Well, to be clear, in my case as a Dubai resident, I snapshot the green pass and uploaded it to GDRFA in addition to the GDRFA return approval supporting documents which include Emirates ID front and back, passport data page, vaccination card and visa page. I don't know of unvaccinated bro, go to ica website if you are a resident of Abu Dhabi or to the gdfra of dubai if u live in Dubai to get green approval to re-enter.

Kenya and Turkish airline are strict on rapid antigen test to be conducted for you in Nairobi or in Istanbul during your transit as mandate to enter UAE. U need 70usd for the test in Nairobi and 10usd for transport to be arranged by the airport authority to and fro your test center of about 1.5km away from the airport.

This green pass to re-enter. I want to get something clear, after I get it here before going to Nigeria for vacation, I don't need to apply for any approval from nigeria when returning?

You are welcome. Well, I have never heard of the scenario where a dependant presents his own statement and they also requested for that of the main applicant when the funds in your account is in accordance with their prescription as per amount and required days. If there's, I will be open to learn. What I know and read on their website is that it can either be in her account or yours.

Since you are going as her dependant, the statement you use for POF can either be in her name or yours, but In this case I will advise you use your account as POF since its not been too long she used hers. This is to clear any skepticism or avoid them raising an eyebrow in this regard (POF). Just ensure the money has been in your account for the required number of days and the closing date in the statement does not exceed 30 days prior to your application. This is my opinion.

The guy who told me is also doing a second masters after Teesside. I have seen a couple of people on LinkedIn do another Masters after Teesside. This was even the major reason for speaking to the guy who gave me “his own opinion”

I am definitely shooting for Teesside cos it’s close to my Brothers place and the advance practice, I am just a bit skeptical about what next after the program there.

Career progression is the reason for her second Masters. Go for the school, their system is suitable.

Here is the thing, I have two admission.

1. Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow
1 year, £13k
(Chartered Institute Certified; CIWM, CIWEM, CIBSE)

2. Teesside University, Middlesbrough
2 years £7,5k
(advanced practice, 2nd year internship at a company)

Both for an MSc. Environmental Management

They are both not as expensive with respect to cost of living. Since they are up North.

Who ever told you that was being myopic. My wife school's there, she did her first maters there and she's running her second at the moment. Asides the very flexible payment plan the school has a very conducive academic environment that will help any focused and determined student excel academically. Her rating in the UK isn't bad as well. Well the choice is yours to make. Kalas

No, it was Ethiopian airline. For those returning home for holiday, its safe to just book a return ticket. My two cents

Anyone ever tried travelling from Nigeria yet with another airline other than Emirates airline? Its specified on the Emirates website that you can travel from Nigeria as a UAE resident. How ever, this will not be applicable to Emirates airline as they are yet to resume flights from nigeria

I just had a conversation with a colleague who applied for UK tier 4 dependant visa but was denied. He declared he has someone in the UK other than his wife the main applicant (his younger sister who's married to a UK citizen) and then many question ensued from there during his interview. To cut long story short he was denied on grounds that they don't think he has any intentions to leave the UK upon expiration of the wife's visa.
From this what I will advise is, if you declare you know someone other than the main applicant (talking of dependant applicants under tier 4), be ready to face questions that ensue afterwards as well as the consequences. On the other hand if you fail to declare you have a relative other than the main applicant, the issue is you might be caught and banned (that is if there's any way they will find out) but if you have never declared your relative in the UK in any application to the UK before, you know you won't be staying with them or relying on them for anything, and you know you don't have the requisite informations about them as per income, and the rest, just say NO. My two cents.

I went through your posts and I must say, it must have been really hard for you getting that mail, but never still there's still light at the end of the turnel. However, I don't think your location (Dubai) played any role in the refussal, hence you can reapply from here and correct the mistakes made during your last application, wish you the best.

Emirates cancelled my flight from Lagos to Dubai yesterday the second time in one month. Flight rescheduled to 30th Sept. Anyone with useful information on how residence visa holders can travel to Dubai from Nigeria should pls tell us.

Emirates is out of it. Until the ban is fully lifted, they wont fly you even as a resident who has fulfilled the requirements.

Based on the testimony of one of us here that was sent to my inbox, the best bet is for you to go to the airport, where you find different airline airport offices. They all have their different requirements and procedures, he flew through Rwanda airline at the end of the day but was Initially rejected by Ethiopian airline and one other airline. They hmgave him a breakdown of what a d what they needed, he did the needful and he's in dubai now. It depends on the airline because as we speak, residents are allowed to fly back but its now depending on the individual airline courier to accept or not
