To what end is this nonsense? I must confess my disappointment in the Deji, he stooped too low to do that. Without any disagreement you suddenly woke up with a hateful and tribal sentiment.

Could it be fear ? But fear of what ? There has been no threat to his throne. The igbos are doing their thing, why won't he let em be !

That says a lot on how solecistic that Oba is. Obas take actions for reasonable and noble causes, but this is a sheer case of a repressed bigotry.

Cowards !
He was made Eze Indigbo by few traders in d market does not make him an equal to the Deji or his throne. U should understand that. That is why Nigerians need to go to school to understand cultural relativism in our society. Respect d culture of others if u need to be respected. If was there at d time of flogging this so called Eze Indigbo, I would have introduced to them a particular Cain we use in my community to flog disrespectful community members called" Ere kenke". After flogging d Eze with this "Ere kenke", he will renounce his EzeEzeship there instantly

After listening to senator Dino Malays, he confirmed that Amaechi will be screened and confirmed next week when the senators returns. because no court in Nigeria has indicted Amaechi yet therefore, he Amaechi is innocent.Governor Wike's fear is this; if Amaechi as a governor could ruffle feather with GEJ a President and survived. Even plotting for PDP and GEJ's downfall that he Wike, wouldn't have any chance of survival if Amaechi decides to come after him as a minister. This is just d fear of Wike.

Bobo if u think amaechi will be cleared just like that, u r on a long thing.
So far the chairman of that ethical committee is a pdp man and rivers state senator is one of the members in the committee.
Amaechi is playing a silly god and he is so foolish in his thinking. Do u think fayemi just got comfirmation by pdp senators and fayose without meeting them?
Do u think fashola didnt meet with tinubu and clarify issues before he got cleared by those tinubu's senators?
Amaechi shud do the simple needful, go meet this people, its not bad playing the biblical nicodemus, once in a while u need to scratch one's back so urs too can be scratch. Make him dey form kingkong na, wetin consain me with a thief.
And lemme tell u d fact, amaechi will lose it and nigeria and buhari will still be. No jupiter can do otherwise.
Am a pdp and will always be civil.
My brother, pls stop fooling yourself. No ministerial nominee need confirmation from senators from his/her state for screening and confirmation. It is unfortunate u watched d screening but did not observed or understand how d procedings were going. Every committee setup for d screening of d nominees has been collapsed into committee of d WHOLE. Go and check what d committee of d WHOLE mean.

Did u watch what happened on d floor of d senate d day senator Sekibo from Rivers state submitted d petition to d Senate? Are u a thief just by some other person merely calling u a thief? Anybody who calls u a thief must prove so in a court of competent jurisdiction. The ministerial nominees u are talking about have never been taken to court. No court in Nigeria have tried them. So they are as innocent as any other free Nigerians except u have something personal against them. For me, they are some of few available Nigerians who can deliver on any given assignment. They all performed well in their various States where they governed. If not that former governor Godswill Akpabio is a senator, I would to see him a minister.

If CV is all we need to do well in any public office, I think GEJ would have done Better than all the previous President put together because of his Phd . But here we are with a President that failed woefully with a PhD . we have been speaking and writing plenty grammar in this country that has never developed us. Every morning we watch Kakkaki and many other programs on TV where we see many Nigerians blow grammar everywhere. Yet we are where we are. Let those who can perform be given appointment. We are tired of this nonsense in this country. For example, I have heard people say Adams of Edo state did not go to school. Let's say he Adams did not go to school truly. But can anybody compare Edo state particularly Benin under Adams who didn't not go to school and Lucky Igbeniadon who went to one of the best school in the world? The difference is too clear

But Has the NNPC boss done exceptionally well for Olisa Metu and PDP to be quarreling APC led federal govt and the Nigerian society over who discovered Ibe Kachuwu? U discovered and didn't use him means failure. This because something intended and something actualized are two different things. If Buhari performs to the expectations of most Nigerians, the PDP and Olisa Metu will still claim they discovered Buhari too.

The truth is that Wike is on a mission to tarnish Amaechi's good image. But he cannot achieve that because many of us from Rivers state know the difference btw Wike and Amaechi. We know who meant well for Rivers people.Governor Wike invited Nigerian national football team to Rivers state for football matches in Adokiye Amasiemaka stadium. Wike celebrated his so called 100 days in office in Obi Wali international conference center. All built by Amaechi's govt. Which one did Wike as minister from Rivers state built in Rivers state? Nothing. Instead Wike supervised 10 months ASUU strike that consumed one full Academic session. He could not resolve the Issue with ASUU.. He was busy fighting to become a governor claiming he was fighting for GEJ. Which federal project did Wike bring to Rivers state? Nothing.

ODUBEZE:

1. If you are learned, you will know that you don't have to insult people to make a point.
2. If there is any reason at all why Amaechi has to deep his hands into the reserve, then let him explain what he used it for!
The State has the right to know what he did with the money
3. Don't forget he was owing workers
4. Are much did a rich oil producing State like Rivers generate? that he has to spend d money in the reserve.
5. For your information, Peter Obi of Anambra left N80B. Fashola of Lagos also faced similar issue from Federal Govt, he even took up some federal projects. Did you hear any worker saying that Fashola is owing?
6. If Peter Obi could leave N80b, what is an oil rich producing state owing workers talking about?
7. Stop mortgaging your future, tell yourself the truth!
Are u aware that the GEJ led federal govt owed 105 billion naira which he Amaechi Spent on federal projects which he was not refunded till he left office due to his problem with GEJ? I don't who u are and where u are. But I will advice u to write or say what u know and not something u do not know anything about. Which Peter Obi are talking about? How much does Anambra state receive in allocation monthly? How much is the internally generated revenue of Anambta state? How much projects did Peter Obi carried out to leave behind 80 billion naira? I advice u again, stop writing rubbish here. If u want to create a Topic here on nairaland, think and write about what u know. Or better still, create a topic where readers can help u out on any issue just as its being done on phone and business section of nairaland.

Who is this animal called ODUBEZE Writing about something he knows nothing about and calls it true fact. When did Romtimi Amaechi appointed Wike commissioner of Education in Rivers state? Again, which reserved fund is he talking about here? The funds reserved by Diets Spiff, Okilo, Ada George or Odili or the funds saved by Amaechi's government to be used in the period of cash crunch? Mr ODUBEZE, b4 u start misinforming those who don't know, the reserved funds was saved by Rotimi Amaechi's govt to be used in future. But when trouble BTW GEJ and Amaechi got to d level where several oil wells from Rivers state were ceded to states like Bayelsa, Abia and Akwa Ibom states, federal monthly allocation to Rivers state dropped from 18 to 7 billion naira. Amaechi had to dip his hands into the funds his saved in his first tenure to carry on running the the govt. Am a Rivers man. I know what happened and still happening in my state. Even Wike is findiing difficult financially that was he borrowed 30 billion in the fisrt month of his administration and also went to Revenue Mobilisation And fiscal Commision to see if the oil well saga can be resolved for Rivers state to collect rightful allocation. So don't come here to talk what u don't know.

Nobody is after south-south politicians. My people steals too much. For example, let's look at governor Wike of my state, Rivers state who has never worked or do any kind of known business b4 in his life. Even as a lawyer which he claimed, he has never practiced law or written or published any document or law reports most lawyers do in Nigeria annually. Yet governor is Wike is one of the richest people in my state today. Wike's properties alone in Rivers state is worth more than 10 billion naira. In 1999, governor Wike was living in his father's compound in a little self contained apartment in mile 4, Rumuepirikom, along the popular Ikwerre road in port Harcourt. From that 1999 when Wike became our LGA chairman to date after occupying different political offices, Wike has become a basterd billionaire that nobody dares him in Rivers State again. How manage?

I don't really believe Alams is dead. Alams is a conman. He must have faked his death to escape extradition to UK. But if truly he is dead, he Alams must have died because of the extradition Order by the British govt. Again, if no that Alams is a wanted man globally, he would have be flown out of the country for a better treatment instead of UPTH. But he cannot go to those counties for better treatment, so he died here at home instead of becoming James Ibori's cell mate. Among our thieving politician, who is next?
Politics / Re: Amaechi Merited Ministerial Position. by size40: 6:32pm On Oct 10, 2015
Yes, Amaechi deserved and merited a ministerial position and No one can stop him except for Buhari. For Wike, I know him a million times far more than those shouting Wike, wike here all d time. We are from the same LGA. The Wike we know today has never worked or do any kind of business b4 in his life. Even as a lawyer, he has never defended a case on behalf of anybody b4. B4 Wike joined politics in 1999, wike was living in his father's self contain apartment in Wike Bus stop along the popular Ikwerre road. But today, Wike is one of the richest persons in Rivers state . How did Wike make his money? Through politics. From becoming 2 times LGA chairman to Chief of staff to Rotimi Amaechi. From there to becoming a minister on Rotimi Amaechi's recommendation to GEJ. Today, in Rivers state, maybe apart from one or two individuals like Dump Briggs, I don't think there is any Rivers state son that can measure up with Wike financially including Rotimi Amaechi.
Politics / Re: Gej's Ouster: The Reason For Myriad Of Attacks Against AMAECHI by size40: 10:35am On Oct 10, 2015
Wike and his PDP are still bitter over their loss of grip on power. Whether they like it or not, Rotimi Amaechi is the man. Wike will be shamed at last. If Wike is truthful, why didn't he probe the entire tenure of Amaechi when he was the Chief of Staff? Wike should better face governance and stop putting Rivers State in a negative light. We have had enough of Wike, the PDP and their politics of hate, bitterness and anguish. The GEJ most people fought for in the state has gone. So Wike should be reasonable in his politicking b4 Rivers state boils and suffers the way we suffered in the hands of GEJ because of his quarrels with Amaechi. Wike is now leading Rivers state towards that direction with the way things are going right now. We will witness another wasteful 4 years by Wike because if he continues like this, he will soon witness federal might befallen on him which will make him fighting for survival instead of governance. A word is enough for the wise.
