Gombs: Sir John o!Here's a more detailed version, and below were some of the words he used, so tell me how that is different from what I said ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPB3a8FBeJY "You know, I've looked for one verse in the Bible -- I just can't seem to find it -- one verse that says, 'If you don't like'em, kill'em." I really wish I could find it! ... Sometimes I wish God would give me a Holy Ghost machine gun. I'd blow your heads off,. " |
Gombs: FixedWhile you are at it, you may as well explain the second video I posted |
Gombs: Yup! He cursed ANYONE who speaks against the anointing in his ministry! He did not curse anyone who spoke against or insulted him.His words: "I curse that man who dares to speak a word against this ministry" in this other video, he wishes there's a verse in the bible that will permit him to kill his critics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2becyRCK6LU |
Gombs: I didn't bother ma'am... in all those, Jesus was reported not firing back or threatening or such. How many times have you seen T. B. Joshua, Oyedepo, Oyakhilome, Hinn, Copeland, etc... how many times have they threatened their accusers or rained brimstones on them?I have one Sir, do you mind if I share? ![]() |
Goshen360: Stop mentioning my I.D please. Deal with your prophet and keep your house (CE) in order.I tire for these people I swear ![]() I'm sure Joagbaje was trying to infer that the new disease is Ebola, but I'm sure he forgot that Ebola is not a new disease, its been around as far back as the 70's This one got me cracking though: 11. Thus saith the LORD GOD; there shall be releases of new vehicles and new electronics in 2014 saith the LORD GOD Like seriously! Its like saying 'Thus says the lawd, there will be a new IPhone in 2014 ![]() |
Joagbaje: Many have criticized Olaye George (Godprophet) on this forum , but Some recent incidence got me thinking about the year 2014 prophecies of Olaye George . I remembered He talked about a new desease outbreak, He talked about scandals in churches And He talked about a building in Nigeria that will collapse and kill many . Etc. recent building collapse got my attention I was trying to locate the post he made this January.Bros Jo, since the prophecy has been posted here, can you please tell us which of the prophecies has come to pass ![]() |
Gombs: Sir, the challenge was to Joagbaje, and your only part was what your reaction would be, not what you would put up for the challenge. You ruined it all though, but I like your honesty, and appreciate your gesture for admitting the bounty was way off. Thank you, and I hope this thread goes a different direction from here.It was not just to Joagbaje, it was between me Joagbaje and Kenyan28. If I had declined, the challenge would still not have happened. |
WinsomeX: Faith healing. An example of practices in a healing school. T B Joshua and Chris Oyakhilome style:Hmmm! there are dozens and even hundreds of warnings out there, all with similar accounts as I have given, later some clowns will come here saying its only 'SirJohn' that talking. The truth is people are generally gullible, its just the sad truth. Someone has asked me here before 'why the thousands of people who throng the healing school and some other places like that don't come back with my story' my answer is 'there are loads of account just like mine here on the internet but some people just decide to turn a blind eye to it' It will amaze you how many Europeans and Americans fall for cheap internet scams despite loads of publications that litter the internet; it honestly amazes me and I can clearly draw a relationship between this and what happens in the christian circles. Some of these scams are sometimes ridiculously lame yet they claim so called educated people. What will also shock you is the caliber of people who fall for scams generally worldwide, the statistics is staggering; and I can immediately relate to that because I sometimes get amazed myself what some people choose to believe. I have colleagues in the office who believe some of the most ridiculous superstitions you can imagine and sometimes I ask myself aren't these people supposed to be engineers? some with very enviable educational qualifications and several years of experience and exposure? America spends millions of dollars trying to educate and warn its citizens about internet scams yet every minute, one American somewhere is falling for the same scam. I hope and pray people gradually come to their senses and learn, otherwise.... |
Gombs: Welcome back, but on a serious note, SirJohn, your post and 'bounty' was uncalled for and totally callous. Are we supposed as Christians, to accept a contest just to prove God heals? Even them atheists can't make us do that for reasons obvious in the bible.See this hypocrite talking ![]() I didn't call for the challenge, the challenge was thrown to me and what I did was simply accede to it and put up my own proposition along side the challenge based on certain cases that will result in little or no controversy . Your post here even suggested you were warming up to the challenge, maybe you thought Joagbaje would take the bait . Maybe putting up a cash bounty was going too far, and I most sincerely withdraw my cash offer. But I will still be glad to be called upon anytime to witness any healing meeting where any of the cases I mentioned will be ministered to; and if they get healed I will tender an unreserved apology.Gombs: Well then, I see this thread is finally heading somewhere, my request for an interview is hereby suspended. Kenyan, we await you. SirJohn: @All, |
Gombs: I concur, Sir John's conditions made mockery of the whole thingStory ![]() |
Joagbaje: I may take the challenge if I'm led to. If I get green light on it ,I will say. ![]() Joagbaje: But john if my memory serve me well couple of years ago . You claim there is no longer healing or so through prayers.Pull out the post, and please make sure it is exactly the way I said it |
Joagbaje: There are principles . I will pray for any true seeker of God . But if someone is mocking my faith and say I should pray . It's mockery . I don't need to prove God to any person . But I will minister to any true seeker . Because if a mocker comes and say "Pray let's see what you got" he won't recieve . A man must humble himself and seek God genuinely .Stop making excuses Joagbaje, the challenge put nearly everything in your own terms ie the people to be prayed for, the location, the time etc. we were only going to be mere observers. The last time I tried investigating one of your funny claims of healing here, it ended in insults and name calling. I do not wish to embark on such merry-go-round, nor subject people to such. Again I say take up the challenge stop making excuses Joagbaje: If Kenya had said rather, I believer in healing through you .i believe in the anointing upon your life that God can heal me through you. Pls pray for me . I tell you , she will recover if she is prayed for.So are you accepting the challenge for Kenyan28, so we all agree on the terms? |
Seun: @Sirjohn: Please create a dedicated thread for your healing challenge so I can feature it on the home page.Joagbaje is yet to indicate his interest to accept or decline my challenge; if he accepts the challenge, and I hope he does, then I will create a separate thread for it. |
@All, I am definitely in for a challenge anytime. Over the years, I have put my money where my mouth is and offered half a million Naira to anyone who would provide evidence to the miraculous cure of certain ailments (which I listed) through faith healing; unfortunately nobody seem to have claimed that bounty. This time around, I want to renew my proposition and I'm willing to still stake half a million Naira, plus a promise to tender apologies to Pastor Chris in five national daily's and on Nairaland. MY TAKE ON THE KENYAN28 CHALLENGE I am of the opinion that the Kenyan28 challenge will probably end inconclusive for the two reasons: 1. Joagbaje has already raised a red flag with the comment below, so if she doesn't get healed, he will obviously fall back on flimsy excuses like lack of faith or the presence of sin in her life. Joagbaje: Because at this point praying for her will never work except God will just do a spectacular miracle by healing just to demonstrate his love.2. I really think we should not put this woman through another emotional torture. Notwithstanding my reservations, I will still accede to this challenge on the following conditions 1. that a preliminary test be done to confirm initial status. Test will be done at a generally agreed location and result be published here before the ministration. 2. Location of the ministration be made open 3.Conclusion of the challenge to be determined only by the result of a follow up test after the prayers However, I have my own proposition which will be less controversial and it goes thus: MY PROPOSITION Let Joagbaje provide a genuine case of anyone with the following conditions: Complete blindness in both eyes (preferably born blind), Complete paralysis, Complete Deafness in both ears, a child with Downs syndrome, or a child with brain damage. Please note that I have given him the advantage so he can provide the people himself who he must have certified to be ready to receive healing. This people must have traceable documented medical records showing their conditions are as stated above. The venue of the ministration will be made known to volunteers from nairaland who would like to go and observe, at least five people well known on nairaland. I wish to declare my intention to be part of the volunteers. I will be physically present with my own small crew of photographer, personal security and medical personel Joagbaje will give at least 10 days notice so we can make travel plans. Since Jo is in the south south region of the country, anywhere around that geopolitical zone is okay by me. I and any other volunteer will have the right to publish the unedited version of whatever happens there as captured by us. I will drop a signed cheque of N500,000 and a written letter of apology signed by me which will be in the custody of a nairaland volunteer. If Joagbaje is okay with this, then I'm game. |
mbaemeka: An important factor to be considered in discordance also is length of cohabitation as married couples. In most of the hospital case studies, the longest time of living together is so far 2 years. It is unclear whether the longer the cohabitation period, the lesser rates of discordance will be.The phenomena is still being studied and there is no absolute explanation why it happens, but the existence and increase in occurrence is undeniable. I call it one of those natures aberration. Have a good night sleep Bro ![]() |
mbaemeka: lol, I know about HIV discordant couples. Even Kenya28 mentioned it in one of her posts during the heat. Discordance is affected by frequency and some form of resistance that a few people possess (1/10000 or so).No Sir, you don't ![]() For those wondering what we are talking about, please read this: HIV Discordance Getting Common in Couples By Abiose Adelaja Because heterosexual transmission of HIV is responsible Couplefor a large percentage of HIV infections, there is an expected risk that an HIV positive person will infect a negative partner if they have unprotected sex. But what continues to baffle many including medical personnel is the increasing incidence of discordance in relationships; that is, a situations where a positive person does not infect a partner despite the odds. This peculiarity looks worrisome especially as researchers are yet to come up with an explanation for this situation, although a couple of indicators have been suggested for this occurrence. Serodiscordance is a situation where a couple's sero (blood) status is not compatible. This scenario began to emerge as the incidence of a wife testing positive and husband negative was seen by health practitioners in HIV work. "The discordant rate is increasing. It is as high as 45 per cent in PMTCT clinic," says Professor Isaac Adewole, a gynaecologist at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. In his experience at the Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV (PMTCT) at UCH, professor Adewole recounts that many homes have been broken as a result of this discovery. "Medicine is meant for happiness and not for breaking homes," he says. "We have experienced several cases of sero-discordance, and we are often faced with the challenge not to cause unhappiness or break homes, because most of the husbands accuse their wives of unfaithfulness and send them out." A colleague concurred with the professor's findings, saying: "In about 20% of the mothers that I have managed, their spouses were HIV negative," according Dr. Ebun Adejuyigbe Department of Peadiatrics, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Unfaithfulness, which is the most common reason one partner may test HIV positive while the other remains negative, does not completely explain the medical possibilities. Professor of Gynaecology, Dr Sagay, said that despite ongoing research, the causes are still largely unknown. Some causes have been traced to the interrelation of the several factors ranging from transmission rates due to anatomical structure of male and female genitals where men are less vulnerable to contracting the virus than women; virulence of HIV strains; circumcision factors and level of sexual experience at the point of marriage. The biological or anatomical Couplestructure of the female genital is such that an HIV positive man can easily transmit HIV to the woman during unprotected sex, even just at first meeting, while a woman who is positive may not transmit virus to the man. (The surface area of the vagina is wider and contains more body fluid.)Thus, transmission rate is twice as high from a man to a woman than from a woman to a man. As a result, the positive wife might not easily transfer the virus to her husband even during several intercourse periods, if she had been infected before or during marriage. Apart from this, male circumcision is another factor that may prevent the man from the infection. Men who are circumcised are more unlikely to be infected than men who are not." Circumcision plays a major role. Men who are circumcised have more difficulty contracting HIV through unprotected sex than men who are not," Prof Sagay says. This discovery has led communities that don't circumcise their males to embark on circumcision as an HIV prevention strategy. The virulence of HIV strain an HIV positive person carries also plays a role in serodiscordance. If a woman acquired the infection either before marriage, the virulence of the HIV strain determines the transmission rate. Researchers have established that certain strains are more virulent and are therefore more efficiently transmitted than others. If, for example, the wife has the HIV that has a less tricky recombinant character the chances of infecting the man is greatly reduced. She may have unprotected sex several times and the virus does not cross over to the man. Sexual experience of the woman at the time of marriage is another factor. Women are more vulnerable to HIV due to reasons ranging from biological to social economic, cultural and religious factors. Young women are likely to have sexual relations with older men with more advanced sexual experience than their male counterparts, before marriage. As a result, by the time she decides to get married, she might have acquired the infection, unknown to her. An important factor to be considered in discordance also is length of cohabitation as married couples. In most of the hospital case studies, the longest time of living together is so far 2 years. It is unclear whether the longer the cohabitation period, the lesser rates of discordance will be. Source:http://www.nigeriahivinfo.com/hjp/june_stories/couple_discordance.php |
Joagbaje: That was what I was pushing for in the beginning.I know is that Kenya got healed ? But she lost it. How she lost it is between her and God. She herself knew she was healed. Apart from the medical test. Symptoms were gone. Even when symptoms retuned . She still maintained that she knew she was healed . I offered her either to pray for her as a last option but firstly I tried to arrange for her to meet the pastor over there . The pastor that used to be there had been transferred to Nigeria, I had to get the number of the new pastor and called him from nigeria relating the matter. I told Kenya to go and meet him. But while I was making all these effort to save and help situation, big bros here were helping her destroy her faith. Initially she used to say . I knew I was healed but why did it come back but later her language changed to what bros here told her "I was never healed" at that point there's nothing I could do . Even if prayers was made she has no faith leftOkay Jo lets assume you are right for a moment; what do I have to offer this young woman? Nothing! I have told her here on NL that HIV has no cure so why would she choose to listen to me instead of you? tell me... You had something to offer her, some hope of getting completely cured of HIV through faith. I only offered her common sense and if she chose that over some fleeting hope well why blame it on me. I am aware you still contact her (you even contacted her today) but I have never advised her against talking to you; she told me you are friends with her on facebook and I told her its okay. I saw all these coming years ago although I never thought it would happen so quickly. in the end its all about what we all stand for... You stand for what you believe in and speak about it, I also stand for what I believe and speak about it. I've told you before Jo, out of all the CE people I know who have heard this story from me, you are the only one who dared to ask questions. Remember you had to meet with Evang Eddy Owase in Benin on this issue? I respected that effort; for some brief moment, you almost threw all your bias down just to get to the root of it. But as far as this issue is concerned, we are clearly on different divides. I'm sorry but I don't think you can offer her lasting hope, you may disagree but that is my stand. |
mbaemeka: As per the possibility of not getting the HIV from a positive partner only one reason stands out- LUCK! which could wane if you have done it consistently with that partner unprotected. If we put 2 and 2 . . . we would still arrive at a miracle especially since you said it was for 8 years.Let me further expose your ignorance lawyer Mba. Have you heard of Discordance or HIV discordant couples? Please go read further and get back to me shoo... shoo ![]() |
mbaemeka: I don't know why you are talking like this Oga. There are 2 reasons one could get a false negative result and they're easily understood. The first is during the widow period and the second is if the test shows undetectable levels of the virus and this is usually for someone that was confirmed positive before now. The fact that the virus is undetectable doesn't mean the result was negative in fact if samples of the gut or even fluid are tested they will always test positive. But that is different from her case because from 2002-2009 she tested 13 times and all were positive. She said so herself and she said that she had gone through phases of having zero symptoms to which she never once tested negative. That's why she cried her eyes out at the VCT for 3 hrs. The evidences are here for all to see and read.Hmmm! I can see someone has gone to dust his HIV 101 lecture notes ![]() Well, you are gradually getting there; while you are at it, also Google up or rather read up the possibility of not getting infected even when you have a positive partner. ![]() |
mbaemeka: I have read her story(s) so many times- all 3 of themThe problem with you is that you think you know too much, but thats your undoing She met her husband in 2002, they had intimate contact before she went to the healing school and he is still negative till date. He (the husband) never knew she had HIV even though he had his suspicions and her trip to the HS was covert, he was told she was going for a christian conference You seem to have very little knowledge about HIV as the comments in bold reveal so, I think you should go do some little research first. mbaemeka: Nope her CD4 dropped 3 weeks ago- that part was clear. She said the ARVs weren't working so she decided to go back to her herbs and she has seen results to which we bless God for. If we want to prove that she will still test positive now (even after improving by taking herbs and living symptom-free) we can ask her to do so. So all that talk about placebos or faulty strips doesn't add up and you know it.She sometimes drops her ARV's because of side effect of the drugs not because they aren't working dude, shes not the only HIV positive person in the world; there are millions of them living a very normal life with medications. Yes its possible for her to still have either negative or positive results depending on several factors. |
mbaemeka: Your guess is as good as mineLadies and gentlemen...the award for the most prolific investigative lawyer on Nairaland goes to.....drums rolling..... mbaemeka ![]() |
mbaemeka: She lived free of those symptoms that plagued her for a full year after she had cancelled her payments to her doctor. She got married, had a child yet her husband tested negative till date. Even when she said all these SirJohn and co repeatedly called her names including "CE worker, liar, fraud etc." Today that same liar is all of a sudden saying the truth that need not be questioned including how improved her writings have become within a very short span.So tell me Barr. mbaemeka, what are you trying to insinuate by the statement in bold? ![]() |
mbaemeka: SirJohn's rebuttals make no sense. He is using the videos and pictures provided by the HS for all to see to explain his account. Anyone can see a picture of a woman in a wheelchair and say "this is not the wheelchair she came in". How would we know you are not lying? Can you give us your own pictures showing that she came in a different wheelchair or that she could walk before then?Oh really, why not try going to the healing school to take pictures yourself... If you and your camera come back in one piece then maybe I'll try mbaemeka: It is only people that want to believe him that will and that's because you are not yet sick to the point that your doctors have given up on you. At that point, you will remember us.Oh please! remember you?? ![]() |
mbaemeka: Ha ha ha ha. The Horror of living symptom-free for over a year? The Horror of not taking any drugs or herbs for over a year? You guys are funny. She testified repeatedly that she's not a CE member. She only went to the HS, got healed and went back to her life. What Horror again are you talking about? Was she not living in horror for 8 years before going to the HS? Has she not lived in horror well after denouncing her healing after leaving the HS? Did you not see her write that her CD4 dropped to below 380, is that CEs fault too?As usual, you turn a blind eye to the truth; she lived for 8 years with the virus and was able to conceal this from her fiance, how do you explain that? off course you didn't bother to think how that was possible did you? Well read her story again, perhaps it will make sense to you now. She obviously was on other medications that helped lower her viral loads and give her symptom free periods; that explains why the husband is still negative despite contacts with her even before the healing school. She even said she was symptom free for two years or more at some point before going to the healing school. Her CD4 levels dropped because she stayed away from her medications, shes gone back to them and is better now. Shes been strong for about twelve years and will be stronger. |
AlfaSelltzer: @SirJohn, I'm waiting for your response. If Kenya get healed by Joagbaje, and she is healed, and testifies after several tests. What would be your reaction? Go on and wait for her to change the testimonies? Apologise to Joagbaje and CEC and MOGs you called names? Be mute? Or glorify God?I will not just apologize, but like I have said over the years in this forum, I will do so in five national daily's ![]() AlfaSelltzer: Note, hope you know I'm not Religious? But I can't get how of all folks round the world who visited and visits the healing school, with their pictures and videos documented as 'evidence' and their medical reports published, how come no countries or territory claimed the healing school was a scam as their citizens died of a disease that Pastor Chris claimed to have healed. No single hospital whose names are on these medical reports ever came out to refute these claims, nor the fact that such people were never their patients? This however does not negate the fact that you and kenya might have experience something that looks like scam, but does that proves the healing school is a scam? Have you ever thought whether in your situation or case you were a victim of bureaucratic bottle necks there and Chris might not have been aware? There has been lots of accounts just like mine on the internet but you see people have short memories and would rather believe in false hope to their destruction. This is one of such accounts from South Africa which I posted way back in 2010, the story is still online but do people care?
Read a similar story from SA: A victim of Chris Oyakhilome`s scam is Lerato Maise. Her hope that her daughter Mathapelo would be healed was dashed after visiting Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s healing school. Mathapelo was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2005 and attended two weeks of healing sessions at the Christ Embassy Church. She was 10 at the time. Lerato Maise said that on the day of the supposed healing at one of the church’s seminars, her daughter was well enough to stand on her own but was put in a wheelchair. “I was new at the church and did not understand the procedure,” she said. “The other congregants were in another room and watched us on a video link-up. “After the pastor prayed for my daughter they asked her to stand up as if she were healed. “The congregants shouted with joy when they saw her walking.” Maisela said she believed people have the power to heal. “Pastor Chris took advantage of my desperate situation,” she said. “I believe that God gives people power but if they are greedy they will be punished.” Maisela’s daughter died shortly after her visit to the pastor. “My daughter was an amazing child and I was willing to do anything to make sure she became better. “I am glad that he is exposed. He should stop taking advantage of people.” Maisela has not gone back to the church since the incident. (Names were changed for fear of reprisal) The truth MUST be told!
I'd love for you to watch this masterpiece by Derren Brown, it explains a lot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuP5uOI7Xwc |
Joagbaje: She didn't expose anything . She only expose herself. It was obvious she was healed. When she came to testify here. You guys taught it was me having double user ID. I called her to verify . And she cleared my heart. I came back here to testify she is real , she even had Kenya accent , you guys still laughed . Her doctor testified , you guys still laughed. She was in perfect health for over one year after testing negative She was very insultive to you guys Until I called her and cautioned her . You can't be insulting people in the name of God. It's between her and God why she lost the healing. Probably her character. But there was still hope . I told her what to do. Until you guys talked her out of faith. John you should know that God will hold you responsible for everyone who's faith you destroy in the healing power of Jesus you once believed.I don't know who you are referring to as 'you', but all my reaction to the initial false testimony by @Kenyan28 is still here on NL including the one I just attached now which I posted over a year before she realized herself. I also warned her that you and your crew will eventually blame her and accuse her of not keeping her healing; these repeated warnings are all documented here on NL. I doubted her story because I knew there was a lot she was holding back and her repeated claims of 'I am healed...I am healed" is just a way of silencing that inner voice telling her she was lying. All that is documented here on NL. You can go and read them. You don't know God, so quit trying to play his advocate, He didn't tell you He needed one ![]()
In as much as I would not want to discourage anybody, the truth must still be told. The reason why A very common trend which I have noticed is that people who patronise faith healers also seek alternative means of getting well sometimes before and during consultation with the faith healers. The sad news however is that when they do get better, they either deny that they have been recieving treatment through orthodox or traditional medicine or they will never tell you the extent they have gone with the alternative treatment. Kenyan 28, you did mention in one of your posts about Benny Hinn being a true man of God, Ha Ha , I'd rather listen to his protoge (Chris). Well I too was in the same sorry state as you are now until I saw several videos where Benny himself openly owned up to several unbelievable lies he had told just to get his followers loyalty. Several people who like you claimed they were healed where secretly tracked down to their homes and it was startling to find out that these folks were never at all healed; some even died weeks later. So my dear friend, again I say: 'BE WISE'
|
Joagbaje: Pls eat your drug alone. We believe in divine immunity .You mean the type of divine immunity that nearly sent her to an early grave? ![]() You're just bitter she came out to expose your boss. |
Joagbaje: We've been here before . I gave you a contact of a lady who got healed of blindness. And you said she wasn't blind just because hospital didn't give her diagnosis.Mr Joagbaje there you go with your lies again. Our engagement is still here on NL for all to reference. I never said she wasn't blind because she didn't have a medical report. She told me herself that she was never blind but started having peppery sensation in both eyes after an altercation with a neighbour. You simply did what your master does which is garnish cases and form stories of healing based on false representation. I also called the lady's brother and he couldn't also say emphatically that her sister was blind. By the time I called her again after giving you feedback from our conversation, she became hostile and wouldn't talk again nor pick my calls (very typical of someone trying to evade being caught) That was what happened and you know its the truth; its not too late to still verify; I'm sure the lady is still alive. |
Joagbaje: In addition . I have a case of ebola healed in Arusha town ,Tanzania. . If I lie about theses things the curse of God will be on me. God doesn't need a lie. If you don't believe in miracles today. You will believe when you need one somedayCome on Joagbaje just because we try to expose some of the trickery and charlatanism perpetrated in the healing school and by some self acclaimed faith healers does not make us non believers in miracles. I believe in the sovereignty of God and his ability to do what he wills. If I need a miracle someday, you can bet I won't be looking for you or Chris nor any other man. Now to your claims of healing HIV, I make bold to say that your videos are nothing but another theatrical display and proves absolutely nothing. You keep talking about how emaciated the guy looked; so? What does that prove? I wish I could put the guy on a hot sit and ask him some questions myself, probably one on one; I'm sure like all other cases, the whole story will fall apart. If that guy will be honest, I don't mind putting him on the hot sit |
Thank you for your time @Kenyan28, your answers were quite revealing |
