The IGP of is jst lying here. because several eye witness accounts including the sister to one of the murdered students says that some police men where there & even gave support for their killing. The IGP is jst saving our own, if not, how can mobs with ordinary stone chase police men with guns? Jst firing in the air will desperse the mob. Abeg, make no body gree make them kill am ooo because who don die don die. This is naija for u with plenty of daily drama to watch & see .

Most people her are jst talking rubbish. How can an entire Aluu communities be wiped out? Aluu has more than 8 different villages under Aluu. because few vigilante members were involved in killing some alleged criminals who happens to be students of uniport. Its unfortunate though, but similar things has been happening in different parts of nigeria over the yrs and no community or town has been wiped out. If that is the case, let nigeria be wiped out for sins of those we call our leaders both past and present. because there is so atrocities in the country.

I think Bankole is very correct here. But he too would been in office until deat comes if not that he was diegraced out of office for stealing publice funds amounting to several millions of naira, pounds and dollars

According to the V C of uniport, some those standing and watching while the killing was going on where actually uniport students living in Aluu. The V C blamed them for not reacting by making calls to the police or the radio stations to alert the security agents. They where there watching and filming the incident with there mobiles and digital cameras. And this is the reason why a senator yesterday said that the security agents find & arrest anybody found on scene whether he/she is among the vigilant group or not.

The question now is, what will happen after burning down the village? because i know so many of the students lives in that Aluu community. Maybe the villagers will begin to hunt them back after burning their houses. They should allowed the govt to take charge instead of causing more havoc. At the end, there will be more casualties on both sides. Give peace a chance pls

Yes, i share the feelings of this writer as well. In as much as we all condenm the murder of those students in whatever way, we should also see the decay in our system as a whole. What happened in Aluu community, has been happening in nigeria and still happening everday in nigeria. If the govt both past & present has been punishing offenders of the law adequately, nigeria would have been a better place today. A situation where people commit very serious crime & they allowed to go scout free warrants things like this. To add to Desola's list. Where are the killers of Bola Ige, marshal harry, A.K Dikibo, Apo 6. The list goes on & on like that. The killing of those students received wide condemnation because 1. They are students 2. It happened in a university enveronment 3. Similar thing has happened earlier in Mubi. All in all, Desola is only blaming the govt for system decay

The truth is that what happened in Aluu community has been happening every where and every day in naija. The problem is, the govt has never adequately punished any body or groups engaging in an act like this. When an illegal acts is allowed for over a period of time, it will becomes an accepted way. The govt. Shld wake up to their responsibilities of enforcing & punishing offenders
