Ahead of 2023, group of Nigerians in foreign countries under the aegis of Nigerians in Diaspora Network whose membership cut across Europe and America have opened a campaign office in Germany in support of the presidential ambition of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.

Speaking during the world press conference organised by the group in Germany, the spokesperson for the group, Engr Odijie Irabor, noted that the country needed a leader with charisma, character, and quality that will unite the nation across ethnic and religious lines.

At the campaign head office in Oberhausen, Germany, the president of the group mentioned that the governor of Kogi State has shown the needed qualities to lead the country from 2023 moving forward and therefore calling on all Nigerian citizens home and abroad to join hands in birthing a new Nigeria that will guarantee the needed security and economic growth

He said the position of the governor in the aspect of fighting insecurity, youth and women inclusion in governance; education development and others caught international attention, hence, the endorsement.

*BELLO AMBASSADORS: THOUSANDS OF NASSARAWA STATE SUPPORTERS TROOP OUT FOR GOV. YAHAYA BELLO*

The Bello Ambassadors Network, BAN, a socio-political movement for grassroot mobilization for the actualization of a youthful and responsive 2023 presidency, has today inaugurated the Nassarawa State leadership structure and volunteers.

The inauguration ceremony was done in keffi, Nigeria.

The state and local government area executives and coordinators were inaugurated and commissioned to commence immediate mobilization of the Nassarawa people for the Gov. Yahaya Bello project.

The National Coordinator of the Organisation, Anthony Edogbo, thanked the people of Nassarawa for coming out to support Bello Ambassadors Network and the 2023 youthful agenda.
He described how Governor Yahaya Bello transformed the security situation of the state, empowered security agencies to earn second most state in the country and most security conscious Governor; noting that Yahaya Bello would replicate same giant strides when he becomes President of the country by 2023.
The National Coordinator called on the people of Plateau to join hands together to support the agenda of BAN.
The Director of Special duties highlighted the many achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello saying that he would do same as President of Nigeria come 2023.
The Nassarawa state BAN coordinator, Hon oyibo Halidu thanked the leaders of the Organisation for bringing the great initiative to Nassarawa state, stating that the people of Nassarawa are passionate about the youthful agenda and the Governor Yahaya Bello leadership qualities.

The volunteers and leaders promised to work to bring at least two million Plateau indigenes to the network.

The event was attended by Coordinators of Niger state,FCT,Plateau and the North Central zonal coordinator including the chairman of All united campaign group for Gov Yahaya Bello Hon. Saidu Bobboi as well as youth and women organisations.

Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello on Saturday, receives in audience, the General Overseer of The Redeem Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye in his office, Lugard House, Lokoja.

Pastor Adeboye said governor Bello has demonstrated his faith in God particularly his stands on the Corona Virus noting that it was only a man of faith that can act the way the governor did. Adeboye also commended the governor for his non-religious and detribalised disposition while thanking him for building the first Christian Chapel in the Government house since the creation of the state about 30 years ago.

“we have heard and seen your show of faith in God particularly in dealing with the Corona Virus. It takes the man of faith to have acted the way you did and we are very very pleased with you. We have also heard the news of how you’ve been relating to people of every faiths to the extend that you built the first chapel in the government house, Lokoja, we are delighted, Sir. I want to assure you that we will keep on praying for you, we will keep on praying for the people of your state and i believe that the Almighty God will answer our prayers for you. Thank you fro granting us audience” Adeboye said.

In his remarks, the governor who referred to the clergy man as his father thanked him for choosing to visit him just barely after the demise of his son whom the governor referred to as his brother.

…group hails his achievements as governor

The Arewa Youth Forum (AYF) has called on Governor Bello to submit himself for national service and contest for the number one seat of the country in 2023 adding that the group alongside many other young Nigerians were tired of recycled bandwagons ruling the country.

The Group made this known on Saturday through its President General, Comrade Gambo ibrahim Gunjungu when they paid a courtesy visit to Governor Bello at the Government House in Lokoja.

He expressed that the group after its research came to the conclusion to make the call on Governor Bello to run for President in 2023 as they were proud of his numerous antecedents in Security, Infrastructure, youth and women inclusion in governance as well as his firmness against the politicization of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The President General asserted that they like many other young Nigerians wanted to change the narratives of political band wagon and recycled politicians hence were looking up to him as the hope of Nigerian youths

He added that they were discussing with their patrons and already had the network it would take to propagate their message all over the nation.

Governor Bello in his remark called on citizens across the nation to continually support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari noting that the President was doing his best to proffer solutions to the different challenges the country was faced with.

He added that the discuss and the events of the 2023 election was for the almighty God to decide reiterating that there must be a country before the talk of leadership in 2023 would be appropriate

Governor Bello noted that one of the platforms which the president has created was him leading the way in the creation of the All Progressive Congress, adding that in recent times the call for Nigerians particularly the youths to revalidate and register as members of the APC was an affirmation of his good intentions.

He added that his responsibility as the Chairman of this committee was not limited to any individual as the APC platform was made opened for every persons to add their own quota while some new entrants would be refined to learn the party’s modules of operations.

The Governor opined that despite the numerous challenges which his administration faced at inception it has in five years changed the story of the state from unity and integration, infrastructure, boosting security, institutional reforms and other areas owing to its honesty, resilience and tenacity in right doing.

He charged the AYF to encourage Nigerian youths to Participate in the ongoing registration and revalidation exercise of the APC noting that only through such effort could they be empowered to take leadership from those few persons who were dragging the nation backwards.
