Be honest, if you had a property there, would you have supported the expansion? The one that El-rufai did in the mid 2000s, some people never got compensated till date.

Then let's do the right thing. Compensate the victim and be honest about it, simple. It's common sense. E no dey kill. Its only a matter of time, we will need to expand that road one way or the other.

People of Nairaland who are familiar with Maraba-nyanya route, please educate me on why that portion was excluded from the expansion of the road. Please don't tell me about the plazas on the sides of the road because that doesn't make any sense. Are we not supposed to be thinking ahead? Will those plazas suddenly disappear in the future for the road to be expanded?

If we are to rank the countries of the world according to how confused her people are, I bet you Nigeria will top the list. Do people really think at all in this country? The author made mentioned of how countries that are forcing us to remove subsidies are subsidizing their own people and yet people just choose to ignore that part. Are we not supposed to ask them why they are subsidizing their own people while asking us to stop ours? Oh yes we talked about corruption as if the people involved in it will just disappear from the county because subsidy is gone. I laugh in Swahili. These guys will go after the money no matter where you divert it to.
We should be talking about stiffer laws and enforcement and not chasing shadows and always looking for easy way out of things. Obi, Atiku, Tinubu will not change anything in this system where people even admit commiting financial crime on TV and still go scut free.

Voting Obi ll be of good advantage to the south cos I know many now hate APC beyond repair. But the real culprits are PDP. They are behind ENDSARS protest, recent razing of banks and protests on new notes etc. They are snakes that hides under Obidients to attack APC.
PDP is a demonic party that should not be allowed to come back to power. They even paraded a terrible and corruption candidate called Atiku abi na Atiku. He's a 76 year old fossil that has nothing upstairs except to sell nations assets and privatisation within him and his cronies.

Let me focus on that one since it's very fresh. Atiku was caught in audio explaining to his aide who exposed him that SPV means special purpose vehicle; a code name for companies they create to divert untraceable funds in form of contract and escape EFCC gallows

3. Atiku doesn't believe in PPP (Public-Private Partnership), he rather believes in outright privatization. Tinubu achieved most of the things he did in Lagos through PPP such as Lekki free trade zone, Lekki Deep Seaport, BRT, Eko Atlantic etc but Atiku will sell everything off without looking back just as he supervised the sale of over 145 FG investment. No reasonable human should press his thumb to vote for Atiku, joblessness under Buhari will be a joke! While Atiku was selling off all these Tinubu was creating more jobs in Lagos through PPP.
He outrightly stated in 2019 that he will sell of NNPC to his friends that his friends deserve to be rich.

4. Atiku doesn't care about healthcare in Nigeria too. He believed in flying out for treatments when he could develop our health sector. He's indeed the Buhari Promax.

5. It's the turn of the south, not the north. The north ruled the most in Nigeria if you add military era there. The north has almost 44 years and the south has 19 years altogether.
The scarcity of fuel that has besieged Nigeria since last year, new note policy etc are part of plot of PDP and APC cabals to enslave Nigerians and manipulate things. If APC is wicked, PDP is demonic.
I advise Nigerians to look towards Obi on Saturday. If we disliked APC, we shouldn't go to those that are worst than them that's called PDP. SAY NO TO ATIKU, SAY NO TO NORTHERN DOMINANCE IN MODERN POLITICS. THE SOUTH SHOULD UNITE.

This is unnecessary please. Let people vote their choice, that's why it's called democracy. Am beginning to get scared of what some people will do if Obi doesn't win.

Experience wise Atiku still has and edge over the other presidential candidates but will that translate to good governance if he wins, time will tell.

You're 💯 correct but SOME of them will never listen to advice. Obi is a decent candidate. Even if others are throwing insult just look the other way and market your candidate they won't listen. Advice them to play politics differently as Obi we support is a different breed of politician they will insult life out of you.

Aside from Obi and a few Labour party candidates I have researched, most of the others are bunch of disappointment. To think that my friend was arguing that Obidients must vote Labour party from top to bottom gives me serious concern.

I just pray for the best for my country Nigeria.
