Honestly, this guy is talking balderdash! What bank doesn't have a firewall? I'm pretty sure he has not seen a software firewall before, let alone an hardware firewall. A software firewall with the right settings should be able to prevent from security vulnerabilities. Even non core IT-centric firms make use of firewall to prevent access from any external untrusted network. |

I recently got a job as an IT Administrator in a power generation company. Although, I had worked for almost four years in an IT Support role in another company prior to getting this new job. I have a B.sc in Computer Engineering, CCNA and MCSA, which are still valid and active.
I need an advice on the types of professional exams to write to keep me relevant in the IT industry.
I'm writing my CCNP very soon. Since my CCNA will be expiring late next year(i.e late 2019).
My long-term goal is to become a cyber security expert. What path should I take in achieving this? I don't want to remain in this IT Support/ Administrator position for long. |

hush15: While i appreciate the governors gesture with all sense of gratitude, if it is the fagba i know, flyover ke? Lets see how it goes.
Moreso, another round of house demolishing is about to go round. Pele o, i hope it wont affect my nusery and primary school sha. Sincerely, this news gladdens my heart. But, I still can't fathom how the construction of a flyover bridge at Fagba will be achieved without the demolishion of houses. The issue with that Agege-Iju road is that, over time, the number of vehicles plying that route have increased astronomically. More so, most vehicles use it as a link to Abule-Egba, Oke-Aro and Akute. Since that route seemingly looks like the most motorable and shorter route. Truth be told, the expansion of the link road and construction of a bridge on that route have been long over due! |

I will not applaud EFCC for this act. Cuz they're not tackling the issue from its root cause. Bunch of government "Eye-service" mofos. I'm not in anyway glorifying fraud, but I can tell you authoritatively that internet fraud has kept theft and robbery at a low mark. There is gonna be a ripple effect if the clampdown on the fraudsters becomes intensified.
Robbery and Theft is gonna be on the increase pretty soon. |

Esseite: 419 has been there since 1914, it was made in 1914. but it never went crazy like what we have now because we had working governments.. same for drug addictions, same for rituals, robbery, etc
These things go hand in hand and has multiplier effect.
What do you expect a graduate whom has been and still searching for job over 5 years?
Faced with: -Ridicule he succumbs to drugs, -Rejected by females, he takes on rape due to finances -Intimidated by peers, he takes on kidnapping & robbery -Rather than stare at the ceiling all day, he rather takes on yahoo atleast to be hopeful eventually adds ritual to plus it up.
And we all ask ourselves, he used to be a brilliant guy, straight A's, good result, Godly child... what happened to him. Well the Govt never provided the basics and he had no helper.
Look around you, we are all scattered around in different categories and stages.

Please help a brother in need with the freelance sites. I'm a graphics designer, very good with Photoshop drehdinho: My brother, we are lucky to have been part of the freelancers. It really has changed a lot of lives.
My concern is just about the half backed sellers or those with the dirty mind of scam parading those platforms. I wish only matured folks are exposed to freelance; I mean those who really need financial aid, the unemployed.
I just can't cheat or afford to misbehave to my clients because I have integrity to protect.
Even though sometimes, clients pay me outside of the platform and before delivering the job, I still ensure I do my best, and never to run away with the money. This is even in a situation where the mode in which most of these clients pay me is not easily traceable ( I mean through bitcoin). This is the kind of life I expect of every Nigerian freelancers.
Honestly, before I introduce anyone to this business, I study the person to know his level of integrity.
It bothers me hearing stories of how Nigerians scam one another over $7 reviews and some other ignoble related stories like that.
As for me, I want to quickly do and pack enough money from the platform, and use it set up confirm physical businesses before the senseless ones force the managements to promulgate a law or policy that will restrict Nigerians; I know it's a stage we are getting to soon. I know my people; they never disappoint.
I even heard the Yahoo Yahoo boys have taken the platforms as part of the prominent places they fetch their mugus from. |

I think I'll just have to help you in this situation. Thank God your senses got reawakened. Any job that tells you to pay any money no matter how little, is a scam. My rule of thumb tells me that. As regards the bitcoins and money gram, they want you to send money via bitcoins cuz any money sent via the blockchain can't be reverted and also can't be traced. While the moneygram is just another means to rob your hard earned money off you. Look here Mr, you're in the middle of a scam. You've probably been e-mailing back and forth some group of young fellows sitting behind a computer in some cosy room in Lagos, Owerri, Edo, Osogbo, Ogun state. It's called employment scam. So pick your shoes up, wear them, tie your laces and run and never look back. RONSIL: Hi guys. Please it seems the action against hunger and the international mercy corps message is a scam. I also received the action against hunger mail and av done the ICAPT but was told to pay 97usd and I revert to Estelle that who is responsible and she said them so av paid the 97usd through my bank but the money returned and I was told the account is wrong. I got in touch with the icapt guy in manic centre and he stated I should pay by bit coin or money gram and I said no. I told him to give me the company USD account but he did not reply since then. I copied Estelle in all this but she was mute. What is surprising me now is that I researched Estelle and found she has worked with action against hunger before but no more working there. So I am still monitoring the situation. I am thinking if one can visit their office in abuja to confirm |
