PoliticsRe: Igboman Invested In Islamic Banking by sirgeorge(m): 10:41am On Jun 27, 2011
A little bit of research won't hurt anybody. We're on the internet, we might as well go on wikipedia and read up the whole islamic banking thing and stop all the religious/tribal thing.
i've checked the whole thing out and it does make sense regardless of what anybody thinks.Even the vatican verifies that.

Dear Jarus

I'm in my final year of mech.eng at a nigerian university.will probably be coming out with a 2.2.
I strongly desire a career in the IB industry so i've been reading a lot on financially related subjects like accounting and economics.I heard of the importance of spreadsheets and so i've started work on my excel skills also.My plan pre-NYSC and during NYSC is to get an internship in the IB industry or other financial related institutions.i'll probably go for an MBA after that.Been following the thread for a long time now and i've seen CIS and CFA come up.I'll like to know exactly how they can fit in with my short term plans.I've heard of the long hours and everything but if it were possible i would probably work for free.I guess that's the depth of my desire.I've always had a fascination about money markets( for me its not a hollywood or glamour thing).I really need a guiding hand right now so please feel free to point out any flaws in my plans.I'll really appreciate the advice.

A penny for my thoughts

Who buys my thoughts
Buys not some false pretense
Of Crass materialism and the 'Nigerian Dream'
He buys the thoughts
Projected by the Remnant
Of restless youths who are born
Into deep and clashing cultures,
Sorting,questioning,watching,
So,a penny for my thoughts?

HealthRe: Your Guide To Nature's Remedies For General Health And Well-being by sirgeorge(m): 12:17am On Sep 09, 2010
Fasting - A True Natural Remedy
Fasting is the complete abstinence from food for a short or long period for a specific purpose.Fasting is nature’s oldest, most effective and yet least expensive method of treating disease.Fasting is one of the most ancient customs. It is followed in almost every religion.
The common cause of most diseases is the accumulation of waste and poisonous matter in the body which results from overeating. The majority of people eat too much and have tiresome jobs which don't allow them enough proper exercise for utilisation of such large quantities of food. The excess food burdens the digestive and assimulative organs and blocks the system with impurities or poisons. Digestion and elimination become slow and affect the functional activity of the body.
The beginning of disease is merely the process of ridding the system of these impurities.Every disease can be healed by by doing just the opposite of what causes it, that is reducing the food intake or fasting.By depriving the body of food for some time ,the organs of elimination such as the bowels, kidneys, skin and lungs are allowed to expel accumulated waste from the system.Fasting is merely the process of purification and an effective and quick method of cure. It assists nature in her continuous effort to expel foreign matter and disease producing waste from the body, thereby correcting the faults of improper diet and wrong living. It also leads to regeneration of the blood as well as the repair and regeneration of the various tissues of the body.I would encourage everybody to fast every once in a while, regardless of whether we are religious or not.It will surely go a long way in keeping us healthy.

Imagine living with someone who thinks he is so perfect and seemingly likes to rub it in your face.
Shit, you want to bust his face up so bad but it's against the rules. So you just sit there and absorb the insults.
You bide your time for slowly but surely your day will come.
Your Fury shall be such that Hell would seem cold.
Until then,

she has stepped on my toes for the last time.
I once vowed never to hit a woman again but in this case i must make an exception. She stands there staring defiantly at me with those hauntingly seductive eyes.I am weak in the knees and nearly lose my resolve. But never again i say to myself will i fall prey to those evil eyes.I charge forward like an enraged bull and unleash a resounding slap across her face which connects with a sound like cracking thunder. She looks absolutely shell shocked.Emboldened,i clench my fists and follow up with a flurry of tyson-esque punches to the face. Each punch lands with a sickening thud.Suddenly, almost as if in slow motion, time slows and in that split second i watch in morbid fascination as the face begins to crumble and reshapen under the impact of my fists. The bridge of her nose caves in and blood bursts out as if from a broken dam,the eyelids double in size and i see teeth flying past me.I am Michealangelo gone berserk.Yet,she still stands, with her horrible broken up face staring at me through puffy slits and smiling. She takes a wild swing at me with rakishly long nails and i realize its now or never. With a bloodcurdling yell i bring my fists down in unison over her head and on impact i hear a horrible cracking of bone. Finally the witch crumbles. At long last, this devilish relationship is over I think as i smile in grim satisfaction at the disfigured heap at my feet.

EducationRunning A Private Free Education School In Nigeria-is It Really Worth It? by sirgeorge(op): 2:35am On May 31, 2010
I run a school that operates on a free education system. This school provides free education, food and even accommodation for a lot of less privileged children. It sounds great but in practice tends to be very difficult and frustrating.Nigerians tend to be skeptical about everything that sounds good.People wonder if it is a scam, sponsors rarely send a helping hand if ever,Government officials hound and harass the school at every opportunity and even the people the program is targeted at tend to develop some kind of superiority complex making it seem like a crime to run a school for free.I have a vision of a Nigeria fully populated and run by educated people and i feel it is my duty to contribute to my country in the best way i can but sometimes i just wonder if going through all this frustration and heartache is really worth it.
