Revolution:
Showing the dead body of a soldier does not pay tribute to him. You'll never see that done in the developed world and it certainly should be done in Nigeria. Please stop posting pictures of soldiers killed in battle.
That is exactly what I told the dude..He still hasn't modified the post. Those photos are very disrespectful..a stain on a thread as good as this.

@Op I can't see any sense in your post..

A solider used a publicly accessible twitter to make sensitive comments and u blaming a blogger for using the microblogging platform to echo the comments..

You must be completely nuts and have no idea of what you are talking about..

If you ever had a brain. You won't be posting this in the politics section when there is a contact for on LIB..

More grease to our gallant solders
Mr Gej support.
I don't normally reply insults, but ill reply urs. Under Military Law, dissident comments made against the State are treasonable offences. Negative comments made against a superior, is a Court-Martial offence..The soldier,in question broke these laws..Instead of keeping his personal opinions secret, the blog invaded is twitter handle and now, I can assure you, he is in a lot of mess already. Next time, read posts before typing out of impulse..I won't insult you..If you think I'm without a brain, as you so happily pointed out, then that's left to you.
Thank you.

Politics / An Open Letter To The Linda Ikeji Blog. by SiriusBlack: 9:30pm On Jan 05, 2015
Though I have never been a visitor to the famed entertainment blog, I feel compelled to write this article with the hope that it gets to the all individuals concerned.

The Nigerian Army has been actively engaged against the Boko Haram terror group for close to 6 years now. What started out as military operations to flush out sleeper cells operating in State capitals in the N.E has now become a full blown semi-conventional war. Though misinformation through media channels like SaharaReporters has led to dampened morale among civilians as to the true happennings in the N.E, the military has battled on, despite the numerous challenges. I must confess, massive changes are going on in the Nigerian Army..The years of rot caused by military rule is still problem; both in terms of equipment and professionalism.

The purpose of which I am writing this "e-letter" is to address the unruly invasion of military personnel's activities online by the LIB. Today, the Twitter handle of a soldier serving in the N.E was publicly displayed for all and sundry.

Not only will this definitely lead on an unfortunate Court-Martial for this young man, it is a disrespectful and unfortunate use of the media to make cheap political points.

The soldier involved, due to the LIB's irresponsible attitude will have to deal with serious career consequences, among which is a possible court-martial.

I, personally, have a thread on this forum dedicated to the Officers and men of the N.A serving on the frontlines, I had to discontinue the thread out of concern for my personal safety bearing in mind the consequences it might hold for my job. Pasting a soldier's comments on twitter along with his full picture, was not only callous, but highly irresponsible.

Never again should the blog attempt to make cheap news out of sincere complaints by soldiers serving in the conflict zones, As this will not only put them at risk of Military Law, but will discourage personal level interactions between military personnel. The blog should stick to what it does best; "Celebrity" worship.

The real celebs are in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.

Politics / RIP: Poem In Honour Of Wing Commander Chimda Hedima.. by SiriusBlack: 3:40pm On Oct 06, 2014
Though I never knew Wing Commander Chimda Hedima personally, I have friends who did..He was a calm, friendly and brilliant chap..He piloted the ill-fated Alpha Jet of the NAF till he was murdered..Though I'm not an excellent poet, I must admit, I felt I needed to write a simple poem in honour of this patriot...He won't get a National honour even though "Aki" and "Pawpaw" did..No..but, he will stay in our hearts a hero and a loyal son of this country...
RIP Wing Commander Chimda Hedima..

Today, my bird will soar..
Today my country's might will roar..
With skill, with poise, heart and might..
Ill fly, ill fly its wings, its war, ill gladly fight.

Now cutting through the wind..
My chariot, in Mach 1 blistering with speed..
Arriving to visit hell on my country's enemies..
Ill fly, ill fly, with bravery and grace, in history's corridors, let me take my place.

I see the devils!! duty calls now,
Slowly I drop my ordinace, evading their shells with brilliance..
Its done, with a smile I look up...
Shivering controls, break my grin..

Our chariot's been hit! Its been hit!
Screams my co-warrior in his seat.
Let's get home! Let's get home!He screams..
No..No...Not home..I say, Lets finish this..

Slowly we roll down...still fighting with every breath..
Flames light up their camps! Death, death death!
We did it! We did it!

Bang!! excitement gives way as my chariot begins to break apart
She served me well, my land too..
Eject! Eject! My co-warrior screams..
No I won't! As crazy as that seems....

I see light now...A punch jerks me up..
I've been captured! Still I can't feel fear?
Where is my co-pilot? Where is my chariot?
I remember it all..joy fills my heart, because I answered when duty called..

I see their axe now, I look at the sky,
Still no fear? Still no tears?
Ill defy them all, still ill stay strong..
Take my life, get on with it! Warriors don't plead...

Mama, Papa, weep not...im going home standing tall..
A true patriot, I hope I did my best..
I gave my life, I gave my all..
To my country, my land, I fulfilled my pledge..

Forget me not, forget me not..
From the forests of the south, to the hills of the North.
Tell my story, tell it all..
My sacrifice, my bravery, oh! Tell it all.

Thank You.

fydence: ...oh thanx alot...didnt knw you u cld fix an AMD graphics card on an Intel Processor...are there any drawbacks? Probably lyk data loss or any other? By the way Its good to know u are ok sir!
Yeah..its possible..but for optimized gaming performance, just get an NVIDIA graphics card..its a specialized gaming asset..just don't try and change the processor..AMD(ATI) processors heat up rapidly..intel i3 is just ok...If you are into soccer games, an i3 will be more than ok..you won't have to change anything in your PC...bt other "high-grade" games like COD, HALO, assassin's creed and the rest need powerful engines..or they will be too slow..like I said, just leave the processor...and get an NVIDIA or AMD Radeon Graphics card...ill advice you go for NVIDIA..its more specialized for gaming..as long as the change is done by skilled technicians, it should just be fine...and thanks, we are fine here..newer hardware that I would have put on the thread..bt..u kno na..lol
