Silver1996, There's somethings I've noticed, which I must bring to your attention.

1) Mogula doesn't know the Bible, then why is the princess named Kathrine ?
Because for her to bear that name, the kingdom must have made contacts with White people, as Kathrine is a foreign name. The Bible can't be strange then. Also, that applies to Barabra. Instead, you should have used native names.

2) If Francis is a KARU, he shouldn't be able to understand their speaking. They should be strange in their language or something.
They shouldn't be able to understand English. Kathrine should not be able to understand 'holy holy' , as she didn't attend school.

3) If I am correct, you said Francis fell from a cliff into water, then Ogini saved him. Isn't Mogula an underwater kingdom? Also, when he was still in Akpatu, how did he know about people on the other side?

This is a nice story, and little mistakes we overlook could kill it's vibe. Rectify the ones you can, thank you.

1-First of all, when i started the story, the first time i talked about Mogula(The other side of the world)I said that some people believe no one live there while the ones that believe says the only that leave at the other side of the river were cannibals and beasts..
Secondly the name Katherine was just a name i thought of, i didn't bring up the name, because it was related to bible to connected to the white people, the name just entered my head just the same way the rest did....

2-If i should start writing a different language here, will you understand?..what you need to know is, is just a story,Is not a true life event....
When i started writing about Mogula, i specifically said only ogini was the god they believed in, they worshipped ogini, and when Katherine had the dream, she didn't understand what it meant, this was the reason she ask francis because she assumed he could know the true meaning of the words since he was from the other side of the world.

3-Yes Francis fell from a cliff into the river, ogini saved him,but if you go back to that episode, you will notice he was found on land by the slave hunter, if you remember vividly, Francis was asking how he survived in the water everyone said no one can survived on... Though i will throw more light on that as the story goes on.... So Mogula is not an underwater kingdom...

If you remember vividly, Francis was always asking his father king Godfrey about the other side of the world, just the way i explained when i started, some people believe people exist there while others doesn't because no one has ever been there.. And Francis was one of this believers, even when his father told him there was nothing there, he has always wanted to see for himself if people really exist there, that was his wish, and if you remember when he got to mogula, he said his wish was granted.....
Same thing with Mogula, some people believe people doesn't exist on the other side of the river, people like king Dafuda, do you remember Francis first meeting with king Dafuda, when king Dafuda ask him if people truly exists in his world.....
This are two worlds seperated by a river, they have different perception to live, different ideologies, different livestyle.....

Cleopatra gritted, What was he up to, what are his plans, she knew it is time for her to leave the house, whether he knows she killed his cousin or not, it was too much of a risk to still stay with him, she needs to move, she needs to get out and she needs to do it fast, else she is just going to run into her own grave....

Gently Cleopatra open the gate, she wonder if he was back,the compound was quiet, awfully quiet, she took a deep breathe when she went in and close the gate,she thought about what had happened earlier, that bitch almost get her caught, she exhales deeply when she the thought of her father creep into her head, her mind was unsettled over the fact that her father is in the hand of the chief, she knew for a fact the chief won't hesitate before Killing her father if she doesn't show up as he has said.....

She peep inside wondering if the princess was in,then she saw her sitting on the edge of the bed,something wasn't right with her, she was quiet.. Awfully quiet, she quickly rushed in and close the door...

She was a bit shock when she didn't reply, she was just staring into space like she was lost in thoughts....

Cleopatra drew the face cap closer to her face as she enter the hospital, she prays the chief thug don't see her, she doesn't believe they are here... She peep until she passed, when she was sure she was out of sight, she quickly rushed in, then she begin to look through the window of each rooms, then finally she saw her...
She exhales,she look around, then she gently open the room door and walk in...

She search for any valuable thing but she couldn't find anyone... Has her father gambled all the valuables away... She hissed then she zip up the bag, carry the bag and rushed outside....
Fear prick her spines when she saw their neighbor standing in front of their threshold....

"Where have you been Cleopatra...?The neighbor ask

He studied her expression, his instincts tells him she wasn't happy....."Are you okay...? He ask curiously
His wife suck her teeth, then she nodded shabbily.... "The king is here to see you... "
"The king... ?he repeated.
Why was the king here to see him so early in the morning..... Has he forgotten the people who made him king....
With a mind of curiosity, he left the room and headed to the palour....
Shock swept through him when he saw a man on royal attire gazing outside.... This wasn't the king but why was he dressed in royal attire and wearing the crown in his head.....
"Hello... "He said inclined to see the person's face.....
He took a deem breathe when the person didn't reply,....
"Who are you...? He ask wondering how he got into his house, was he a king from another kingdom .....
He bug out his eyes when the person begin yo laugh....
"Who are you? He ask again, this time infuriated....
But the person didn't still reply, instead he continued laughing....
Chief Ayo curl his lips, as anger boils deem in him, without hesitation, he walk up to him and pulled him around to face him....
Shock engulf him when he saw his face, he lost his balance and fell on the floor.... Fear roam through him, words eluded him for a second, he was there on the ground staring gormlessly at him with pounding heart....
He begin move backward with his hands.....
His heart flew out from him for a moment as the person begin to laugh hysterically.....
"King Godfrey... "Chief Ayo said with shaking mouth.....
Every part of his body begin to tremble at the sight.....
"No, you are dead, we killed you"Chief Ayo said with trembling mouth
He shiver greatly in his spines when he stopped laughing......
When he saw his eyes, something tells him to run for his life, he try to move but he couldn't........
He struggled to stand up but it was like there was a force holding him down... "Please don't kill me, please don't kill me.... "
His body trembled with great fear when he started laughing again, he continued laughing until he wasn't visible, but the laugh still echoes in the house....
Chief Ayo was terrified, with pounding heart, he woke up from the dream..
He breathe heavily as he woke up.... He try to catch his breath then he switch in the light..... "Its just a dream,its just a dream. "
He inhaled deeply....as the dream hit him, he shook in his spines as the dream came clear in his head.
"Are you alright?his wife ask
He look round the room making sure he wasn't anywhere, then he glance at the time in the wall.... It was 2:45am....it was still midnight
He quiver as he try to read meaning to the dream, a dead man appearing to you in the dream was certainly a bad omen, could it be a warning.......
"Are you okay? His wife ask again.....
He took a deep breathe then he turn to face his wife.... "Go back to bed, it was just a dream"
"A bad one i suppose"His wife interjects
"Just go back to bed"Ayo said a bit infuriated...
"Suit yourself.... "His wife said, she lie back on the bed and cover with the duvet...

He exhales deeply at the thought of it, the man was dead, why should he be scared of a dead person.. But the dream was so real.... He was laughing at him, he was laughing as if he has won...

Slowly Williams opened his eyes, then he noticed his phone was vibrating, he quickly pick up the phone.. He sigh when he realise it was Rick calling,he look at hhe guard he was sharing the room with, he was snoring like an old cow, he quickly pick up the phone and move to the door, making sure not to wake him,he unhook the door and move outside....
He took a deep breathe when the phone started vibrating again, he hesitated a bit,look around, when he was sure no one was in sight, he pick up the call....
"Why are you calling me this night? He said calmly
"You haven't been answering my calls, so i thought you will be busy during the days... "Rick voice sounded from the other end
"This isn't the right time either... "William said
"How is she? Rick ask from the other end
William exhales.... "We will discuss this in the morning"
"Just tell me how she is? Rick said
"She is fine"William said with clenched teeth
"I will call you tomorrow... "He added and ended the call without hesitation....
He look around again, then he went in, just then an idea struck his mind, her bodyguard is always with her during the day... But not at night,.. He came out again and close the door gently.... Since he arrived in the palace, if there was something he was good at was nosing around....
He walk carefully, looking at every angle, he wouldn't risk anyone seeing him... He sigh when he got to her door, he wonder how she will react when he knocks on the door.... She will probably shout and that will ruin everything.......
Disappointed, he walk back to his room.....

Cleopatra couldn't sleep, she just continue rolling on the bed, from end to end....she wonder where she will go now, what she will do.... She has taken a decision to go to her father's compound tomorrow, if the chief hasn't got to him, she needs to warn him, at best escape with him.... She stood up from the bed when she realise sleep wasn't reaching out to her.....
She curl her lips then she stare at the joggers and big T-shirt James has given her.... He seem nice, kind of her type but she wonder what he will do if he finds out she was a murderer on the run....
She sat on the chair in the room, the room was nice, too good to be a guest room.....
She knew for a fact she can't continue staying in his house... Sooner or later rumours are going to spread if they aren't started spreading that she is a wanted criminal and his saviour is going to find out, she need to leave but most importantly she needs money, lots of it....

"I went to Carlos house and i was told by his wife he was arrested...... "Chief Ayo said
"Yes, i heard that too, but its nothing to worry about now, its been handled..... ,you look tense, what happened to you...?

"I was in the bathroom.... "Kess said
"Then try taking your phone to the bathroom.... We have a problem... "
Kess expression changed, he certainly doesn't like the word problem.... "What? He ask anxiously
"There is an order for the chief release... "
"What...! Kess exclaimed as he jump out from the chair.... "Whose order is that?
"DPO will be in a better position to answer that.... "Philip replied...
Kess didn't hesitate before walking out of the office and headed for the DPO's....
He didn't even bother to knock when he got therr, he just opened the door...
"Sir.. "he said and saluted
"I presumed you must have heard"Mr Ajayi said
"Sir, that man is a murderer and a criminal.... "
"It wasn't my call, the order came from the IGP himself... "Mr Ajayi said
"We have evidence of his murderous act, we can show it to the inspector general"
"There is no evidence.... "Mr Ajayi interjects
"What, i gave it to you... "Kess said infuriated
"I have been searching for it since i arrived this morning, the evidence is gone..... "
"That can't be true"
Mr Ajayi exhales.... "As much as i don't want to believe it, its true, someone must have entered my office while i was not here"
"We both know you are the only one who have the keys to your office... "
"Are you accusing me of withholding evidence....?Mr Ajayi blared out
"No sir... "
"Look, i don't know how the person got in, but whoever it is, i assure you am going go find out"
"What about the chief, you know the truth, you listened to that recording, you knows he killed that man, if we let him go, we will be releasing a killer who might probably kill again"
"As much as i will like to put this man in jail also, there is nothing we can use to link him the dead of that man"
"Our testimonies can do it. "Kess interjects
"Don't be a fool Kess, you know how the system works, testimonies without evidence will end our career... "
Kess curl his lips, anger boils deep in him, now he knows why the DPO acted the way he did when the arrested the Chief, he is definitely walking for him, confiscating evidence is a crime he wasn't inclined to let slide by. He is definitely going to get to the root of the issue....
"May i take my leave now sir?
"Sure. "
He saluted and left the office, then he saw the chief, a constable uncuffing the cuffs from his hand....
"How did it go over there.. ?Philip muttered to him.
Kess groan deeply, now he wasn't sure who to trust, he felt like he is on his own, Sonia's words rinh in his head.. "Dont trust your partner.. "
He wonder if Philip was involved also, something was for sure, the DPO did this.....
Not minding Philip question, he walked up to Carlos.....
He waited until the constable left with cuffs leaving only him and Carlos there. "I see you bribed your way through"Kess said
Carlos gave him a dirty look... "You fool.. "
"Chief..... "Ted called out from behind him...
Carlos turn his gaze at him..
"The car is ready"Ted added
Carlos turn back his gaze at Kess then he shook his head and started walking outside...

CHIEF CARLOS groan as anger boils deep in him, his eyes were narrowed, rigid, cold, hard,the anger churned within him and it was ready, hungry for the destruction of the person that put it there.....
Fires of fury and hatred were smoldering in his small narrowed eyes as he weighed the pros and cons of the various and creative means available to him for putting that stupid inspector down... Nobody mess with him and go free, the inspector has disgrace him, drag his name to the mud, rub his face on dirt.... He has definitely bitten more than he can chew, he was inclined to show him what he is made of, why the people tremble at the mention of his name....
He groan deeply,he was angry, every muscle in him ache for the dead of the inspector, he was extremely furious, furious as flies in a fruit jar, furious as a hippo with a hernia, furious as a monkey with a migraine, furious as a cat stuck in it's box.
He snarled then grind his teeth......
"Father,what happened..?Desmond ask anxiously....
He wonder who he has killed, why he has killed him, he knew his father, he was genned up on killing......
"Carlos, who exactly have you killed this time? Cassandra hollered from the door....
Carlos flexed his fingers,he look up at his son.... "Son, take your mother home"
"Am not going anywhere, not until you tell me exactly what is going on here, who did you kill? Cassandra blared out
Carlos curl his lips, then he suck his teeth.... "Officers"He shouted
"What's going on Carlos?Cassandra ask again
"What's going on is not something you should be concerned with, am handling it. "Carlos said

He try to ask why he was here, why he was forcibly kidnapped from his own house and brought here....
"I have one question for you and you will give me the answer i want.... "Chief Mayo ask glowering at him
He quivered, wondering what the question is....

His eyes burge out as he wonder what his daughter has gotten herself into.... "i. I. I.. "he stammered very unsure of what to say, he breathed in and out but air wouldn't enter his lungs. Starved for air, his heart raced at tremendous speeds, and his lungs shallowly rose and fell in time.
His eyes met the chief eyes, then he knew the chief wasn't joking, there was this fierce fire in his eyes, a fire that can consume him if he doesn't answer the question.....
He search for words to say but it was blank, words eluded him....
"Where is she? Mayo hollered
"I don't know"he blared out impetuously......
"I haven't seen my daughter for quite a while now, she doesn't visit anymore.. "he added
"Are you aware, yout daughter killed my daughter....? Mayo ask turning away his gaze
Shock engulf him as the words ring in his head, his daughter will never do that, his daughter will never kill......
"My daughter....? He said skeptical of the fact
"Let it be known, if your daughter doesn't show up here in the next 24hours,i will start cutting you pieces by pieces"

Cleopatra wink her eyes... "Your uncle must be rich"

Cleopatra wonder who his uncle is,she was inclined to ask but what is her business, she was most concern on the next step to take but her pursurers discover her location.....
"You are sweating, the bathroom is down there... "James said pointing at the direction.
Cleopatra sniff, wondering what he was up to, as much as she doesn't trust him, there was nowhere left for her to go, she can't go home, that will be the first place the chief will search.... She exhales as she thought of what will become of her father if the chiefs takes him.... She fused her gaze on James, whatever happens, she knew she need to stay with him if she intends to survive.... She is stuck with him....
"I have reserved towels i can get one for you..... "James said
Cleopatra sigh, whatever it will take to survive, she was willing to do it... She gave him a faint smile.... "Thank you.... "
"Your food will be ready by the time you are out"James added...
She smile, a smile that disappeared the moment he left her.....

She exhales deeply as the voice interrupted her deepest thoughts, she turn to face her, then more tears run down her cheek....
"Did he cause you pains too? Edna hoarse voice sounded
She nodded shabbily as she sniff....
"Then you shouldn't be crying, let your tears become rage, save it for the man who has made you cry,dont give up, he mighy have won the battle but not the war.... "Edna said infuriated

Just them they heard footsteps approaching, they quickly pick up their sword as they await the unseen.....

He noticed Vuga was still glaring at him, a part of hum tells him to come down but he knew better.. He watch as she halt and mount the horse,he was unbalanced but he was glad he was with her... The horse walk then she halt again and off the horse ran....
He almost lost his balance as the horse increase his speed...
"You might want to hold on to me... "she said
"What....? Francis ask skeptical of what she said...
"Hold me or you are going to fall off before we get to the palace.... "
Her words cook up fear in him, slowly with heart pounding he wrap his hands around her waist...
Vuga quickly climb on his.... Then he streched his hands shabbily to Adesa, he exhales when Adesa hesitated.... "Do you prefer walking....?
Adesa didn't reply, she just gave him his hands and he pulled her on the horse....
"Aren't you happy to ride with me? He ask when he noticed her expression

He exhales deeply, it was very obvious she doesn't like him..... "Most girls will die to have this moment with me.... "
He sigh when he heard her chulkled, a sigh of relief, without hesitation, he mount the horse.....

"Inspector, why am in still in handcuffs...? Carlos ask

"A suspect, not a murderer.. I advice you use the best word suitable for it"Carlos interjects...
"There is a phone recored of everything that was said in that hut, there is no escaping from this chief, you are going to jail... "
Chief Carlos chulkled at his statement.... "Who is going to send me to jail, you......?
"You seen confident, there is no two way about this, you killed someone, you face the punishment.... Now tell me where is Sonia?
"Didn't your phone record tell you where she is?

"Respect is earned, not forcibly taken, and if he interfere with justice, am taking him in also.... "Kess replied infuriated

Someone needs to stop them, someone needs to bring justice and am not backing down until every one of them is behind bars, every last one of them... "
"You will be asking for war if you do that"Philip said

What was wrong with him, why was he acting so stupid, he scab his eyes around then he realise There was nothing present except the trees and bushes that surrounds them.... They were alone, fate was given him a moment to tell her how he feels, tell her what he has always wanted to tell her since he met her...
"Oh no, you are injured... "Katherine said as she quickly sat up...
"Injured, where.. "Francis quivered, just then he notice he noticed his leg was bleeding, he wonder where he had sustained the injury, then it occurred to him he fell down when he stepped wrongly on his way to save the princess, something sharp must have pierced his leg.. He grimace in pains when he saw his bleeding leg, the sharp object still stuck in, how could he not have noticed he was injured, was he that eager to save the princess... His love for her has certainly blinded his sense of feeling....

"The police just arrested your father.... "Cassandra voice sounded from the other end
Shock swept through him...
"The police... ?he exclaimed skeptical of it..
"Yes the police, they said your father killed someone... "

Both inspectors saluted....
"Can someone explain to me why the chief is locked behind bars like a criminal ?
"Sir, i wanted to tell you but there was no time, i needed to do it fast before he got his tracks covered... The chief killed someone.. "Kess said
"Do you have proof of this? Mr Ajayi ask
"I do sir... "Kess said
Mr Ajayi turn his gaze to Philip... "Does he?
Philip shrugs his shoulders
"It better be a good proof, because if it is not,you will be in for a long trip"Mr Ajayi said then he walked away

She wonder why some people will dig a hole and cover it with grass, what were they up to, was it a trap..
She groan, their hunting has became a race for survival, she wonder where that bush dog has come from.... Why was he chasing them.. She scoffs as she realise it was a bush dog, he must be starving and he resort to the first meal he saw.....
She shiver in her spines when she heard her name, was it her ears deceiving her, she listened carefully as her name sounded again, then she immediately recognise the voice, it was him.... Francis.
"Francis"She shouted back without hesitation....
She shouted again this time very loud hoping he hears her...

INSPECTOR KESS was greatly startled by the gunshots he has heard earlier, he quickly parked his car, confused on what way to take into the bush....he look around wondering if anyone was in sight, when he saw no one, he headed into the bush as directed by Sonia, all the way wondering who fired those bullets he heard on his way.... He walk slowly not wanting to lose sight of the hut she has described on the phone, then it occurred to him to call her, he brought his phone from his pocket and dialed her number, he waitef patiently while it rings but there was no answer, he wonder why she wasn't answering her call..he drop the phone back in his pocket hoping everything was alright.. He move further, wondering the reason she has ask him to come here, she has only ask him if he was still going to offer the help he said he would, she didn't tell him the reason he was coming here or who he was coming to see besides her...
He look around then he saw something that look like the hut she has described, he quickly walk towards the direction... But the place was quiet, too quiet for anyone to be there, he quickly brought his pistol that was stuck between his underwear and trouser band...
Slowly with the gun in his hand, he walk into the hut, shock swept through him as he saw Steve body...
"Oh my God! He muttered and quickly rushed towards him, he touch him then he realise he was dead, he try to remember where he has met him then it came to him, he was the guy he has seen with Sonia in the supermarket.... He grope his eyes around, then he went outside carefully surveying everywhere with his eyes....
"What happened here? He ask himself wondering what must have happened to Sonia, he dialled Sonia number again....
Shock engulf him as the ringing tone sound by, he quickly look around then he saw the phone on the ground, he walk towards it and pick it up, Why was Sonia's phone here, now it was obvious something definitely happened here... She must have dropped the phone unknowingly... He stare at the phone, then he realised it was on the recording as he saw the time counting on the top of the screen, he quickly stopped it, then he click on play... It was on screen recording..
He waited patiently then her voice came up....
He listen as a male voice came up, he look at Steve lifeless body, it must be him talking...
He forward it a little...He quivered when he heard Carlos voice, he backward it when he felt it has gone too far, his instincts was right, Steve must have kidnapped Carlos, then he Called Sonia over...
He listen attentively to everything until it was just dead silence...
"That bastard killed him"He muttered...
He quickly put the phone in his pocket and called for an ambulance....

"Oh Sonia, if it wasn't for Steve who was foolish enough to kidnap me, what exactly where your plans?
Sonia grunts as she remenber Steve's tragic death, she blame herself, she wouldn't have let Steve come with her, she would have given him the bullets, he was right, he was always right, this bastard deserve no mercy, no jail time... What he deserves was a bullet in his brain... With anger flashing through her eyes, she spat on his face.... "I hate you"
Carlos wipe out the spit from his face, without hesitation, he slapped her...
Sonia grimaced... "Is that the best you can do, you murderer... "
Carlos made a faint smile.. "You have no idea how bad am going to hurt you... You will beg for death, death will hide its face from you... "
Carlos laugh hysterically then he turn to face the person who was chained beside her... "Hey Edna, you have a new Companion and a roommate, you wont be bored again"
Just then Sonia realise someone was there, she was so focused on the chief that she didn't notice it,she wonder who she is and how long she has been here, she was laying on the ground, her hair covered a part of her face.....
She watched as Carlos and his thugs leave the room, then she burst into tears as Steve dying moment creep into her head

"Something came up, i will join you there soon"Kess replied as he entered his car, he brought out his pistol and check if it was fully loaded...he drop it back then start the engine and zoom off

"Its a tracker, they are tracking him"
Fear engulfed Sonia as the words ring in her head....
Steve grunts as anger flash through him... "Give me the gun..."He said as he begin to walk towards her...
Sonia shook her head shabbily.

He exhales when he realise he just yell at her... "Look, when his boys get here, its going to be him or us, this is the moment.... "
"The police are on their way.... "Sonia said shabbily
"What, you called the police...? Steve ask infuriated....

Steve grew furious, then he grab her without hesitation and collected the gun from her..
He pointed the gun at Carlos and pull the trigger but it didn't fire, he pulled it again but it didn't, then he turn his gaze to Sonia...
"I remove the bullets"Sonia said with shaking mouth...
"Why would you do that? Steve hollered...
Just then a bullet hit his hand and the gun fell from his hand....
Sonia scream as she run towards him, just then she saw the thugs running towards them...
"The bullets.. "Steve muttered in pains
Sonia burst into tears as the thugs surround them...
Ted loosen the rope from Carlos body,legs and hand..
Chief Carlos took a deep breathe as he flexed his fingers.....
Sonia glared at him as his thugs aim their guns at her.... Then he collected the pistol from Ted
"Grab her... "Carlos said
Two of his thugs quickly grab Sonia, Sonia fought to be freed from their grip but they held her tight making all her fights useless...
"So so amateur... "Carlos said and shook his head, then he begin to laugh hysterically
He turn to face Steve who was trembling in pains... "Great men die because they couldn't handle a simple woman,you were stupid enough to give her the gun"
Steve grimaced then he groan at him.... "Don't even think of hurting Sonia, i will find you to the end of the world and kill you"
"Kill me... "Carlos chulkled at the thought of it... "And the one with the gun with the bullets, dead men don't kill... ,you should have killed me when you had the chance..."
He turn to face Sonia... "Don't start something you can't finish.... "He said, smile at her and shot Steve on the head...
Steve collasped to the ground as his blood splash on the mud wall....he took his last breath and gave up the ghost...
"Steve... "Sonia shouted....
"Take her"Carlos ordered
Bobby grab her by the waist and carried her into his shoulders, then they left there leaving Steve lifeless body......

BOTH BOYS ran faster when the scream increases, they were getting close, the scream more louder and louder as they run deep into the bush, Vuga could feel the rapid beating of his own heart.. His legs were shaking as he ran, he prays nothing happened to them, his sister and Adesa, he wasn't sure how he will feel if something happens to Adesa when he hasn't had the chance to tell her how he feels..he sprang his leg on a wood on the floor, he staggered then he continued running not minding the pains, his eyes met Francis who was ahead of him... His heart raced when the scream drew nearer, just then he caught sight of someone brushing through the bushes.......
"Adesa... "Francis shouted...
Francis stopped when he saw the dog fiercely pursuring her....
Without hesitation Vuga shot an arrow at the dog.....
The dog growl in pains as the arrow slightly hit his skin taking down part of its hair as it hit the ground...
He dog growl faintly then he diverted into the bush with its bleeding body with the first arrow still stuck in his body, the dog was getting weak....
"Adesa... "Vuga called out as Adesa fell on the ground,he quickly rushed to her side and sit her up supporting her with his hand...

Vuga frown wondering she doesn't understand him, why she was so stubborn...
He didn't reply, instead he forcefully carried her in his back.
She screamed then hit his back but he didn't drop her,he just continue walking.....

He chulkled..... "I didn't mean to harm your father, his holier than thou attitude got into our way of business..... "
"You have said enough already, we don't need to hear anymore..."Steve said, then he aim the gun at him....
"Killing me won't get Isaac back"Carlos said
"It won't, but you will join him"He said as he begin to wrap his fingers on the trigger...
"Give me the gun"Sonia muttered with anger flashing through her eyes
Steve gritted.... "You came for revenge, this is the definition of revenge.... Let me kill this bastard... "

A police report must be brought before a gun shot wound is treated..he park the car as he grab the police report from the seat, he quickly came down from the car and close it.. He quickly ran into the male ward, there the driver was still lying down unconscious...
"Here is the police report"The man said giving it to a nurse there ....
The nurse collected it and started walking away..
"Where are you going to, you are supposed to commence treatment now. "The man said slightly infuriated
"Am going to comfirm this"The nurse replied..
The man grunts. "What is even wrong with you people, you have no idea what i went through in getting that report... "
"Sir am just doing my job"The nurse said as she turn to walk away not minding whatever he was saying
"That is how they behave, they don't care if someone is dying... "A boy sitting besides an old man said...
The man exhales then he went to the drivers side.. He glance at his time, he sigh when he realise time was far gone.... ..
He wonder who must have shot rhe driver, was he attacked by arm robbers, he remenber the jeep he has saw earlier on the road, was he the owner of the jeep, he wasn't dress like someone who owns it, he swallowed hard when the drivers phone started ringing, he stare at the caller then he quickly remenber it was the same number he had called earlier, the number the driver had dialled before he collected the phone... ,without hesitation, he answered the call... "Hello"

"The chief always have a tracker in his top button"Ted said then he brought his phone out and Open Gps setting, he set his tracking device....
"He always carrys it for situations like this.. "Bobby interjects
"There he is"Ted said as he look at the location beeming red
"Where is that...? Bobby ask
"The bush... "Ted replied..
"We were right, he is been kidnapped... "Bobby added

CARLOS gave him a faint smile.. "Now i know why Sonia chose you as a bodyguard,you sound like a talented killer, is people like you i need to work with me,together we can rule the world"
Steve scoffs, then his expression change and he grab his aggressively....
Carlos gasp for breathe as he began to choke from his grip...
"You think this is funny"Steve blared out furiously, then he let go of him...
Carlos cough as he try to catch his breath.. "I still don't know why you brought me here, what exactly do you wanted from me, is it a ramson, name your price and ly boys will get the money"
"Are you going to pay me with the money that you stole?
"I may be many things boy but am not a thief"
"You are a thief and a shameless killer"Steve blared out with anger in his tone
"I still don't get what you are driving out"
"Isaac Malo"Steve blared out
Shock swept through Carlos as the name rang in his head.
"Does it ring a bell?
Carlos grunts as the memories of the past begin to creep into his head, that bastard who has refused to cooperate...... "What does he have to do with this?he ask anxiously
"Why did you kill him? Steve ask back
Carlos quickly remenbered what happened on that day, Isaac was about to rat on him, he was at the verge of telling the police everything about their dealings... Isaac was stubborn, he didn't want to join him on looting of money, he chose to rat on him, he chose the wrong side...
He remenbered how envious he was of him, because Isaac was richer and well respected in the farm, while him was just in the lowest rank....
Back then he knew he needed the kind of position Isaac was, he needed his status, there is no day that passes that Isaac doesn't flunt his riches and fleet of cars in front of him, Isaac planted in that seed of envy and bitterness in him... He though of a plan and it was the best plan ever, he set him and he convinced the directors Isaac was planning on selling the company behind their back....
He set a trap for him and he fell for it.... He wasn't as smart as he thought.. Isaac was just a foolish man who doesn't deserve the good things of life...

Carlos flexed his fingers, he vividly remember Isaac had no son then, all he had was a little girl, then how......
"You killed him and took over his position as a co-director"Steve blared out

"Because you made them to, you started killing those who dare to oppose you"
Carlos scoffs"Who are you really, Isaac's relation because i know very well Isaac had no son, I heard his wife passed away a few years later, but the daughter.. "he shook his head..he exhales when he figured it out. "Of course the daughter is Sonia, isn't she, that is why she lied about her father, she isn't Darius daughter but the daughter of my late friend.. "
"I thought you wouldn't figure that out"Steve said
"You aren't her bodyguard, are you? Carlos ask anxiously
"What i am to her doesn't matter, what matter is, her worst enemy is going to die today
"If Sonia is the one who wants me dead, why isn't she the one holding the gun... ?Carlos ask curiously, the he watch took a few steps from him... "She doesn't know you are doing this, does she?,Sonia doesn't want me dead, she is after my wealth"
"Shut up"Steve said infuriated...
"Do you really love her that much that you will want to kill for her, once you kill, you never gets out of it boy.. "
"I said shut up"Steve yelled then he pulled the trigger and the bullet hit the mud wall...
Fear engulfed Carlos as the mud wall cracked, then the pieces collapsed and clatters on the floor some hitting his head as they fell down...
"The next bullet is going to your head"Steve added with rage flashing through his eyes

AS THE Scream grew louder, both boys increases their speed, heart pounding, they run towards the direction of where the scream was coming from...
Francis ran as fast as his legs can carry him all the way wondering what might have cause the shout, where they been chased by someone or a wild animal, he wave off the thought, he wasn't sure how he is going to react if something happens to the princess...
He knew going seperate ways into the bush was a totally bad idea, he wonder if the guards heard the scream as well, he prays nothing happens to the princess...

With great fear in their heart, they ran as fast as their legs can carry them while the animal gave them a chase....
They were just few gaps away from the dog,they increase their cry for help as they ran...
Katherine legs were beginning to fail her, she was tired, tired of running, but this was a race for survival and stopping wasn't an option.. Never an option..
The dog dive but he miss the target, he roared, growled and begin to chase them again, both girls begin to run in zigzag, making sure the dog gets confused on where to turn..
Adesa could feel the pounding of her own heart as she ran faster, she hope someone hear their cry and come for help.... Not looking back she increase her pace as she heard the crocking growling of the dog, she wasn't thinking of stopping, if running was what it takes to survive,she was willing to do it, willing go survive...
Her heart raced to a stop when she heard the princess scream behind her... That was when she decided to turn back...
Shock raced through as she look down on the hole..... "Princess"She shouted..
Fear grip her spines when she saw the dog at the othet side of the hole, pawing out its long teeth.... She wasn't thinking straight, she was confused confused on how the princess must have fallen inside...
"Run Adesa"Katherine shouted from the hole.
"Go now"Katherine added
Adesa couldn't control the tears that fell from her eyes,she isn't going to leave tge princess there alone.. She was inclined to get close to the and take a better view of how she must have fallen.. Then she realized the hole was just covered with branches of trees, she must have stepped on it unknowingly..
"Princess"she shouted
The dog growled furiously from the other side...
The growling sound sent her shaking from her feet, she stare with eye wide open as the dog jump from the other side of the hole... Then she knew she needed to run.. Without hesitation, she started running as the dog gave her a chase....

DESMOND made a faint smile as he saw Claude coming towards him...
He reclined his back on the throne, he doesn't understand why he was still thinking of her, she has literally rejected him multiple times but yet his mind couldn't keep her off..
Claude glared at him as she move closer to him, she was tired, tired of the ill treatment she was receiving, she has kept quiet for too long, she needed to see Rick, to see how he was faring.... "I need to go out"She blared out
"To where exactly?he ask avoiding her gaze...
Claude gritted... "Am tired of been treated like a prisoner, i need my freedom... "
"You will get it the moment we get married... "
"You are delusional.... "She retorted...
Just then theh heard murmuring outside, fear swept through them when they heard the sound of gun....
Desmond immediately stood up,he groan as he saw a guard pushed from the door to the floor...
"Your majesty"The guard shouted as two thugs point a gun at him...
"What is the meaning of this nonsense?Desmond ask infuriated the moment he saw chief Mayo
"I would have killed you right where you stand"Chief Mayo said as he drew closer to him..
"You brought men with guns to my palace, how dare you? Desmond latched out
"How dare you bring such disgrace to my daughter"Chief Mayo hollered back
Claude couldn't take it anymore, she eyed both men and walk away...
"Your daughter is dead, i see no reason for this nonsense.. "
"My daughter is dead because of you, because you couldn't control that thing between your legs, you slept with a common maid, a maid who in turn murdered my daughter to keep her affairs with you a secret... "
Desmond grunts..."You think the maid killed your daughter... ?
"Where is the girl?Chief Mayo ask with anger in his tone...
"What girl..? Desmond retorted..
"Where is Cleopatra...? Mayo hollered
"I have no idea where she is"
Mayo grin"If that girl isn't found in the next one minute, i will start killing everyone, this palace is going to be a blood bath"
Desmond glared at him, just then three other guards were dragged in by Mayo's thug..
Chief Mayo turn to face the guards... "If you want to save your life, bring that girl here immediately... "
Fear engulfed the guards as the thugs fixed the guns on them, they quickly stood up and begin to lead the way....
The rest guards and maids watch in fear as the three guards search for Cleopatra....
"She isn't here"One of the guards shouted...

Rita stood at the palace gate she can't wait to see the moment Cleopatra is dragged out, the chief had told her earlier to go in with him but she had insisted to stay outside since she was banned from setting her foot on the palace... Cleopatra deserve every bit of what she is going to get...
Shock swept through as she saw her running from the gate.....when she noticed no one was chasing her, right there she knew she had escaped but she can't escape from her, with this thoughts she jump in front of her... "Where do you think you are going"She blared out
Cleopatra could feel the pounding of her own heart as she raced to a stop, it was a narrow escaped, she knew that for a fact, she would have been caught if she hasn't ran the moment she saw the chiefs, she knew they were there for her, she had manage to grab a knife from the kitchen, she was inclined to stab anyone that gets in her way of escape..
"You can't run away from your end Cleopatra... "Rita said..
Cleopatra glared at her, anger raced in her eyes, without hesitation, she stab Rita with the knife... Her heart raced faster as she heard the gateman shouting she was outside right there she knew it was her or them... "Bitch. "She muttered with rage and left the knife inside her...
Rita grimaced in pains as she collapsed slowly to the ground, she gasp for blood as blood gushed out profusely from her stomach.....
Cleopatra ran faster whenbshe saw the thugs chasing her... She wasn't sure what to do, without hesitation, she ran into the road when she saw a vehicle coming...
The driver of the vehicle quickly match on the brakes to avoid hitting.....
"Please help me, some men wants to kill me.. "Cleopatra said with clenched teeth
The person stare at her a bit skeptical of her story, then he saw the thugs running towards his direction with guns in their hands, he quickly open the car door for and she rushed in, he started the engine and sped off..
The thugs begin to shoot at the car......
The man increases his speed as a bullet hit the back of the truck...
The thugs continue shooting until the car disappear out of sight...

SHE GRUNTS as the words drop from her mouth, she bit her lip as the chief stare at her,she wonder if he believes her....
"What did you say? He ask her as the word rang in his head..
"I know who killed your daughter?She said, this time with more confident..
Chief Mayo turn away his gaze from her and took few steps away from her"Who did it?
She inhaled deeply, fighting off the fear in her eyes... "A maid did it"
Chief Mayo turn his expression at her again"What maid"
She swallowed hard"Her name is Cleopatra... "
"Cleopatra.. "He murmur....
"Why should i believe you?he ask
"She slept with your daughter's husband, and she killed so she won't revealed her secret, she knew she is a dead meat the moment you find out.. "
"Does the king know of this? Chief mayo ask anxiously with rage flashing through his eyes
"I believe not Chief"
"Where is this maid?
"The bitch is at the palace"

"So how did find out where i am? Sonia ask as they walk on the corridor
Inspector Kess grin, then he remenbered how he has search for her, he figured it out, a lady like her who print such a newspaper can't possibly stay in a house but a hotel and what other hotel than the most prestigious one in the community.... The one and only ODUS hotel...
"I did my home work.. "He said shabbily...
She look at him and force a smile on her face..."Which is?
He chulkled... "I realise you wouldn't be staying in a house but a hotel, so i decided to ask around and my questions led me here"
She opened the room door,pushed it open and walk in..
Inspector Kess just stood outside waiting for her to signal or ask him to come in...
"Don't tell me you came all the way here to just stand at my door front"She said
He giggled and walk in shapily....
She close the door behind him wondering what she is going to tell him when he starts asking questions, questions that must have brought him here..
"Nice room"He said as he sit on the chair... He bit his lips as he scan his eyes round the room...
Sonia exhales, Steve sudden disappearance has given her much thought already now the inspector....
"So do you care for anything...? She ask
He shook his head.. "Just water"he added with a shrugged shoulder
Her expression wasn't the same way it was when he first met het, something has changed about her, maybe his appearance in front of her has made her change but he needed to hear the truth, the truth about what the chief did to her.......
"Just water... "She repeated

FRANCIS was exhausted, tired from the walk, he scratched his hand as the sharp leaves bruise through it... What was the point of continuing with the search for a big animal when there was not even a small animal in sight...
He stood and took a deep breathe, he wonder why the idiot wouldn't stop, now he was beginning to believe what the princess said... He has never caught any animal that is the reason he was so persistent, so optimistic, but it seems his persistence and optimism was a blind one and he has refused to accept the fact that he has failed, he lost his chance of catching an animal the moment he let that baby deer go....
"This is fruitless, we have been walking for ages and yet no sign of an animal, doesn't that tell you something... "He said stopping to catch his breathe
"If you are tired, you can leave, i will find the animal myself.... "Vuga retorted
Francis sigh.. "How exactly will you do that, look at the big picture, there is no animal today... "
Vuga didn't reply, he just continue groping his eyes around...
"Are you even listening to me...? Francis blared out..
He waited for his reply but he gave none, this was a different Vuga entirely, the Vuga he knew would have instantly reacted to his words but this one was so focused, he imagined what it means to always lose to your sister. A female.
"Alright fine, am going back... "He turn to walk away but he couldn't, where was he going to start from, he wasn't even sure if he can remenber the path they took while coming... He grunts then turn to face him, just then he heard a scream.. He let go of all thoughts so he could listen again but nothing came... He exhales, even his own ears were beginning to make mockery of him for been so tired and been sluggish but he can't help it, he was exhausted, extremely tired and worst of it all, he was hungry...
He came back to his senses when he heard the scream again...
"Did you hear that? Vuga ask
Now he was sure it wasn't his ears deceiving him, the scream came again, this time louder, then they heard the words HELP..
"Oh no... "Francis muttered as he quivered in his spines.... "Its the princess"He added with mouth shaking
"And Adesa... "Vuga added...
Both boys stared at each other then they dash out into the thick bush without hesitation...

He was furious, rage triggers in his eyes, he breathe heavily as he let out the smoke from his mouth, then he jump down from the tree and walk into the mud hut.. There he was still unconscious, he carried the bucket of dirty water, without hesitation he poured it in his face...
He watch as he cough trying to get his self back...
"Wakin wakin.... "Steve said shabbily
Chief Carlos gasp for breathe, he try to wipe the water from his face then he realised his hands and legs were tied with a rope...
He turn his gaze to him, then he glared at him..
"Hello Chief"Steve said
"How dare you... "Chief Carlos muttered greatly infuriated...
Steve grin, then he drop the bucket....
Carlos stare around, wondering where he is... "Where did you bring me...?
"Your place of death.... "
Carlos scoffs"Do you think you can kill me?
"You are still alive because i want it so, but it won't be for long"
"You and Sonia, who are you working for? Carlos ask anxiously
"We work for no one... "
"So it's you who want me dead, i don't remember doing anything to you"
Steve scoffs"You don't remember a lot of things but there is plenty of time to remind you, if it is me who wants you dead, you would have been dead a long time ago"
"So its Sonia then"Carlos interjects..
Carlos waited for his reply, when he gave none he continued... "I haven't done anything to Sonia, all i have done was support her and partner with her..."He added trying to remember where they have crossed path that she will want him dead
"You low life bastard, you takes lives without even remembering the names of those you have killed"Steve retorted..
Carlos tried to free his hands from the rope but the rope was tight, too tight to be freed from... "Look i have no idea of what you are talking about, but we can work something out, whatever amount that Sonia or anyone must have paid you, i will triple the amount... "
Steve smile then he drew nearer to him.."What if we do it this way, i go to the palace and kill your two sons, then i go to your house,i heard your wife is beautiful, i rape your wife and when am done, i kill her then return here to give you the exact kind of dead that you deserve , how is that for a negotiation...?
