The event which witnessed a surge of crowd was attended by arrays of celebs such as Regina Daniel @regina.daniel, ken Eric’s, Juliet Ibrahim, Tana Adelana, Bob Manuel, Brody Shaggi, Faze,Zik Zulu, Toyin Lawani, Francis Duru, Mamuze twins amongs others.



The producer and director of the film at the movie premiere which was powered by Billionaire Business Man and Philanthropist,Prince Ned Nwoko revealed that the movie advocates for the rights of the girl-child, gender equality and women empowerment.


Some of the casts include Rita Daniels herself, Regina Daniels,Naira Marley, Sola Sobowale, Bolanle Ninalowo, Jide Kosoko, Ken Eric, Tana Adelana, Broda Shaggi, Desmond Elliot and Woli Arole. The N180m budget movie was shot in various locations in Abuja including the five star hotel the Wells Carlton Hotel and Luxury Apartments, flying a private jet to and from lagos while the shooting lasted. The movie also teaches vigilance and not to totally trust anyone, as there may be the enemy one needs to stay away from. It also addresses the stereotype that it is the male son of the family who should handle the father’s business or inherit his property.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal office on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 arraigned Gladys Udia before Justice M. L Abubakar of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on a seven-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing, forgery and alteration to the tune of N3,476,700.00(Three Million Four Hundred and Seventy Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Naira only) One of the counts read: "That you Gladys Udia and Dominic Okon a.k.a Paul (now at large) between the 24th and 31st of July, 2019, at Port Harcourt, Rivers State within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, whilst you were staff of Union Bank Plc stole the sum of (N3,434,000,00) Three Million, Four Hundred and Thirty Four Thousand Naira only, property of one Benjamin Akerele and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 390 of the Criminal Code Act, Cap. C 38 of the Revised Edition (Laws of the Federation of Nigeria) 2007 read together with Section 1 (1) (b) of the Failed Banks (Recovery of Debts) and Financial Malpractices in Banks Act, Cap B3 of the Revised Edition (Laws of the Federation of Nigeria)2007" Udia’s trouble started when a petitioner, Benjamin Akerele, a customer of Union Bank, Port Harcourt, sought the intervention of the EFCC over the theft of his money in the bank. The petitioner alleged that sometimes between July 24 and August 6, 2019, a total sum of N3,476,700.00(Three Million, Four Hundred and Seventy Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Naira only) was fraudulently withdrawn from his account domiciled in a Union Bank's Sokoto branch. Investigation carried out by the bank’s internal affairs unit revealed that the principal suspect, Gladys Udia, a staff of the Ikwerre Road branch in Port Harcourt was captured by the bank's CCTV Camera taking photographs of the customer’s BVN printout page with her mobile phone and sent same to her accomplices, who subsequently carried out a limit enhancement on the customer’s account at the Bori branch, thereby granting them access to the account.

Aregbesola's statement on Interior Ministry is alarming. How can a man who has been the Chief Executive Officer of a state for 8 years say he doesn't know what the Ministry of Interior is about except what he has read in the Newspapers?

So he is trying to tell us that while he was the Governor of Osun State for 8 years, he never met the Minister of Interior during any of the Federal Executive Council meetings? He never had one thing or the other to do with the office or any arm under the Ministry of Interior?

Does Aregbesola want us to believe that he doesn't know that the Ministry of Interior is in charge of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Internal Security, Nigerian Correctional Service.

He can't tell me that he doesn't know that the Ministry formulates and implements policies related to border management and supervises the National Immigration Service and other functions that include:

Granting of Nigerian citizenship
Consular and immigration services
Granting of business permits and expatriate quotas
Co-ordination of national and independence day celebrations
Reformation and re-integration of inmates
Security of lives and properties
Management of National emergencies;
Recruitment of officers and men of the Correctional Service, Immigration Service, Fire Service and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps
Managing the retirement benefits of retirees of paramilitary Services under its supervision.

If Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is saying the truth then this is bad for President Buhari who has obviously appointed only those he knows as he earlier promised and not those who can do the job into his cabinet .

This is the reason why it is stupid to appoint Ministers into offices they know nothing about, its another way of wasting time because the Minister is going to start learning on the job and Nigeria doesn't have time to waste. Another case is giving Eng. Saleh Mamman the Ministry of Power when the man has made great impact in Agriculture. Why not give him the Ministry of Agriculture?
His speech after the appointment during a reception in his honor is just a twin to that of Aregbesola. Eng. Mamman said :

"What I need from Nigerians at this time is prayers. I have just been appointed Minister of Power, so I have nothing much to talk about or say than for Nigerians to pray for me to succeed," he said.


Anybody you put in Power Ministry must have idea on PPP, Investments, Trade Unions, Tarrifs etc. The man must  have vast knowledge in the energy ecosystem !

Aregbesola is just the only Minister who is honest that's if he being truthful because it's the same case with many if not all the first time Ministers.

Besides operating in Nigeria as a business against which a lot of infractions have been reported, the fraud that Jumia is has now assumed a global dimension. Moving from a frim with a lot of skeletons in its wardrobe in that it operates an online travel business without an online IATA licence which is one of the requirements for such operation, and also does not have CBN mobile money licence though it operates like one, the Jumia brand is deeply enmeshed in corporate fraud with dire consequences as the NYSE would launch into series of investigations to mete out the right treatment to the firm.


Citron Research, a US Based online investment Newsletter, has declared Jumia shares as “worthless” and that they had never “seen such an obvious fraud”. Jumia share price was down by over 18% as at closing of trading at the New York Stock Exchange. According to the report by Citron, Jumia forged its numbers ahead of filing documents for its listing in the US. Two of Jumia’s largest shareholders, MTN and Rocket Internet wanted to exit the company after it reported in 2018 that it has a year’s cash left. The company’s revenue also declined from $145million to $131million while adjusted EBITDA loss went from $161million to $150million. Jumia removed certain information and went ahead to distort the figures and facts in its investment memorandum with a view get its stock overpriced that its actual value.

The Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Bichi, has said that most politicians, particularly state governors, do not trust security officials and would rather go to spiritualists and native doctors otherwise known as Babalawos for protection.

Multiple sources are now revealing that the Managing Director of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority -NSIA, Uche Orji is currently under severe pressure.



Following the recent alleged illegal appointment of daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Aisha Abba Kyari as an Assistant Vice President at the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), there has been said to be an unrest, with investigations being launched into how the news leaked to the public.

Furthermore, it was hinted that Mr. Uche Orji has been under fire, as private investigations carried out fingered him as being behind the leaked information on Abba Kyari’s daughter, which has since put her in the eyes of the storm

There were allegations by a civil rights organization, Coalition Against Corruption and Bad Governance (CACOBAG) that Aisha Abba Kyari’s appointment violated set procedure at the NSIA, adding that her position was not advertised and that she did not meet the criteria for appointment.

Nigerian Stand Up Comedian, Bovi, whose comedy is inspired by women, political and social issues is about to end a popular show that has made him both money and fame. Bovi’s show , Man On Fire, will hold on Sunday, April 29th for the last time at the prestigious Eko Hotel by 8 PM.

According to the website which offers Nigerian property seekers an easy way to find details of property like homes, houses, lands, shops, office spaces and other commercial property, the promoters of the hotel want $250million for it. The advert was posted March 30th.

On the site, the Lagos Oriental Hotel was described as havinga variety of luxury rooms including The Classic Room, the Classic Superior Room, the Classic Deluxe Room, Junior Suite, Executive Junior Suite, Business Suite, Diplomatic Suite, Ambassador Suite, and Presidential Suite. The post further stated, “Besides their enthralling original artwork and Asian furnishings, the rooms also offer enchanting views of the Lagos Lagoon. Each room comes with a coffee maker, complimentary bottle of water, a free mini bar, a secure safe box, a Bible, a directory and a few mailing envelopes.

Additionally, all rooms have flat LCD screens, individually controlled air conditioning units, and en-suite bathrooms. The last may not have been heard on a case of alleged fraud involving Sterling Bank Plc and one of its customers, Providence Heights Secondary School Staff Welfare Association, as the latter has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to wade into the crisis.
The customer had accused Sterling Bank of defrauding it to the tune of N1.2 million at the bank’s branch on Iju Road, Iju, in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State.
According to the customer, on two occasions within a period of five months, millions of naira were withdrawn from its saving accounts with numbers 0000886683 and 0068955741.
