Slyr0x: The porting war continues with Airtel, one of the leading telecommunications companies in Nigeria seemingly throwing a shot at MTN in its television commercial, The move.

The ad shows an upwardly mobile man relocating from a dilapidated yellow painted building to a cleaner posh neighbourhood with houses painted red.

MTN recently aired its number portability ad with former Etisalat point-man Hafiz ‘Saka’ Oyetoro performing the now popular ‘I don port o’ song.

This ad is crap, who moves from an old apartment and leaves with the house number plate? worse still can someone be that dumb to want to place his former apartment number on his new apartment that is supposed to be an organised estate?
Lastly, take a look at the new residence and see how disorganized the house numbering is, is that the kind of estate you'd want to 'port' to? I dont think so

first pic seems to have been taken at Sahara restaurant, a Lebanese joint in Enugu. I think its Shisha she's smoking and not cigarette. Who doesn't do shisha?

That's the point I'm trying to make, you'd probably get a different result if you were in a different location.
When it comes to network experience, there is no clear winner at any time cos it depends on so many factors.
its very natural to hear too many people complain of bad network experience in MTN cos hey this guys have a whooping 43% of GSM market, the remainder is shared amongst other operators.

luluosas: Speed wise, you are very correct. Anytime I do speak about Glo speed here, some people usually think that, because Glo is my preferred network, that's why I do support them but, this is untrue, as I am just been sincere with the reality at hand.

Poor network service in some part of the country was largely due to the network modernization done by MTN late last year; This was of course seriously broadcasted in the media and NCC was quite aware of it.

For a network that has over 43% market share in a highly competitive industry, you've got to give it to them really for matching its competitors in a business where size is a huge challenge.

Y'all won't fully understand until MNP kicks of, then you'll understand that there's a difference between having 43million active subscribers and 20million.

If this was an MTN bashing thread, we would have seen multiple pages...hmmm

Just returned mine today for replacement after two weeks of frustration. poor battery life (I literarily carry my charger around like a BB user), phone gets unnecessarily hot, screen and body not as scratch resistant as was hyped and finally I hope they fixed the 'c101a006' windows store error that bricked my lumia 920 after a hard reset.

your perception about the HS of CE is irrelevant as far as am concerned. my reason is very simple: i have a daughter who was diagnosed of kidney failure in national hospital abuja where we had spent thousands of naira on tests and treatment with no improvement. but i later decided to head for the HS in lagos, this was like 2007/2008.

lo and behold, my daughter was healed of this kidney failure and is still healthy today as am typing. she, who had emaciated and always in sever pains, is healthy and about all the place today.

so if anyone has a prob with the HS school, i think this is a personal thing, instead of trading blames and calling names, i think you should seek Gods face about your situation. the MOG prayed for you and you claimed you were healed but now cos the situation changed does not make the MOG a liar instead check yourself.

the healing power of the Almighty God is still available today even more than the days of Jesus Christ, its only sad that we have fallen short on how to connect to this power. i believe deeply in this power and God has given some men this power to help our world today.

1. wife cam in late (even though its a normal practise) too late is very annoying, chior had sang all the songs, finished all the hymns and wife never come

2. over priced bloody MC came late and had the worst joke ever.

3. we thought we could plan it ourself, EPIC FAIL!!! get a wedding planner

4. My guys forgot to plan an after party, weddind ended by 10pm and people were looking for a place to go.

5. hired a church videographer missed most of the important shots and stopped the video to chase a babe.

6. hired a bouncy castle that no kid used.

7. custom made wedding clothes that my groom men and myself cant wear again.

o boy, infact, brothers and sisters, i fully support the simpliest wedding, tried to impress people and figured out the hard way that people can never be impressed no matter what.

This is a serious concern and must be attended to.

There is a huge difference actually, the whole idea is that people can read and be able to judge for themselves without any bias.

@Jo, this really shows how insensitive you are to the situation on ground, we are talking about a whole family that is on the verge of destruction occasioned by the poisonous doctrine this lady was fed in CE HS and here you are trying to score a point with a case we know nothing about.
Lets face the one before us now as the person is well alive and able to speak for herself.
Don't force her to give testimony on behalf of someone else because for all we know she may not have the accurate details. She may have told you about the lady before, but right now her eyes are open and she can understand better. as it is now, only that lady can speak for herself that is if she is still alive.
