If you paid for courier service and still, after your documents arrives at VAC they still ask you to come pick up your passport instead of sending it to you, then that's a red flag I guess.

This happened to some of the guys here who had applied for other categories. Heard its been the trend as well.

Anyone did biometric 6th and 7th this month and has received visa or application transferred to VAC ? Because priority visa was removed and we were told our application will be treated as priority

I did biometrics on the 6th and today I got a mail saying my processed UK visa application has been received by the VAC, I applied for courier so they said they will send it to the address I put in the application. Fingers still crossed and hoping for the best.

1. Non criminating chats on any social media platform that dates back not just recently but most importantly must include recent conversations to proof "subsistence" If possible add screen shots of video calls you both made with each other (not compulsory but just to beef it up)

2. Marriage certificate.

I'll be applying for the visa as soon as my CAS is issued next week as a dependent.

My wife is yet to do change of name, so she's still bearing her maiden name across all her documents but we have marriage certificate and wedding pictures.

They pay little or no attention to change of name, western countries don't really follow the same surname Culter as we do in Nigeria, my sister is married to a Briton and till date she still bares our surname. From the little I know, the marriage certificate, wedding pictures and random pictures even the ones taken with family at the wedding, non incriminating chats before and after marriage if possible, then you are good to go.

Good evening great minds, please I urgently needs your contributions. I applied for student visa recently with my wife as dependant. However, I received a mail 5 days after our application that my wife should provide more supporting evidence to proof her relationship with me within 10days. We provided our wedding certificate, affidavit showing change of name, wedding pictures, casual pictures etc.

To cut it short my visa was approved while hers was denied. The stated reason for her denial was because she doesn't provide enough evidence to proof she's my wife. We were given room to appeal or pay £80 for Administrative review which will be addressed within the next 3 months.

My questions are:

1.) Was she denied because of omicron having provided all those supporting relationship evidences?

2.) Can she reapply for fresh visa/how soon can one reapply after denial?

3.) Is UK still given dependant Visa this period?

You would have enured you attach enough evidence at first hand "non criminating chats, pictures both wedding and random pictures" anything at all that links your both" nothing is too much. Moving forward i think you just need to add more and more evidence including bills paid together, show non criminating chats that dates back up till this moment to prove its still subsisting anything at all that links you both.

If she will start the application before the Registry, then put unmarried partner as well as your details, but if she's applying after the registry marriage, then she should put married.

I don't know on what storyline, i just need an advice if it's a safe route to consider or i should just shut his idea. Please I'm in dire need of urgent advice

Why not go for your own Masters degree or let him go for another one or better still apply for a P.hd?

Priority option is only available in VFS dubai, you either pay cash or via POS - 1095AED

Guys that are thinking going to stay 10days in a country not on the red list will help cut the cost for hotel. You are wrong . The law says you must not have been in a red list country 10days before you arrive the uk. Meaning you will have to nothing less than 20days in that country before you can enter the uk without any issue. So think about it well o

I beg to differ, when the UAE restricted flights from nigeria, they capped theirs at 14days, most of my colleagues at work who had visited Nigeria for vacation stayed 15 days in Ghana or benin Republic and were allowed entry when they returned, trust me the UAE is very strict on such rules, if the law says 10 days, then I think 11 days will suffice. Law is explicit and clear, 10 days is 10days, correct me if I am wrong. Regards.
