Leyqute:If only that inexperienced ref gave Kompany his deserved red, Leicester might have won. This weekend will go down as one with the worst officiating since the beginning of time. |
Leyqute:I want us to win. Oh boy, did you just see KDB's goal? It left me speechless. |
Chelshit winning, Man Shitty winning. Loserfool winning. Assanal won. United, anything less than a win and thunder will fry una blockos!! |
Omo, this Salah guy is an enigma. Best signing of the season. He reminds me of Torres' first season when he lit up the PL. what a wonderful player. And he came cheap for that matter. I feel bad. ![]() |
diggz:He'll start telling you about how Kompany has played under 4 top coaches like Benzema and deserves not to be redcarded. ![]() |
agrovick:Thief. A. Orji whose death I'd personally have shed tears of joy while celebrating, says Hi as senator after wanton pillaging of his state's coffers. ![]() |
Nihilist:You've said it all. I came to the realisation of the emboldened about 5 years ago when my cousins and I were arguing about the corruption in this country and how best to possibly curtail it. After hours of arguments, an uncle of mine that resides in Germany while passing us said, "have you guys ever reason this, a Nigerian man here in Naija, will drive recklessly, park his car anywhere he wants, get drunk and drive above the given speed limit, yet no punishment whatsoever. He does this on the daily. Now, this same serial defaulter travels abroad and suddenly, he obeys the rules and regulations of driving. He doesn't get high while driving. He watches where he parks and how he parks. He's watchful of his speed to avoid facing severe punishment from the law. Why the sudden change? Did he become a saint overnight? If he did, how come he flouts all those laws once he's back driving in Naija? Nigeria doesn't need saints, or pastors, or imams or whatever nonsense "good people" means. When our leaders are ready to fight corruption, they will." On that day, I learnt a valuable lesson from his description. |
agrovick:Is it not in this country that vacancies at CBN was never advertised openly, but was allocated to the families and friends of those with connections and at corridors of power? After all the public outcry, were they removed? In this country where one can loot a billion naira, pay a fine of 100 million and get released to enjoy the remaining 900m? Without a system in place to truncate illegality and reward legality, we're fighting a lost battle. I don't have a single hope for Naija. |
With the truth spoken, I've to say I wanted Spuds to lose woefully today, not just through this means. Anyway, lose na lose, let their woes continue. We need to win and keep them off our backs. Up Assnal ![]() |
CapitalCee:Coz Ozil dey shine today? Bros, if Ozil decides to wear his Mhiki garb, I swear his name will even "disappear" from the team sheet. Both of them are ghosts. |
DopeJemi, people have already spoken my mind. Being upright in Naija no worth am. There's no system in place to reward you for doing good. In the long run, most people will likely lose out trying to be upright. |
How can managers not criticise referees without getting punished, but a referee can make disgusting decisions that can alter the course of a match and not get exiled? |
May a thousand and one warthogs răpe each and everyone in the English FA should United suffer this kind of harsh and shocking officiating from the useless referees in EPL, and Mourinho decides to lash out and criticise the referee, only to get sanctioned. This is broad daylight robbery against Tottenham, imagine if it's United now, we no for rest. Two illegitimate goals, one from an offside position, and one from a ghost foul that never happened. Kokaneprodigy, if I see you accuse any team of being PDP, we go fight that day. |
dopeJemi:That dolt is so annoying. I wish I fit lay my hands on him in real life. ![]() |
hensben:No, it's not called passion for any country. It's called COLOSSAL STUPIDITY OF EPIC PROPORTIONS. A wise player would have taken the route of other England players that refused to play in a meaningless friendly. Those players that pulled out of the squad for the friendly matches are returning very fit for their clubs, but Jones as usual, refused to free of foolishness. What has he got to prove in a meaningless friendly match with him still nursing an injury? People that needed such matches are the likes of fit Martial that's been ostracised from the France line-up for a while now. Why didn't Drinkkunu play for England but rather chose to be fit for Chelsea? Why didn't Kante risk his health to play against Roma in order to show this dumb "passion"? Instead like the wise tortoise, he chose to be fit and not risk exacerbating an injury that was not fully gone yet then. That's wisdom. Foolishness and madness is very different from passion. Passion doesn't mean putting yourself in a risky zone that will derail your career. After all, it's his performance for club that will get him a spot in the national team. I dey very pissed for that injury to our best defender, abeg no come carry your opata yarns come add to my vexation. Take your time before thunder fires you before kick-off. Mtcheew!! |
diggz:Buwahahahaha. Them don throw sub wey catch Diggz. ![]() Egbon, no lie, you dey among the awon likers and sharers.

MaziOmenuko, there was no need of hiding the videos. Partying is an age-long tradition on here. Even though this partying has been very long, it's all part of the fun, and we'll definitely reciprocate when it's time. So, let the guys have their fun. It's our way of life. Don't kill the Vibe. |
Nihilist:My TV is down, and my Internet can't access details about yesterday's matches in general, so I don't know what you're talking about. ![]() |
![]() ![]() Hay God. Which kain madness be this. Bia, grandfather Diggz, who tell you say party dey happen 24 hrs? Even papa Nihilist don take his shayo-filled body back home to take care of his family. Great grandfathers like Natęevs and Íbime no party here, you dey wait make I spell am out for you say party no suppose even dey at all for this sacred thread? Ordinary 1-0 una wan cause armageddon for this kaban. When una lose 3-0 we no disturb like this.Just 1-0 na em una no wan make we rest. We never even read post-match analysis and arguments before una laid here to waste. Respect your old age. Even your grandchildren dey NL, yet you dey party in the afternoon. Na this kain legacy you wan leave for them? At a ripe age of 82, you still party like a rock star. ![]() I don't even recognise this thread again. This thread looks more like YouTube than a United NL thread. Whoever it was that started this party madness, or whose idea led someone to start it, the thunder that will strike him still dey try cross Seme border. ![]() |
Football is not all about tactics alone. You can spur the team and instill a kinda mentality that will see them play as champions. Create a belief that brings out the winning mentality in your lads. Under SAF, we're renowned for coming back from Jaws of defeats to draw or win matches that nobody thought we'd win. Nowadays, such mentality is almost gone. When was the last we won or draw a top match from losing position? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vJ0kzxf54o Classic match during SAF time with us, Chelshit went 3 goals ahead, but the lads fought back to draw. SAF was more than a coach, he knew how to inspire the players to fight for every point. Nowadays, our comeback fire has been extinguished. |
diggz:That Bakayoko own shocked me as well. If he'd scored that early, it'd have been game over from the onset coz we dont know how to fight from a goal down anymore. Honestly, the better team won. We deserve to lose by bigger margin. No excuses from me. |
diggz:I'm kinda glad that Morata didn't punish us well. If he's on form today, he'll tear us apart. Imagine say na Jesus, Sane and Sterling had those chances, na 5-0. |
Chelseafan1:I know, that's why I said "trolling apart". |
Elxandre:Give Man City this Chelsea and it'd be worse than the 1-0 they gave them. This team is not on form, this was the best time to attack them but we lacked the belief as always. Our mentality is our greatest enemy. |
Chelseafan1:Bro, trolling apart, if Lukaku had the chances Morata had, he'll score. Tell me one clear chance our players gave Ukaku? We're carved open with ease countless times, if Morata was world-class, he'd răped us non-stop. |
I know Ukaku is not a top striker, always knew, but there's so much he can do. The way a team plays can help a striker. Morata had about 4 chances, scored one and wasted the remaining. Ukaku had NONE. Mhiki was ghosting. Our midfielders did nothing. They couldn't provide shît. Our midfielders was dominated. No chance at all. Against Tottenham, we played a more attacking and balanced footie, Ukaku didn't score but had a better match. With Rashford and Martial helping him out in attack, and Val and Young helping out in their wing-backs role, less pressure and monitoring was on him. Today, no supply whatsoever. When we decided to attack, we went the long ball route. Before the season started, I complained about our LB and RW, right now, our CM/AM position needs a good addition, coz Pogba might not be fit all the time. It's too bad our midfield play has suffered coz of one guy alone. |
Leyqute:Exactly. We do this all the time in away matches against top teams. How about going for the kill from the onset in order to demoralise our opponents and kill the game? Or even draw your opponent out and counter them? Why wait till we're behind to attack? Makes no goddamn sense!! |
Lana1:He's not a top striker, I agree. But the difference is that Morata got space to nod but Ukaku had no supply at all. Even Morata has missed good chances today, how many have Ukaku seen? |
Average Chelsea with two not fully fit DMs, yet we couldn't put them under immense pressure and win or draw. If we had wanted a draw, attacking them could've still guaranteed us that. Onto the next one jare. |
I thought that was a goal. |
Lana1:Last season with 4-man defence, they had the space to rip us apart. Pep will play 3-man defense but instruct his players to squeeze the life out of Chelshit players. Sane, and Sterling will press them while KDB and Silva will recycle possession and Chelshit will be forced to defend. It's Mourinho's tactics that's at fault. Attack Chelshit, 3 man or not, we'll win. This team is not that good presently. |
eph12:I agree with you, but a change in tactics and a philosophy to attack can help. Against Spurs, Martial said something which I noticed in Rashford before he was substituted. He said Mourinho told him to run in behind Ukaku. What this meant was that both Rashford and Martial didn't stay too much on the wings but ran at the CBs which gave Ukaku the chance to to avoid having 3 CBs on his neck. Ukaku was able to come into the AM position with Rashford and Martial acting like a SS. What we saw was Ukaku's best performance in weeks. But in this match, Rashford is more in the wings while Mhiki is a ghost. Ukaku is not getting any supply at all. Last season, we played two fast CFs that gave their CBs a torrid time, and we won. Our tactics change when we play at home. But once we go away, we act like pussies. |
