PoliticsRe: Sahara Reporters: Jonathan Finally Sees Yar'adua by sjeezy8: 7:10am On Mar 01, 2010
They actually said that Jonathan even knew when yaradua was coming into Nigeria- but didnt tell the FEC. Jonathan is just playing along to go with the whole thing but he knows that real state of yaradua, he knows those in the cabal and he knows that yaradua will be impeached soon - the guy is just chlling.

The whole thing is political stuff.
PoliticsRe: US Requests Information On Yar’adua’s Health by sjeezy8: 7:02am On Mar 01, 2010
Obama knows already - The saudis an american ally and the reason why yaradua was sent hom will ahve already informed the US of his condition. The Americans pressured Saudias for yaradua to be sent back to Nigeria. - so Obama already knows and has known for the last months.

lol, why are yoruba people just LIARS, majority killed in these religious wars have been from the eastern part of nigeria, most Yoruba's in the north blend well with Hausa's, hiss
*blank stare* @billions of naira, iz it a bonz, grin
You are a fool

Since when did yorubas blend in well with those in the north?  huh Are easterners the only people who are christians or affected in the north during religous riots? NO

@all ignorant folks- theres a big misconception that a yoruba person who is christian is just as safe as a yoruba muslim in the north or a yoruba muslim is safe in the north. Abi yoruba christians dont attend the churches that are burned down by muslim hausas? riots in the north are more ethnic and political than religous.

You cant group all yorubas together because they arent like easterners who are ALL christian, and hausas who are ALL muslims.

- that is exactly why yorubas feel comfortable and stay mostly in the SW- they dont have to deal with terrorist northerners and ignorant christian fanatics in the SE and SS - who are in general no different than northerners.

Africom was wrong for Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Gambia, Tunisia, Morroco, Libya etc and has and will be wrong for Nigeria. That is why they are based in Stuttgart Germany.

We are against Africom in any shape or form and all forms neo / colonialism. We are capable of dismantling the sharia inspired terrorism/ insurgency in the north on our own, we don't need Africom.
hahah yea right . . . Nigerians themselves dont listen to eachother. In all honesty africans dont listen to eachother. So inorder for peace to be in Nigeria/africa, Africom needs to come.
When American military forces are in africa everyone is one their P's and Q's.

Africans in general love oyinbo people more than their fellow african. - not me im just saying what I see
So when africom is in Nigeria no oil thieves and islamic terrorist killing christians in the north.
PoliticsRe: Break Up Is Imminent - Ndpvf/psf by sjeezy8: 6:37pm On Feb 28, 2010
The break up everyone is talking about

The Africom Plan for Nigeria

Far more information is available on the other scenario — set in 2013 — which was a test of how Africom could respond to a crisis in Nigeria in which the Nigerian government is near collapse, and rival factions and rebels are fighting for control of the oil fields of the Niger Delta and vying for power in the country which is the sixth largest supplier of America’s oil imports.

The list of options for the Nigeria scenario ranged from diplomatic pressure to military action, with or without the aid of European and African nations. One participant, U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Mark Stanovich, drew up a plan that called for the deployment of thousands of U.S. troops within 60 days, which even he thought was undesirable….

As the game progressed, according to former U.S. ambassador David Lyon, it became clear that the government of Nigeria was a large part of the problem. As he put it, “we have a circle of elites [the government of Nigeria] who have seized resources and are trying to perpetuate themselves. Their interests are not exactly those of the people.”

Furthermore, according to U.S. Army Major Robert Thornton, an officer with the Joint Center for International Security Force Assistance at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, “it became apparent that it was actually green (the host nation government) which had the initiative, and that any blue [the U.S. government and its allies] actions within the frame were contingent upon what green was willing to tolerate and accommodate.”

Among scenarios examined during the game were the possibility of direct American military intervention involving some 20,000 U.S. troops in order to “secure the oil,” and the question of how to handle possible splits between factions within the Nigerian government. The game ended without military intervention because one of the rival factions executed a successful coup and formed a new government that sought stability

Yankee is tooo smart shet - they are on their tings mehn-
Yaraduas govt was anti-yankee, I would say Jonathan is more of the coup plotter to bring stability to Nigeria and secure Oil intesrest of the west. At the same time Jonathan and who ever is presido in 2011(maybe RIBADU), be of will better governance in Nigeria - as American govt pointed out Nigerian elite are a major cause of instability in Nigeria.

yankee is tooo much they are smart mehn

@sjeezy
You've been talking sense recently, but your last post is way off mark. There is an intelligence report from Africom that predicts Nigeria to be the next Pakistan. . . Guess why?

Turai's coup failed because the US was brooking no droppings. As long as there is a threat of terrorism and growing anti-Americanism in the North, they are ready to put down marines. The threat of an oil rich terrorist state is too great to be left alone.
The power equation in 9ja will change for good, to one of merit. I foresee MEND joining the army / govt and helping to build an equitable nation.
Since mend members are basically anonymous those that truly have ND interest at heart should join the Military. If africom comes to naija Africom will side with the govt/Nigerian army. The Nigerian govt wont f up if the US is watching them through africom.
PoliticsRe: Break Up Is Imminent - Ndpvf/psf by sjeezy8: 6:02pm On Feb 28, 2010
Break up of Nigeria

1) Nigeria wont break up because Africom will be in Nigeria soon- no more yaradua and former presido Bush in Nigeria means AFRICOM.
2) When Africom comes they will be training Nigerian military and Navy against militants and oil theives/militants hahaha. grin
3) all this nonsense going on in Nigeria only gives a better argument for Africom to enter Nigeria.( Nigeria is on  terrorist watch now and militants are talking about blowing up MORE pipelines)
4) Africom is seeking African headquarters many countries have offered but africom wants Nigeria for its headquarters- its soooo obvious because they didnt accept other countiries like liberia- who have been begging to host africom.

They already have CENTCOM around the oil rich saudia arabia and persian gulf
Centcom's principal mission is to protect the flow of oil from the Persian Gulf to the United States and American allies around the world
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1295/is_12_68/ai_n8582775/
grin grin haha lmfao so Nigeria, wont break up Africom will just come and install some fear in militants and straighten up Nigerian govt- its like killing two birds with one stone- I was against it before but now I cant wait. One Nigeria

Africom and one Nigeria cant lose Obj is boy boy to yankee, IBB is boyboy to yankee, Jonathan is boyboy to yankee, Ribadu is boyboy to yankee- all the same.

she doesnt even sound like an info minister but she sounds like a hair dresser
she should respect her job in the govt and act professionally

Has anybody commended you after the memo for being courageous?
People have commended me variously but Obasanjo didn’t commend me. But many leaders have commended me. Many people you cannot expect have commended me. Even people around the Presidency have commended me to say God bless you .
When jonathan becomes presido HE CANNOT keep this lady around and if he does he should seriously warn her about her mouth.

shes seeking attention and some type of empathy if you read the interview she goes on somekind of self praise like wtf huh

she also talked about Soludo "having no moral ground to take anambra elections to court- hes being a sore loser"- but shes from the same party as him.

I mean is this the type of person you want in your govt as info minister ? wtf her job should be strictly speaking on what the acting president says, the current administration, the constitution and things of that matter.

Not personal opinions or feelings.
and Not saying nonsense about Jesus, people who have no morals, who ever is lying and what not.

People like her make Nigeria theatrical not to mention she switched sides like hell. NOLLYWOOD
PoliticsRe: We’ll Cripple Nigeria — Militants by sjeezy8: 11:17pm On Feb 27, 2010
haha ground nut, hide and skin to run Nigeria  grin

funny mehn
The militants should relax ahah- dont make things worse, Jonathan will be recognised well well soon.
The last thing he needs is people from his region making it solely about deltans. He said it before that he doesnt want it to become an ijaw or deltans issue.

If these militants start blowing up pipelines because theyre angry he will be OBIGLATED AS ACTING PRESIDENT TO SEND THE MILITARY IN THE ND, DEAL WITH THEM lipsrsealed.- Im sure he wants to avoid that

They should know not to put the president or acting president in a situation to act against his own people.
So these boys should start thinking instead of acting like children.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Moves To Restructure Presidency by sjeezy8: 11:03pm On Feb 27, 2010
Nigeria

Jonathan played the whole the thing simply well. Jonathan is good for the stability of Nigeria.

He has displayed his sense of wisdom without all the theatrical over dramatic things that would make situations worse.

Haha I remember when I read that Obj wanted (Soludo) to become VP in 2007 and he(Soludo) started doing "big boy" acting like he is the VP of Nigeria, an emperor and even hired a makeup artist to prepare him before he went out, had a larger convoy than atiku and bought million of naira worth of clothes from each tribe- all while he was still CBN Govenor.
They said that top officials wondered how can some who is still cbn gov become so power drunk already.- the reason why they didnt want him and went for Jonathan.

Nigeria needs leaders who are moderate and know when and how to play their cards right, some may think Jonathan is a coward for not saying much but the guy played it smart.

Beaf:
One day bushmeat go catch the hunter. . .
More power to Jonathan.

But people don't announce that they are sacking and beheading before the deed is done. I smell mischief.
They announce it when its inevitable and the game is up. US and Britain have even told the North, IBB and co how its going to be, whether they like it or not. Either they listen to the US or Nigeria will be the next Iraq. simply put

He should put money in all of Nigeria
If he thinks that he can cancel progressive projects anyhow without considering consequences then we are happy to be divided. Our support for Jonathan is based on justice and fairplay and not based on cynical politics.

If all he ever wanted was to be a weak 12months acting President then by all means he can carry on as he so pleases.

THERE IS NO NEED ROBBING PETER TO PAY PAUL
ok justice and fair play abi?

its not justice or fairplay when those in the north dont meet the demands of their southern counter parts in terms of true federalism and such.

When you talk of robbing peter to pay paul- I dont know what you mean because the money should have beeeeen going to the ND for land reclamation. Theres no needs for the SE and SS to divide themselves over something that was only brought up as a concern because it also benefits the north.

se+ss= good
se+north= terrible

Northern nigeria is tooo much- I can see it now
PoliticsRe: Jonathan, Keeping A Low Profile Is A Brilliant Idea by sjeezy8: 5:21pm On Feb 27, 2010

sjeezy8

i think you need to clear your head of tribalism

If the Wole Soyinkas who are Yorubas and the Doras who are Igbos all kept a low profile a dead man would have been running Nigeria through his wife.

We are even having this debate because Omoyele Sowore a Yoruba man dared to report dangerous news about Nigeria and not choose to keep a low profile for the survival of his business. If Jonathan does not want to be President he should stand.

When the number 1 citizen of a country is talking about keeping a low profile, you will wonder who will run the countryhuh
Keeping a low profile means simply ceding leadership to someone else. The question is who does he want to cede it to?
Please Soyinka and Dora arent the president or acting president of a country if there were - Soyinka would have been dead by now- SE will cause civil war if Dora doesnt become president in enough time. lets be honest I dont mean to make it tribe thing.

But if jonathan was from the SE he and those from his region wouldnt have been patient enough to get this far.
Soyinka dora and all those people who asked for power to be handed over did so because they are not in jonathans shoes.

If Soyinka was in jonathans shoes and openly asked for power to be handed to him- it would be seen as an act of disloyalty and a secret agenda -he Definately wont get anything.
Theres a reason why soyinka is an activist and can NEVER be presido. Dora did what she could for her position but she would NEVER have thought about saying it if she were jonathan.

He should be calm and lay low and be confident that US and UK are behind him. Hes been asserting himself well so far without stepping on any feet. Hes active in the Niger coup situation, assuring investors to stay in naija, what else does everyone want him to do that wont get him killed?
PoliticsRe: River Niger Project Puts Jonathan Into Trouble by sjeezy8: 2:52pm On Feb 27, 2010
what are all these nonse comments im readin you see northerners have already started to divide SS and SE.

The point im making is he should put money in the ND as all tribes in the SS including igbo can benefit from it.

Dnt just listen?
Who r they suppose to just listen2 if I may ask?
they dont listen to anyone maybe ojukwku

as of right they should take some of objs advice because he knows how to break northern hegemony and get a ss or se as president of Nigeria. Most (not all) Igbo people tend to be too boisterous and somewhat too honest and WAY too forward, when they dont like something they say it immediately without any contstraint.

you cant do that in politics and esp in Nigeria that can cause a civil war. Jonathan is playing it cool taking advice from Obj and the US and britain. and its getting him far- no one has died and theres no civil war.

Onlytruth:
Everybody calm down  cool cool

South east is still behind Jonathan. His staunchest supporters in the FEC are Dora Akunyili and Ojo Maduekwe (both from south east). So any thought of a quick south east back off from Jonathan is pure idiocy. He made a gaffe but has since corrected his mistakes. Enough said. cool
the same ojo that took the fec for a ride aound saudia arabia, to thank the king grin - he knewsyaradua was coming back without telling his fellow ministers.

The same Dora that lets out too much info.  grin that lady will get him killed FAST- if she doesnt mind her tongue. Jonathan almost locked her out for letting out info about him meeting turai.  grin it was suppose to be a secret meeting this one now told the whole Nigeria lmfao

haha I dont know why people think with their ethnic caps on you be real fool mehn.

You must be calling yourself an idio t because you posted the artcle saying that Jonathan is taking orders from Obj to cause division.
abi you get bad memory

Onlytruth:
When Jonathan was emerging acting president, I was concerned that he may take advise from the wrong people.
When he did this, I smelled Obasanjo's divide and rule.  I knew it won't be long before he is called to order.
Who has been advising himhuhhuh? I know there is enough money to do both projects, why did he decide to pull funds from the dredging program?
I would get good advisers from the south east and south south for Jonathan. For you to lead Nigeria, you must have the backing of at least one of the major tribes. You can't succeed if you alienate your closest neighbor in your first lines of action.
I knew some folks would fall for it - most southerners are dumb

There is a thin line between keeping a low profile and being a coward/weak. undecided
spoken like a true SE'ner.- no offense but in politics you dont voice your TRUE opinion boisterously. You keep calm analyze the situation and then act.  A politician can never show his true feelings.

we thank God he is taking advice from OBJ to play it cool, keep a low profile and act docile. If he was from the SE-Nigeria would have been in a civil war by now and he would already been dead.

@ post "Honest politician is an oxymoron."
Theres no such thing as an honest politician. Jonathan may not like keeping a low profile but he has too. Imagine if he is to say" they dont want me to be presido because im Ijaw and from the delta or his action showed as much" wtf CIVIL WAR! immediate bombing by MEND, ijaw n all NDeltans, and Nigerian soldiers to go to the ND and start 1966 or june 1993 all over again.

He's careful not make it an ijaw issue like the igbos made it an igbo issue(biafra) and the yorubas made it their own a yoruba issue(anulling the mko election -the lock up and deaths of afeninfere leaders and abiola).

He doesnt want to die like Abiola and he doesnt want to another civil war like Biafra. He should carry on. great job

typical Nigerian, placing all the blame on others.

The real cause of our problems is the large number of cowardly Nigerians (mainly southerners) that will not come out to vote PDP out. Simple as that.
whos a TYPICAL Nigerian? If you dont know you should use your brain -if the article is true, its of no surprise to those who already know that whatever is in Americas interest america will say and do. no one is blaming others and pdp is a problem but not the biggest problem. If you dont think America manipulates other countries for their own interest you are verry naive and dum b. and whos to say IBB wont contest on PDP platform just to keep the "rotation in PDP"going?

@ post The only way he can win in PDP is if PDP southerners are forced to put him as the front runner.
The guy isnt the peoples choice and he might even run with the PDP.- so eitherway its the same old same old.

its a lose lose situation if he breaks pdp chain- theres no rotation to the se or ss
if he contest on pdp- its the same old thing as other before him- but atleast the ss or se have a chance at presidency.

If the article is true.
PoliticsRe: Britain Woos Babangida For 2011 Elections by sjeezy8: 1:01pm On Feb 27, 2010
There is NO WAY IBB can win in a free and fair election as a civilian president. and America knows that! They know that the only way he can gain win is from rigging.

No one in PDP will vote for him, No one in AC will vote for him, APGA NO,LB No . . .

There americans are saying they want a person who has experienced being head of Nigeria to rule in 2011 WTF type of thinking is that. What of Obama in America- why cant Nigerians have their own NEW fresh president that will restore a new hope in Nigeria of all regions?

All Biafrans, OPC, MEND should know the cause of their problems and all Nigerians problem is the USA and britian- as they clearly dont any southerner to be president of Nigeria unless he has been head of state before(like obj).
