Headmaster055: It was a lovely morning when I was called to report for an interview that was slated for 8am the next morning.....I was filled with joy for the opportunity to even be invited...I was unable to sleep throughout the night...I was busy wondering how it will look like and the nature of questions to expect...finally the day was here, I dressed up in my brown long sleeves packing shirt on top of my black trousers and my black shoe....I complimented it with my black slim tie...I was there before 7:30am. I went to the receptionist to ask for direction....she told me to sit down...while sitting I was praying and wondering how the interview will look like. A man came to where I was siting down....initially I thought he was the one that will interview me...not knowing that he too is an applicant like myself. I was there sitting until around 10:30 when a slip was passed round for us( 5 ) to fill our names and signature, later I was called in to a big hall with three persons for interview......it was tough...I was sweating.....but thank God....all went well....still expecting their call....Pray for me guys. Guy,i pray u get the job but stop creating thread on personal issues like this because you'll never know whether your employer are here reading this |
Education › Re: 10 Ways To Become A Scholarship Winner. by sinola(m): 8:48am On Sep 04, 2016 |
Microflux: There are many scholarships available, and most of them does not require you to prove you’re the most academically gifted person on earth or a genius. But they are incredibly competitive. So how do you make sure you get the scholarship or bursary you deserve or wish for? Sometimes you have everything you think you needed to win a scholarship but it doesn’t just come your way. Winning a scholarship not just only depend on your academic vibrancy. Scholarship programs organizers do not test brilliancy but intelligence, they believe anybody can be brilliant but anyone that is intelligent must be brilliant. So you just find out that after your sleepless nights on a scholarship exam you do not make the prize mark. Disgusting? Sometimes ago, in an MTN foundation scholarship, two weeks after receiving the entry of students, they sent a mail to the entrants, to write an essay on how Technology can help the Nation’s situation. Many brilliant student couldn’t make the mark because that intelligence – which I can call the outright application of brillancy. So I will highlight some you need to do, to increase the chance of winning your next scholarship. 1. Get the basic Requirement What do I mean by this? For you to have a chance of applying for any scholarship, there are some basic requirement that must be fulfilled. Like “you must be an undergraduate, you must have a CGPA of 3.0” and the likes, also age bracket. When all this are obeyed, then you are a step into winning that scholarship. 2. Be Ready Luck, they say is when preparation meets with opportunity. The first thing must do is to prepare for opportunities you hope for. You first start searching for opportunity but when you’re prepared, opportunity will locate you. Search for scholarship related materials online, past questions and the likes, exploit them. 3. Be Passionate Passion is the soul of all business. Do just do or apply for scholarship exams because you need the Money, but do it because you need to. Know that you are in for it, be ready for the task, stress, night reading. Burn the candle and feed your passion. 4. Position yourself for Opportunities Being positioned means bean at a place where opportunity can locate you. Mingle with friends with like dreams, consult people whom have threaded the same part. Get needed knowledge for every scholarship. Subscribe for update on scholarships on several related websites and platforms. 5. Apply for as many as you can You know, it takes time. But “it’s free money!” Check all the scholarships you are eligible for. Double-check you have all the right documents to prove your case, and get someone read over your supporting essay or letter. It’s always good to get another point of view. Don’t depend only on youself, no matter how brilliant you’re. 6. Be confident If the application requires a letter or essay explaining why you deserve the scholarship, don’t be shy. List all your relevant achievements – not just academic results but also community. Believe you can win it, don’t doubt sin ce loosing will not affect you in any way. 7. Engage yourself in Riddles solving As I said earlier, what scholarship organizers wants to test is your intelligence not your idea of physics or government. So any riddle question you can lay your hand on, do well to solve them. I was once to attend a scholarship exam, on my way, I bought a magazine, Imin which I saw a riddle at the back page but u shunned it. It was pathetic when I got to the exam hall, that was the only question in the exam paper. I failed!!! 8. Check information on Scholarships periodically Visit websites which specializes in scholarship often, to know if there is any available scholarship and for updates on scholarship you applied for, or intend to apply for. 9. Believe in yourself My last scholarship I won-even if it’s a token was done by someone who believes in me. I only got to know few hours before the interview. I did not panic, but believed I have nothing to loose. I did the interview and won. But at the end if the interview the interviewer told me “Your Confidence win it for you” 10. Believe in the Supreme Being[GOD]
You understand better.
If you can do all this, nothing will be able to stop you in your march to scholarship glory.

Mrdecent: RIDICULOUS WAY MY NEIGHBOUR IS FEEDING HER CHILDREN. I live among mostly the illiterates and less have .I always love to relate with them and know their problems in other to see how I could help especially in the area of their education ( not that I am that rich oh but at least I am a bit more enlightened than them ) So after the last Sunday service I went to meet this neighbour of mine .we were discussing how the country economy has been affecting individual . it was at that point the woman told me something that was very shocking . she said since this issue of increase in rice price ,that she has been “applying brain” to the consumption of the rice . The woman lost her husband years ago leaving behind 5 young children . she said her children love to eat rice a lot hence the reason for the application of wisdom . She said ,she would buy like 5 cups of rice ,then buy one cup of pepper . she said ordinarily ,they are supposed to cook 7 cups of rice . she said thou the food may look small when served but before they could finish the rice that the children would have been satisfied after the intake of a lot of water . she said most times there are always left over for the other time . she also told me that she applies that method to other food like beans and soup . I was shocked and I have been thinking on how I could help them out from such predicaments . This is a serious issue in this country oh. I know we are going to overcome last last

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Should I Pay Him N500,000 For A Job? by sinola(m): 10:42pm On Aug 19, 2016 |
judeibro: I graduated since 2012 and have been searching for job since then. Though I stopped the search and I am gathering money from a small laundry business I am running to see if I could raise enough money to register to be a bet agent and start a bet shop this new football season, together with MMM hustle. On thursday last week precisely, I ran into an old course mate of mine who is now a customs officer, he was even on his uniform. I was surprised and inquired how he got into Nigeria customs knowing how difficult it is getting in there. He gave me detailed gist about an Hausa man who happens to be a top customs officer, he met three years ago in his business center, helped him got the job. We exchanged contact and he promised to contact the man to see if he could assist me to get one of the replacement slots.
The issue now is that he introduced me to the man as promised and I got to contact the man and he gave me his official email account and instructed I send my CV and photocopies of my credentials to him via email, which I did. Today he called me to tell me, he has 4 slots for replacement scheduled for October, (that some officers who are due for retirement will be leaving by the end of september) that I should pay him N500,000 (five hundred thousand naira),N50,000 (fifty thousand Naira) down payment and N450,000 when I get my appointment letter and start work. I contacted my friend and he told me I shouldn't worry, that he will loan me the N50,000 to pay him, but I should hustle the remind balance to pay him immediately I land the job.
My friend has sent the N50,000 into my account today to my greatest surprise, but I don't know where to get the balance N450,000 b4 the end of september and I don't want to go back to my friend that just assisted me with N50,000. I need advice if it is advisable to take a loan for such venture and where can one get such loan. Pls your opinion please, because I am kind of confused here. I need a job badly. Bros, please first define terms with your friend incase if it does not work out.If i were you i'll tell him that incase if it did not click and since he is the person that introduced you to the aboki,he'll forfeit the money but if it is genuine, you will pay every kobo and even jara on top. There i9s no free food these days.We paid NGN 750K for just min of agric job for my younger bros and he got. |
