPPENED TO LT COL ABU ALI at MALAM FATORI the Other day he was Killed was Nothing but Pure set Up (Real Narration by a Soldier who was also in Borno as at that time to my Close 4rnd at NYSC Enugu Campsite 2017 Batch A).....

Reports Generating from some quarters now sef has it that The KIA Airforce Lady just came back from fighting bandits in Katsina that day she was Ironically Killed by a Break Failure Car in Reverse (lol)....

Now is this some form of Coincidence as Well?? WHO IS THE GIRL THAT WAS DRIVING THE CAR AND WILL THERE BE ANY PUNISHMENT for what she has Caused?? Please I want to Ask sef, HAS ANYONE SEEN THE PICX OF HER DEAD BODY YET AND WHY NOT??
See that abu Ali’s case ehn! Everybody knew about the foul play...from his course mates jealousy alone to being the feared panzer battalion commander... all his course mates were still majors...just leave that matter sha! About the girl! Ugo has answered you... they won’t post the pictures and the person that hit her would probably face manslaughter charges except her family dismisses the case of which I don’t even think the naf will allow..

Come ooo, I hope this is not true?
https://www.nairaland.com/5995087/boko-haram-killed-many-shot
most of these things really happen! The soldier that was arrested knew some very deep truths and that was why his wife was arrested too even when she’s not a soldier and has no business being arrested by the army! Last last if we will do this job marry immediately you commission and start having kids if you can! Service can be terminated anytime...

I remember the story of one of my officer friends from 62rc... we got in together but I was withdrawn at some point and he got lucky he wasn’t withdrawn... very vicious guy! Passionate and feared in the academy. He always got the job done one way or the other. He left the academy and straight to the lines.. he began to challenge a lot of systems there and was always surpassing expectations... he was growing to be very effective in capturing and killing insurgents... he was killed and when his body was examined by other course mates, bullet entry points came from behind and not from front..

Then, it might be our time cos I can't falsify my age and live with such lie all through my life especially in a job where I may lose my life.
it might n out apply to the military! The military would always need to have an age cap to get fresh and young officers in! You think the military will take a 35 year old man for Ssc?

Even the captain that asked them to go and call him was shocked! One adebayo change am for all of us!

No way....
In the army there is what they call age on rank/number of years required to remain in a particular rank. If you exceed that straight retirement. Lt to Captain can't be 7yrs
some people will just think that we don’t know anything and drop lines for us... how can an officer spend 7 years on the lieutenant rank! Wetin Dey preoccupy nAh?

How can one (DSSC) get into this regiment core, I mean, it's not usually listed among it's department; logistics, ordinance etc.
the Air Force Dssc sometimes lists positions for special forces/regiment in their Dssc.... they did 2 years ago

Nope, NDA Graduates takes 6 months to get to Lt, while SSC spend 18 months to get to LT, not 3 years, if not by default graduates of NDA (67RC) would be mates with d current SSC, bur d Current SSC are mates to 3rd term cadet officers of d academy irrespective of the fact that d will get commissioned b4 dem
course 44 got promoted almost 3 years after! It’s no longer 18 months as the hatcos made promotion for rc, Ssc and DSSC 5 years for the military
Course 44 commissioned into the military late 16/early 17... and got promoted in November 2019

Some used to spend 7yrs on Lt rank sef
They first consider RC n SSC, whatever slot that remains will be shared to DSS n EC
You mean an officer will spend an average on 7 years on the lieutenant to captain rank?! I disagree with this
Besides it’s Dssc’s first promotion and ideally, it shouldn’t even take up to 5 the same way SSC move from 2nd Lieutenant to full Lieutenant in 3 years.

Promotion is automatic after 5 years for DSSC officer in d Army (Airforce is 4 years), 25/5= 5 ranks above lt; lt,cap, major, lt Cornel, brig gen.

So deres a possibility or tho, dere r usually some frustration along d line, one may stay in a particular rank more Dan d expected duration due to situations like vacancies, Politics etc
mhen thanks! Army sha get many many problems but God dey

I want to ask a question when please, since Airforce doesn't have SSC like the army, does that mean that it's only RCs that operate combat versles? Like only RCs are combatants.
Chief of air staff is Dssc and he’s a very good pilot! Does that answer your question?
It’s just rare to find Dssc pilots but they’d be a few in service
The same way some of the air force Dssc guys report to the frontlines too..

Boss man I want to ask, does it mean bullet proof is too much for NA to provide for all men in the theatre? Including helmet. Or is it that I watch too much Hollywood movies. Cos American soldiers in the theatre don't even wear normal uniform. All they need is a verse and bullet proof. In that picture, I can see some head shots that helmet should be able to protect at least for the time being. Check out those soldiers with COAS, there are always with bullet proof. And if there are bullet proof, it should be compulsory for all the soldiers. I don't want to here it's because of the heat cos when there are with their bosses, they wear it like forever.

Rip to the fallen heroes.
Did you notice the watermark on the pictures? They are from boko haram cameras... after soldiers are killed, the insurgents go round to make sure everyone is truly dead so they are stripped of their hardware and are shot in the head for confirmation
