It wasn't just Van Dijk even Allisson, Taa and Robertson. But Van Dijk was the crucial member, he brought everone together. Then he and Allisson had a stellar understanding. That's why when Allisson was around, Van Dijk didn't full on mark players, he runs back at an angle allowing Allisson to cover the other side. This keeper isn't Allisson, and he may not trust him or he may not trust Van Dijk. That's why Van Dijk marks more. Watch whenever Allisson returns and Fabinho starts, Van Dijk will not run to mark anybody.

They scored an early goal from our mistake and you guys are calling for the head of Valverde .

We actually played well today and the coach made some important changes. Semedo, Authur, De Jong , Messi and Lenglet really performed well. They missed lot of chances in the first half and we also did. They played fast counter attacking football and yet we are able to contain them and totally over powered them in the second half. We should appreciate the boys and the coach and stop all this funny comments.
