barcanista: What is the intent of this thread? Is it to gv d sect classified info on military activities or what?

The DSS and Military should fish out the OP and close this thread as a matter or National Security
Go through the thread from page 1....Tell what info you think is "classified" here...I have never, for once posted anything harmful to National Security...Get your facts right.

The Nigerian Military has for the past four years, been actively engaged in the North East of this Great Country of Ours..From the Streets of Maiduguri, the Dust Bowls of Northern Borno to the Plains of Niger, Fathers, brothers and sons have been gallantly defending the territorial ediface of this country in Counter-Terrorist Operations..This Thread, will through pictorials, and when available, videos, tell the stories of our fighting men..As we all know, this thread was among the other materials lost during the Massive Data loss that happened 22nd June 2014...I, SiriusBlack, has decided to, after much yearning from NLders, decided to reopen this thread..I had earlier decided not to repost photos I had earlier posted on the previous version but I decided otherwise because I believe that this thread is an Historical Archive of a campaign that will be a major part of this Country's Journey to Promised Land.
Cheers.

Cooleasy:
SiriusBlack, please, and I repeat, PLEASE, re-open your thread on the activities of the Nigerian Army in the North East. It is an appeal and not a command.
Time will tell if I will...The data loss was very disappointing..All that work..Wasted..I'm considering re-opening the Thread tomorrow...Let's just keep our fingers crossed.

LIES! LIES! Sahara ReporLies...
The insurgents lauched the attacks on Domboa after their camps in Alargano and Yajiwa came under NAF Airstrikes...Their attack on Domboa was a desperate move to gain ground....The NA troops at Domboa completely destroyed most of them...SaharaReporters is just a lie-peddling APC PR team..Always trying to show that the Army is not making progress..

I am INDEED flattered by the posts here...Nice to know that some peeps care about the current CT-COIN operations in the N.E from the angle of troops based there...The data loss on NL, was no doubt heart-breeaking and disappointing ....I decided not to re-register or restart my online campaign but...I stumbled on Henry120 's thread and I wat touched...he has, despite the massive loss of pages and pictorials, resumed posting..I then decided to start over...I, on the other hand, doubt that the Security agencies had anything to do with the crash...I'm quite sure that it was a server meltdown..I will, tommorow by God's Grace, restart the thread..Thanks for the Concern..
God bless you Sirs.

Hey, Black!!!!!! *****dancing skelewu****, switches to dancing my local traditional dance.

Man, we ( nairalanders) are so relieved to have you back. Nigeria is relived to have you back. It was a truly unfortunate hacking man. We lost a lot. This thread and it's contributors lost half our stock of photos, yours was completely wiped off........ Lol.

The hackers might have hacked nairaland, but unfortunately for them, they cannot hack my computer, neither can they hack my phone or my external hard disk.

I'll be posting back all the photos lost as we move on. As long as photos are released, I won't stop posting them. Even if they hack us back to the stone ages, as long as nairaland.com is able to come back online, I'll re-register and continue posting them.

Please re-start the thread, rest assured, we are all behind you.
Its so unfortunate I did not even back up my archives..I stll have about 200 photos...ill re-post them all over again....I might sound like a skeptic, but I do not believe NL was hacked...it was pure incompetence by Seun's crew...from my little knowledge of Programming, I think what happened was a Sever and Database crash...If it was hacking, NL would have been completely wiped off!....Oga seun should just come clean and stop peddling falsehood...I just hope they get it right this time.
