Eziachi: Unfortunately for you, it is up to Easterners to choose who rules them and not outsiders. Today some of you are showing your true colours. An election is held and result was known within hours and no lose of life, no electoral returning officer running to Abuja to be told who should be the winner after weeks of manipulations, no more imaginary landslide victories with millions of mirage votes and still people like you are not happy. What do you guys want from us? If we are clothe you are not happy, if we are unclothed you laughed at our unclothedness too.
It seems we can't win with you guys, if the election was marred with violence, people like you can't stop yourself by now parroting your Igbo is divided epistle. But since our people conducted themselves , now your attention has shifted to melancholy of knowing better than our people regarding what they want. This is madness!! sure w/e unfortunate for you this is Nigeria. and There is no way someone can further himself esp in politics by not reaching across regional lines. Are you in Nigeria now I doubt it. Because people like you cant succeed in a country with others who are not from your ethnic group. Please dont group me with all yorubas because all yorubas are not the same period some are muslim(Gani) some are christian(Obasanjo) some align themselves with southerners(Soyinka) some align themselves with northerners(Bankole) and some align themselves with both apealing to north and south(Fashola).I said SE not igbo because there are igbos who are making themselves known around Nigeria and not just bigmen in the SE among their own people (which means nothing these days). Theres no point in conversing with someone who lives in the past. Barack Obama wouldnt have become president if he only appealed to blacks. @ all other non backward people - its not a thing of dividing but finding a common ground in the current polity Nigeria has. You cant complain that you are being marginalized, when youre purposely holding a wall up to others round you. AC- Ngige ride on we know you won aside from pdp attempted rigging and APGA sympathy votes for Obi Ojuwku.(the Obi guy campaigned with pictures of ojukwu on his shirt lol) who does that |

Shoot2Kill: @ metal gong = I will not satisfy you with a reply because you lack the decorum to have a civilized conversation.
@ Eziachi = I am not an IGBO expert ,i am a Nigerian of Yoruba descent. I am for “new” young Igbo leaders (under the age of 35) to come out and lead the IGBO people to greater heights. Ojukwu will not do it for you because all he does is remind you of the civil war. A man of Ojukwu’s calibre has lost his self respect by getting involved in the election and supporting one candidate over the another. He is supposed to maintain a father figure and not get involved but as usual the greed in him takes over. Only God knows how many “Ghana must go bags” that must have been transported from the state house to the IKEMBA’s house just for him to endorse Obi. I am also sure members of IKEMBA’s family will also get contracts in the state.
In Yoruba land I don’t give a rat’s azz about any of our current leaders. If I had my way I will execute them starting from oni of ife because they are crooks. My point is this. If you are below the age of 35 and you are worshipping Ojukwu ,Awo, Azikwe, Oni of ife e.t.c then you are a dummy. Hate me all you like ,I am speaking the truth and you know it deep in your hearts. I thought i was the only one who felt that way. lol Abachas boy Shagaris boy both used him to gain support from the SE and it worked like a charm. If he joins pdp( with some lame excuse) igbo people will all jump to PDP. True democracy for anambrans but not one to envy. |
Politics › Re: Because Ojukwu Was Involved. by sjeezy8: 5:08pm On Feb 07, 2010 |
The female candidate was actually saying how it was wrong for Obi to campaign with a pics of Ojukwu on his clothes. lol funny she should have said it directly to ikemba because it was probably his idea or was approved by him since its HIS PARTY. |
Politics › Re: Because Ojukwu Was Involved. by sjeezy8: 5:01pm On Feb 07, 2010 |
Eziachi: Why not ask South Africans who is Mandela or the British who is Winston Churchill. We respect Ojukwu and worship God. That is what the contributor is telling you, they voted for Obi out of respect for Ojukwu, it happens all over the world in advance democracies. Its called goodwill vote. Many American voted President Obama out of respect for past and oresent Black icons like Martin Luther King. Yorubas still vote for the Awoist in the west without PDP's rigging. please if you say something about yoruba say the truth there arent any releveant awosit in the SW its either PDP AC or LP. No one can tell yoruba people vote for any afenifere leader because of Awo. Awos time is over and done with, hes a memory and thats all. |
Politics › Re: Because Ojukwu Was Involved. by sjeezy8: 4:37pm On Feb 07, 2010 |
THE threat of civil war or some kind of conflict if Apga didnt win Point blank. It would have been good if Ngige or even Soludo won because both are good and have support outside the SE- which is great.
Just dont expect any presido coming from the Apga platform - because its more of an SE party, not really a national party like AC or PDP.
Like Obasanjo and Tinubu told the SW there is no room for Afenifere/AD in "Nigeria" and its true. |

MandingoII: and since most of us(black american) dumb mofo's voted for the first time last election, they had to give the presidency to the Son of immigrant because we black americans like fried chicken, cool aide and black n milds(Cherry blend).
I dont think there is a black american(slave descent) that can even get in that position. Al sharpton has a perm, jesse has a love child, Diddy is busy running badboy and having an affair with cassie.
There are no other heros for me to look up to

Politics › Re: Governors Dump Yar-adua! by sjeezy8: 3:47am On Feb 06, 2010 |
mikeansy: The difference between Dora's memo and what this Governors are doing is that these Governors have nothing to add or remove from this debate. As far as this debate goes they only are entitled to opinions like the eminent Nigerians or Save Nigeria Group.
They have no constitutional power whatsoever to make Jonathan acting President or Full President.
However Dora is part of the FEC who are empowered to sound a dearth nail on Yar'adua's presidential coffin. What she says carries weight because if more FEC memebers share the same view. They will under section 144 of the constitution bring this whole drama to an end quickly.
These Governors in my view have no business living their duty post. THEY ARE SIMPLY GRANDSTANDING. THIS IS AKIN TO GOVERNORS WHO HAD NO VOTE IN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TELLING US THEY DEFEATED PRESIDENT OBJ'S 3RD TERM AGENDA. THEY SHOULD GO AND SIT DOWN. GOVERNORS FORUM IS NOTHING BUT A FORUM. THEY HAVE NO ROLE WHATSOEVER UNDER THE CONSTITUTION AS GOVERNORS FORUM AND THEIR JURISDICTION ENDS IN THEIR INDIVIDUAL STATE. THEY SHOULD DO US THE FAVOUR OF PAYING MORE ATTENTION TO THE AFFAIRS OF THEIR LOCAL STATES THAN ALL THIS NOISE.
THIS SAME GROUP OF FOLKS REFUSED TO SHOW LEADERSHIP WHEN IT MATTERED ONLY TO CHANGE COURSE WHEN THE SITUATION WAS ABOUT TO COME TO A HEAD. exactly the same Govenors like Saraki who were at the forefront of the struggle against Jonathan becoming presido. These Govs arent about anything and wait till the last minute to change sides on what ever decision is popular at the time. Dora is no different she was singing a different tune weeks ago Oppurtunist all of them. |
Politics › Re: 24 Governors Pledge Support To Jonathan! by sjeezy8: 1:58am On Feb 06, 2010 |
Vice President Jonathan, who was expecting only Governor Bukola Saraki of Kwara State who had earlier called that he would be coming to see him, was shocked to report to his office yesterday morning with over 20 governors waiting for him.
Overwhelmed by the large crowd he saw in his office, Jonathan jokingly asked, “Is this a coup or what? I hope it is not led by the Adamawa Governor (Murtala Nyako)?” befor directing that the meeting be moved from his office upstairs to the ground floor, where there is a larger conference room.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/GovsForum.jpg I have gained a respect for Goodluck - he played the whole ordeal out calmly and got what everyone wanted. |

Fhemmmy: How come they did not have the meeting in Kaduna or in one of the northern states? The day is almost over and let us see what would happen. Everyone is now talking . . . . Let us wait and see They can never have the meeting in Kaduna because the north doesnt control the country. The South and middle belt have control of what goes on. The northerners are just dumb period. when southerners stop lying to themselves then they can truly Identify the culprits from their own region. |
