Sirkay, hope you are good. I received a text message yesterday to come and collect my passport at shortest possible time in order to help decongest storage. Yours might be ready too or is also on the way since biometrics was just ten days apart. I also got a missed call from the contact officer at Servicom.
Please note, my portal did not reflect this development.
DIY is not bad based on my experience at Oyo

I did a message to you here in Wednesday that the officer there got in touch with me that it is ready. That you should call your link there. It was collected this morning by my wife

Hello good day my oga, Please what is the full address of the Oyo capturing center? There’s one at ibadan but the Oyo itself is very close to me. Thanks[/quote]

On NIS page, choose Oyo State as your capturing state, then choose Oyo as your capturing centre.

Oyo town capturing centre is on the first turn to your left as you turn into Aawe road, Oyo town. Ask okada guys at Owode, Oyo to take you to immigration office. It's #500

Thank you for this..I actually plan going there too but my brothers experience is quite different from this though.

Yes fast and quite easy but they demanded money from him o..He applied and paid online too..he said he parted with about extra #12k there..Maybe they have changed now..that was some few months ago

No one asked me for a kobo. I saw it in the officer's body language yesterday that they were very careful with applicants.

I'm planning on starting my registration process next week or 2 weeks now and I want to do it in Ilorin. I want to go through the site, I've been told Ilorin office is DIY friendly. I want to know how long it'll take me to get it if I start the application process this month.

Use Oyo town passport office

I had a very impressive experience at Oyo town passport office yesterday. Was there to renew my wife and children's expired passports. It's DIY friendly.

Got there with my family by 8.55am. By 9.10am, officer A. A. Popoola addressed all of us seated under the shed provided. He told us about how efficient they are and that the only thing that can hinder an applicant from capturing that same day is NIN.

Few minutes later, officer M. Kasumu came out to call online applicants (DIY) to see him. I met him with all required documents, which he arranged properly for me, asked that I get yellow files for each of my family members, which I did, after which he placed each documents in each file for them all and asked me to wait under the shed.

Ten minutes later, he came out to call my family and I to come for capturing. We were led into the capturing room, where my wife and children were attended to by officer Lawson and his team. They were very fast here.

I took my time to relate with all the officers that I mentioned their names, they were very friendly and did their job very well. I was told their passports would be ready within the next 3 weeks.

No one asked for a dime from me. It took us just 50 minutes to complete all the process there. Their level of professionalism amazed me. Their Oga patapata is a male and his second in command a female.

Those who came to collect their passports yesterday, where promptly attended to within minutes.

I rate them 10/10 with what I experienced there yesterday.

How long does DIY to process fresh passports in Lagos
Or should I go through agent?

I'd advise you use Sagamu passport office. It's DIY friendly either for fresh passport or renewal.

Thanks to all regular contributors. God bless. Did DIY And capturing with the help of the thread at sagamu today. Only thing I noticed was that some of the officers Dey always para when they realize you’re DIY .. anyways that’s none of my concern lol .. but pls I wanna confirm something here pls cus I got another information from the officer I asked . The collection date on the print out I was given stated to pick up
05/10/23 and the officer mentioned 2months. What would someone advise me please .. so to make tracking easy and straightforward for me since I’m DIY..

I did mine too (DIY) at Sagamu last year. The slip given me stated a week too, but got my passport exactly a month after I captured. Be rest assured, you are likely to have your passport issued by October 29. I got notified by them by text message when my passport was ready for collection. Just zero your mind to October 29

I did online international passport application here in Nigeria.

My personal details have been saved and stored on their website.

I have gotten to stage where I will pay N15,000 application fee.

I selected Paxify and cash but the next step is not self-explanatory.

This is the image below

I don’t completely understand what they mean.

Do they mean I go to Zenith bank and make the deposit with Paxify as account name ?

Use Paystack. It's there among the payment options and self explanatory. All the best

Someone also told me about Shagam office. I plan to go there from Lagos next week to apply for intl passport.

1. Please tell me what I need to go along with
2. Do I need to do anything online before going
3. How much does the whole process cost

You need to apply online, either renewal or new one. It is 25K for it and 1K bank charges.

Good morning fam. J am here to say a very big thank you to this page. All the response and knowledge share helped me a great deal.

We had our capturing yesterday at Sagamu immigration
We arrived from Lagos by 8am just before the gates were opened. We queued up. This is line for collection and another for capturing. Went in and wrote down our names and we were given number. Just know that the numbers are useless because they will not be used.

After an hour we were addressed. People who had an insider had thier files already in the office and so they were attended to first even if thier number is 200. We did online so we started from scratch. We bought file 500 each, note we are à family of 4. I took them to the first office where they will arrange our file. They called my husband and requested for 6k administrative fee and he did not pay and his file was dumped somewhere.

We were not attended to until 4-5 when we went in for document verification and we were done with capturing around 7.

My two cent. Please make sure your documents are complete if you don't want Wahala.

If you have money you can pay the administrative fee and your file will be taken in immediately. For me i will even recommend this than paying 45k to an agent. Please note nobody will follow up on your file because of 6k but be rest assured that your passport will be produced just like everyone who captured on same date

If you don't have money my brother just buy coke and chill because you will be attended to but you go follow them close. Arrange your mind wella make you no feel am.

If you have NIN issues i beg you go and verify your NIN. check your status on the immigration portal to know your status. You don't want to experience the pain of waiting until you get to the capturing stage only to find out your NIN is not validated, e go remain small make you cry
Note after going to NIN to validate it. It might not reflect on your immigration portal. Don't be scared you will be able to capture .

Sagamu passport collection date is usually less than a week. I beg you don't follow that date on your paper. Because you will go there and come back empty handed. Use your online application status to track when your passport will be ready or your can wait like 2 months before going back.

Thank you all

Passport issuance at Sagamu office is not always delayed like other offices. You'll have your passport issued within 1 month. I got mine within a month last year December, while some that processed theirs there this year got theirs the following week that they captured and some two weeks after capturing.

They do send text messages to inform applicants that their passport is ready for collection.

Hi
I will be coming from Lagos, do I need a stamp from the court of Ogun state?
Do I need to open my file a day before capturing
?
Also, anyone who has gone to Shagamu passport office from lag, kindly direct me.

Any other information I need to know will be highly appreciated. I will be capturing this Monday.

Thanks

Make sure you leave Lagos early by 6.30am. From Ojota park, board Sagamu vehicle, alight at the petrol station by Sagamu junction and take a bike to passport office. It shouldn't be more than #200 from here. If you follow the vehicle to the park, which is the last bus stop, it's about #400 from there.

You don't need to go there a day before your capturing day to open your file. Outside the passport office, ask the guy at the business centre there to direct you to the court they do make use of.

I did mine (DIY renewal) last year November 16th, got there by 10am, asked to pay 6K admin charges, which I refused to pay (I saw some people bargaining with the officers at the servicom office by the gate), captured around 2.45pm and got my passport 16th December last year. They sent text message to me on the 15th of December that my passport was ready for collection.

I believe Sagamu passport office is still the best around the South West for now.

Arteta wins fourth Manager of the Month of 2022/23

Mikel Arteta has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for the fourth time this season, after being awarded March’s award.

The boss once again came out on top of the voting after guiding us to four wins from four during the month, collecting the maximum 12 points from our matches against Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham and Crystal Palace.

That saw him edge out fellow Spaniards Pep Guardiola and Unai Emery, as well as Roberto De Zerbi to see him add to his triumphs in August, November/December and January.

It is his fourth win from five nominations this campaign, and takes his overall tally to six during his time in charge of us - moving him to joint-ninth in the all-time standings.

He is now just one behind Jurgen Klopp’s record of five successes during a single season, which occurred during Liverpool’s Premier League title-winning season of 2019/20.

Saka named PL Player of the Month for March

Bukayo Saka has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for March.

It is our forward’s first divisional success of his career, as he becomes the 22nd different player to win the prize in our colours - the most of any other club in the league's history.

Buyako started the month with a goal and assist in our 4-0 win against Everton, and ended it with three goal involvements in Sunday's win over Crystal Palace, which saw him get on the scoresheet twice to become the first player to reach double figures for goals and assists in the division this term.

That scintillating form saw him come out on top of the voting, ahead of teammate Leandro Trossard - who laid on five assists during the month - as well as Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Brighton & Hove Albion's Alexis Mac Allister and Tyrone Mings of Aston Villa.

It is the second time this season the prize has been handed to one of our squad, with Martin Odegaard receiving the November/December award.

Politics / Re: Petrol Is Now #195 Per Litre by SirKay3(m): 7:18pm On Feb 06, 2023
This is what I found while searching online for what could have happened. It was in the dailies of yesterday.

Oil marketers said the agreement was reached at a meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, as participants resolved that beginning from Monday, February 6, 2023, the pump price of petrol should not exceed N195/litre, a development which dealers, particularly independent marketers, described as tough due to the high ex-depot price of the commodity.
Politics / Petrol Is Now #195 Per Litre by SirKay3(m): 7:05pm On Feb 06, 2023
Yes, the headline is not misleading. I escorted a neighbor to Gastab petrol station at my area in Ibadan this evening to buy petrol. We were surprised, as it's being sold for #195. The manager told us that they were directed to change it to #195 from #270 per litre.

Arteta named January's PL Manager of the Month

For the third time this season Mikel Arteta has been awarded the Premier League Manager of the Month award, following another fine run of results in January.

The boss has now received the trophy three times out of the four occasions it has been awarded, having also come out on top in August as well as November/December.

January saw us pick up seven points from nine during a tricky run of fixtures, which began with a goalless draw against Newcastle United before we triumphed at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by a 2-0 margin.

Then Eddie Nketiah's last-gasp goal sealed a 3-2 win against Manchester United at the Emirates to restore our five-point cushion at the top of the table.

After picking up the trophy once again, the boss reflected on our recent form, saying: "After the World Cup break, you have certain questions - how is the team going to react, are we ready and have we lost that momentum?

"I don't think we did, I think we used that time really well. We were lucky not to have some big problems in that period and the team responded by winning a lot of games.

It's difficult to choose the best moment because we had some big ones, but obviously the game that we won away at Spurs was a key one."

Mikel has now won five Manager of the Month awards during his three years in charge, having previously been victorious in September 2021 and March 2022 before this campaign.

He has become the first Arsenal manager to win the award three times in a single season, which is the first time that has happened in the division since Jurgen Klopp won five in 2019/20.
