Samisha500:Samisha500, is this truly legit? I've been making calls to confirm if this is true |
Good morning. I haven't seen my name in the NYSC portal. I made a complaint to the school authorities, they replied that I should hold on, and Batch B is expiring by Friday. This matter tire me. |
harpfho:use fxdreema |
Zubech:You'll be ready to get a laptop, data and steady network. You'll have to brainstorm, create child friendly content. Lastly, a platform to host it and allow parents and wards to use electronic gadgets to connect and learn. It's expensive to run it in Nigeria. |
Zubech:The fee is OK. Are they exam students I.e Primary 6, JSS 3 or WAEC candidates? |
Zubech:Thanks for responding. Renegotiate with the parents. Are you charging too high? Relieve them because of the harsh economy on ground. Send them thought provoking texts to remind them of their debt. If it becomes chronic, abandon the lesson, make the calculation of days you've taught them. Then look for other students. These parents, you have to be tough but gentle with them. I did home lessons, but them no born them well to owe me. Don't use harsh words on the parents. Remember say Na them go pay the fees for teaching the children. |
Zubech:Hello! The secret to being a high paying teacher is HOME LESSONS. Be closer to your students, confine in them, praise their strength and correct their weakness, let the parents know of the performance of their wards. Cultivate personal and cordial relationship with parents and wards. Before you know it, you'll get home lessons. Also be close to other teachers, relate with them, ask them one or two about lessons. That has been my breakthrough. |
I remembered when I worked as a cashier at a betting store. The pay was low, because it wasn't a popular betting company. But then I was so broke, I needed a job desperately. And I was introduced to the job by my neighbor. The guy wasn't willing to fund the place, or furnish it. The matter tire me. I quit after 6 months. I'll advice someone never to work in a one man business. Two, always carve out time for personal development. Three, any misdemeanor please quit ASAP, to protect your mental health. Four, open your eyes, like know the ethics of the job. Lastly, never ever skip opportunities, they come every second. I'm currently a teacher. My pay's not much but I can pay my bills. |
moshuur:My wise advice is this: just suspend anything concerning crypt0, for now The market is unstable right now. Except you are willing to take risks with investments you can afford to lose. My portfolio is in red right now, I just had to cut my losses and move on. Right now, I'm learning Python programming language, so that I can be an expert and create apps that can trade the market safely, with minimal or no loss. |
moshuur:No sir, I'm still in the game. I temporarily quit because of my schedule. So tight, I pray I'll be free. otherwise, I've been booked till December. |

Magnoliaa:What if the lady's mother is sick or needs special help, and with the current economic and security challenges hiring a househelp, how you handle the situation? For me, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. |
Magnoliaa, I want to get your opinion: What if the guy's mother is sick or needs special help, and with the current economic and security challenges hiring a househelp, how you you view the scenario? |
If the guy is an only son, the DEFAULT is for him to look for an apartment. But when situations above his control e.g sick and dependent parent, and getting a househelp is hard, then that's an exception. Many African families are kith and kin, so it would be hard to convince a guy to bring a wife to his parent's house or convince a lady to marry to guy living in his parent's house. |
GloriousGbola:Baba, if we no change an for this people, they'll continue to do it AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. Whether male or female, we need to show these black idiots that Nigerians are not to be toyed with. If you no put your fish for safe place, rat go think say Na him get the food. |
omobaba101:Exactly! As I be street man, I don escape so many dangers. If I tell you wetin man dey see for Africa, you go begin hate your fellow black man. |
The lady is lucky to be alive. If she was raped, they'll just spray her sleeping spray, then take her body to a specialist, they'll cut out her vital body organs, and sell to Chinese Yakuza. Then they'll call the victims family that an accident killed the victim. They'll extort you and show you a silliconized body of the victim, for you to believe. Then they'll tell you you can't take the body out cos of COVID 19 shit. They'll suggest cremation. They work as a gang, and they rather lonely black ladies. Ladies, stay put for now! I'll release the full story on this shit soon |
Everybody is laying blames, without thinking on the next thing to do. Throwing insults and tantrums like silly kids. The next thing is this: WHO DO WE ESCALATE THIS MATTER TO? The Nigerian Consul is not helping matters. Abike ain't doing anything. Reducing the hotel's standards on Google won't do Jack. It's to diplomatically escalate this situation till the country sets up a committee to investigate the case. And for those thinking to spend vacation in an African country, better use that money and enjoy yourself here. If I tell you what happens in this countries, you'll cringe to death. I'll put a story on this soon. |
1Sharon:Hello. You don't know me, so I'll keep it simple: I condemn and abhor rape, and at the same time I condemn and abhor false rape accusations. If a lady says she's raped, then the logical thing to do is to do a lab test, and also attend therapy classes. The results and other evidences can be used as facts to vindicate the victim. Now let me answer your question: The reason why men have reservations for rape accusations are 1) Ladies are not sincere enough. You heard the story of Toyosi, the lady who laid a false rape accusation on Twitter. Do you see such scenario, and have faith to save a rape victim? The answer is No 2) The Africa culture too. It's a pity our traditions are primitive and backward, so I don't really blame the guys. Men receive little or no home training, so when they see the bigger life picture, they tend to be vile and aggressive. That's why I warned those two ladies to stop insulting those guys, because by doing that, you'll degrade yourself, instead of to correct. 3) Every Nigerian guy believe in "no sex, no money" policy. That's why they see ladies as cheaplings. Infact, you owe them pussie. |
PstDapo:Bros, you sabi. Na wetin I dey tell am, but she still dey continue. The case will be investigated logically, with facts and evidences. Mind also that the laws of persecution may be different here. African countries don see Giant of Africa finish. |
omor, everywhere no safe oooo. Someday, I'll tell you a bone chilling real life story on how ladies are trafficked and butchered like corned beef in an East African country. Anything wey you wan do, run am in the presence of your loved ones. Even nigga like me self, I only go out when necessary. I no dey move anyhow. Stay safe! |
I dislike it when females call men "rape apologist" because you have different opinions. That's the height of insensitivity, and if I'm in a bad mood, I can serve you court papers, so you'll know the gravity of what you write online. Please females on NL, reason with logic, not with emotions. And if you see a post "supporting negative actions" simply ignore, so they don't "drag" you to their level. Please guys, be constructive in your posts. |
This is so sad. I hope the law enforcement agencies will find the perp. Holidaying should be fun, not with pains, anguish and regrets. I doubt if she'll get justice. These African countries don see us finish, and that's the consequence of a country who doesn't care about it's citizens. I feel the perp was stalking her all along. |
I'll continue to say this: these four things must be eradicated before we can have a black society free from crimes and negativity. 1) Poverty 2) Illiteracy 3) Backward customs 4) Religion. Sorry if I offended you about the fourth one |
We are in the era of technology. Why don't we use robotic soldiers to defeat terrorism? Watch "chappie" and that's problem solved for Nigeria! |
Goalnaldo:And you think they won't see the semblance? You think say you wise na? |
Flamees:Are you talking to Olakunle Churchill? |
