well i think it is possible that she didn't however, very hard to believe IMHO. cox peer pressure is a powerful force that not everyone can resist.

so since you cant confirm this from any other source, you might as well believe her cox she might be telling the truth.

amosexy:
How many candy can u give your kids in a day,
i'd say 2 or 3

amosexy:
can u let them have as much as they want in a day,
no, it is very unhealthy for them and it spoils them

amosexy:
Is it gud for kids to wake early in the morning demanding for candy, gum, chocolate e.tc and u give it to them ?
they are kids, so they dont really know whether it is good or bad, they just want candy. so that should be left to the parent to make that decision for them. and i dont think it is right to give them candy in the morning when they demand for it. cox then you are encouraging them to retain such behaviors which is not good.

amosexy:
Is it proper for parent to use candy to encourage their kids to eat ?
no, IMO i dont think it is proper for any reason, cox again you are encouraging a habit which in some cases maybe very hard to break and maybe too late.

amosexy:
Does mother have to give their kids everything thing they demanded for ?
i dont think that it is a good behavior/habit to encourage. the mother should learn how to say NO to some demands his son makes. it doesn't make her a better/good mother by giving him everything he demands. candies are not good for kids. it is sugar, so intake of it should be monitored.

amosexy:
Should mothers really be blamed for their kids bad behaviours ?
mothers are only ONE person. they cant carry everything on their head. i really think it is very UNFAIR to blame them for everything that goes wrong with their children behaviors. they cant do it all alone. it takes a village to raise a child. the father should be blamed equally for their children misbehaving if they are looking for whom to blame.

amosexy:
Should a mother encourage her teenage daughter to use birth control pills ?
the issue of using birth control, totally IMO, is a private decision. depending on the beliefs of the party involved. it may be seen as encouraging promiscuity which i dont think so. however, if i know that my daughter is sexually active, i would strongly advice her to use protection for own her sake. so that decision depends on the person religious/personals beliefs.

amosexy:
Is it proper and Godly for a mother to take her child for an abortion when the foetus is healthy ?
again this issue depends on the religious/personals beliefs of the person. i personally dont like and dont support abortion. so in my view i wouldnt do it however, everyone is different, many dont have a problem with it. so it depends on the person's beliefs to judge when it is wrong or right to do so.

What if this person is diabetic or diabetes runs in her family. Some of the food you suggested are very high in sugars and carbs, for someone that is just pre-diabetic not even type 1 or type 2 diabetes that is just a loaded gun waiting to go off.

My advise for poster, seek professional help, have your blood work done and if everything checks out, your doctor can refer you to a nutritionist who will help you with a proper diet.
yes, if the person is diabetic, then they shouldn't use this plan, so am guessing the poster doesnt have one at least he/she didn't state it.

OgidiBoy:
Why is it that some people at this day and age still think just eating fatty foods make you fat. I barely ever eat Nigerian food so it's all the junk food for me, I eat all that junk food and not gain a single pound.
you are right, it is just as hard for a skinny person to gain weight, as it is hard for a fat person to lose weight, but sometimes people think all you just need to do is to eat Macdonald, burger king, and all the burgers in the world, including the junk foods and viola you will just gain weight. if only it was that easy !

so in order for you to gain weight, you need a plan as a person who needs to lose weight does.

the healthful way to gain weight is to build yourself up with patient and consistent training while eating nutritious foods containing enough extra calories to support the weight gain.

if you add extra snacks of high calories nutritious foods such as a peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk before bedtime, and healthful mid afternoon fruit smoothie or milkshake, you can add 700 to 800 extra calorie a day and achieve a healthful weight gain of 1 to 1 half pounds per week.

choose calorie dense snacks, such as fruit yogurt, granola, dried fruits, apple or grape juice, nuts, sunflower seeds, fig bars, and baked potatoes topped with a low fat cheese.

add extra calories to the milk or juice you drink by tossing in a frozen banana or other fruit and whipping up a smoothie in the blender.
trying eating more food at each meal. if you normally eat one sandwich for lunch, try eating an extra sandwich between meals.

choose, milkshake instead of milk, peanut butter instead of lean meat, an avocado instead of a cucumber and a blueberry bran muffin instead of whole wheat bread. etc

when you do eat carrots, dip them in hummus and use creamy dressing on salads, yogurt on fruit, cottage cheese on potatoes, and so forth.

for heart health, be sure to choose the good fats and limit your intake of saturated fats. eat more frequently, spend more time eating each meal.

it takes time to gain weight cause everyone metabolism is different, but with enough practice, patience, and good habits, you will surly add weight but I'd suggest you do it in a healthful way instead of packing on burgers and junk foods which may kill your heart and health

hope this helps

but for me i believe, or should beg the parent that

we should think on how we must be disciplined instead of thinking on how to discipline our child on any wrong doing.

by discipline yourself,
your child learn how to control himself.

children learn by imitation so what you give them is what they will return to you
this your plan while it sounds good, doesn't always apply in every case coz some or should i say many parents conduct themselves in a very good manner, very respectful, etc. but still their children are totally the opposite of them. remember, it takes a village to raise a child, even if the parents are disciplined, children can still learn how to be disrespect others etc. schools, friends, media, and the society as whole contribute to this. that's why i believe in disciplining the child.

i think she just picked on your dress sense and body build just to let you know you are not her type

so even if you dress properly in her view and get fat, she will still find another excuse to put you off.

however; it doesnt necessary mean that when someone comment on your appearnace that it automatically mean they dont like the person, it could be the

honest truth though, but just the way she acts is kinda a sign i don't want you.

if even they dnt want to join extracurricular activity in school well thats kinda their choice, but at home especially if they are still in elementary school, or preschool. i'd suggest maybe finding out why they dont want to join any extracurricular activity, it could something you can easily conceive them to change their mind. if they dont want to join competitive sports, i suggest maybe try swimming, dancing, cycling, skateboarding, yoga, walking, etc. Find out their interests.

i think you should kinda make them do some exercise, if even they are reluctant. but dont force them, as in punishment. i'd suggest maybe limiting the TV time, and video game, computer time if they use one so that they would be forced to play outside. Establish a regular schedule for physical activity, catching ball, basketball, etc and maybe you should join them just to make it more energetic for it. but still i wouldnt let them go without doing some exercising
