Why this thread in the first place?

The players earning the millions are not enemies now! Why on earth should we be abusing each other over things that's supposed to breed friendship?

Please, let's stop using foul languages in our threads/posts henceforth. It's an appeal please.

Meanwhile, TTBD

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Will Thierry Henry Leave Arsenal. by SirKay3(m): 9:01am On Jun 09, 2007
I dont think he'ld leave. English press are known to always blow negative news out of proportion.

Read this:

Henry told ESPNSoccernet Press Pass: 'It's great to hear [being linked to AC Milan]. How can you not think that? On the other side as I said to you, and so many times at the moment, I'm an Arsenal player.

'Everybody knows that a lot of stuff happened at the club recently that wasn't supposed to happen. In terms of the departure of Mr Dein, the bosses have been unsettled and a lot of players have been unsettled in the club. So the only thing I can tell you is right now I'm an Arsenal player but hearing that is nice to hear, I can't deny it.

The Gunners' record goalscorer did not hide his disappointment at Dein's exit. He said: 'I was devastated. Everybody who knows Mr Dein, we know that the guy loves football. He knew everybody at the stadium, the name of everybody and I mean everybody at the club, whether you play for the youth team or you clean the dressing room - he knew everybody.

'He's the type of guy who used to turn up raining, snowing, windy, to watch the under-17s, the under-19s, the reserves - everybody - on his own at the training ground and one person that I wouldn't have liked to leave the board, would have been Mr Dein.

'But it's out of my hands, I'm not up there. I don't know what happened, and I don't want to know what happened.'

I believe it's just to hit the board members rightly with the displeasure in the way and manner things have been of late. Remember he's not the only one saying he may leave, Cesc is also inclusive.

A kind of "threat", I'll say.

Another one:

'But I would like to say that whatever happened, Mr Dein leaving wasn't a clever move.

'So far I'm here, talking to you, about a thing that happened that I didn't agree with but sometimes that's just the way it is. It happened, and we have to move on.'

Despite Henry's future in north London being in doubt, he sees the signs of recovery for an Arsenal side which has been off the pace in the Premiership in recent seasons.

'The potential is definitely there,' he told ESPNSoccernet Press Pass. 'The signs are definitely there. So now let's hope we can put that all together and bring back some silverware. Man United didn't win the league for three years and finally they did it - who would have said that 10 years ago? So things happen sometimes, you have to keep going and make sure you can be better and have a great season next season.'

@ Akola,

If Shevy is to be given us without a pence, no problem. We dont need Gudicinni.

We should sell Flamini(£4m), Alaideire(£5m), Senderos(£3m), Ljungberg(£5m), Song(£3m), Reyes(£10m). We make £30m, totalling £50m with the promised transfer fund.

We need to buy Quaressma £10m, Torress £15m, Babel £6m, Alves £5m, Moutinho £5m, D. Bent £8m.

If your phone pack contains a CD, data or USB cable, then it is very very easy for you to do what you craved for.

Rip the songs to your laptop or PC, load the phone CD to your PC/Laptop, connect the data/USB cable to your phone/PC. Just do file transfer. It takes about 5mins to do this.

I use N73 and it's very easy for me to transfer files to my phone

@ Akolawole,

Thanks for bringing up the issue again. Am very sorry for not coming up with feedback as to how the whole thing went eventually.

Been handling a project @ work for one of my ogas, who happens to be on vacation and had been combining my duties with his, which made me to be roaming in the last one month. The day I sent mail to you, was the only day I was free for 10mins. I hardly call Kitaun as before on phone again. In fact, my DSTV subscription expired without my knowledge, which is off the way I do things. I've been disorganised of late.

My kids had been complaining that I abandoned them at home! You can imagine wetin gaari money is causing us.

I told Kitaun when you paid into the account, but dont know who did. He paid in also and at the end as he did the breakdown was how it went eventually.

The Sports Editor of Vanguard Newspaper (Onochie) was the one who did the presentation on our behalf (I spoke with the stabbed guy's Mum on phone), he has a photoshot with them and yet to publish it, cos he is also not on ground.

I called his cellphone this morning, it was not available. I'ld make sure I talk with him before the end of the week. Watch out for the publication any moment from now.

@ kitaun,

Thanks for taking time to do the explanation for me.

@ All,

Like Akolawole said, if we still have anything to give, we wouldnt mind.
