I experienced all of the above and now as an adult I wish I was brought up differently. There are some very good points in there but most of the rest are just plain ridiculous.Tyrannizing your kids in the name of african moral upbringing. Sad |
Immediately Yakubu missed that open goal in 2010,that team was dead to me.Haven't watched a single match since then |

My observation: Scientific knowledge should be taken with a pinch of salt where there is a question of what is sacred in humans. How can scientific knowledge acquired by study and research lead to spirituality?Knowledge is what the brain can concieve.Yet the perceptive capacitiy of our brains are highly limited(our brains are bound within space and time).Spiritual concepts like eternity and infinity cannot be hgrasped by the human brain. Do correct me if I'm wrong or off topic. |
Hurray for GenBuhari. You sir are on point |

tanimola22:Insead money is not beans o!Let me not kill my parents before their time.Besides virtually every school offering the grande ecole is well accredited and so i've pretty much narrowed down the schools i'll like to attend. |
@All the senior men in the house You guys gave me some good advice some months back on why not to take an MBA straight out of school.Just want to say a big thanks as i've done my homework now and things seem kinda clearer. P.S: i would like to a honest opinion as to whether a masters in international management(more specifically a grande ecole program in france)is a better option and how it is viewed in the business world(both nationally and internationally). Thanks Again. |

@naijababe three words: i loved it.It's no easy thing to turn the life of a basically ordinary family into a kinda sensational one.I can't think of a better way it could have ended. the woman is good no doubt but definitely not the next Soyinka or Achebe as people like to think. Just my thoughts, @Topic Blood diamonds by greg campbell(not based on the movie and a lot more graphic,it's terrifying really). Its funny how in the past week i've read 2 totally different books both named blood diamonds and then watched the movie. I'm beginning to have dreams about diamonds, brutal soldiers and chopped-off body parts.God help me, |
naijababe:Although i'm kinda late to the party,i'm really enjoying purple hibiscus.Happy i picked it because after reading half of a yellow sun i began to wander what all the fuss about chimamanda was about. All doubts have been officially erased. |
Purple Hibiscus- I hope its better than the overhyped half of a yellow sun |
