Wow My friend told me his dad said Chase was a damn good writer and a popular read in those days gone by. That was how I got to hear of James Hadley Chase. After reading just one book of his, ''You find him-I'll fix him'', to say I was thrilled and captivated would be an Understatement
Infact, I THINK i should emulate his style of writing

Arrow of God is one book Achebe used to portray the folly of believing in a god or gods. The arbitrariness of the gods, the gods abandoning Ezeulu for speaking the truth; it all boils down to the fact that mankind made the gods. Not the other way round.

Arrow of God has no match when it comes to the truth about our relationship with the gods and morality.

Do try it. But most of the books on pdfgive.net are essays and reviews with same title as the novels. U'll have to dig a bit deeper to unearth the actual novels.

Arrow of God more engaging as a story for me, things fall apart, great book but a little too abstract or proverbial like someone has mentioned.
