I agree with you that it is not normal. But I am kind of shy and historically, what helps me overcome my shyness is someone that really has many things in common with me or a fine babe. Its kind of psycho, I know, but its my reality. So, I will be able to ignore a babe's worworness is she like the things i like like soccer, intellectually stimulating discussions etc. If not, she has to make up for it by having a wonderful personality, and that includes being beautiful. I hope I dont come across as putting myself on a pedestal or feeling too big. For I am not like that.
