Bros, where in Lagos you go see average looking 2-bedroom flat for 250k? You'll need to budget at least 400k, and you'll probably be living in the outskirts of Lagos. So imagine the person works on the island, how will such a person cope commuting to & fro? To be honest, the guy spends recklessly. He should move to a cheaper accommodation, and cut some costs. If care is not taken, even when he earns 1m, he no go still see anything save. Make him forget big boy forming O. If dem sack am for that job now, he go be like say the whole world is crashing on him, cuz there is no way he will be able to cope. The best thing is to invest. Cuz saving itself is useless with the rubbish currency called Naira chatinent: He lives a pennywise-man-foolish lifestyle. How can you be paying rents almost thrice your monthly net income?
Just look at the whole expenses listed there!
If I were earning ₦400k, I'd relocate to a flat where I can pay at maximum, ₦250k yearly (and that's because I want to have a family). A two bedroom flat is okay for a start.
I'd use my first monthly to pay it off, doing a little refurbishment too. I like to buy foodstuff in bulk so I am definitely going to spend up to ₦80k for it. If I don't have a freezer, I wouldn't bother buying goods that are too perishable. I would save for a freezer and a generator together.
I have to buy the major things so as to enable me begin to save. Sorry I didn't tell you, I don't save. I actually invest. I'd start up sth else with the saving..rather than leaving it lying adamant.
It's not a must to live a big boy life!
Look at the figures he uses to flex. To spend on top drink and woman!
So e no fit wash cloth or save up for a washing machine and drier?
Data for ₦10k? E should kuku send a CV to PornHub. Abi free WiFi no dey workplace?
Recharge card for ₦15k? Sure this uncle want to live long in this life? Even Elon Musk doesn't recharge ₦15k.
Cleaner ₦5k? En hand dey pain am? Why can't he marry and send this to his wife instead?
In fact, let me stop analysing. How old is his stupidity if I may ask?
Tell him to use the savings of ₦7800 to buy GO90 and Snipper and drink! He doesn't deserve to waste the oxygen others need. Better still, make una call Cele people to flog out the Aso-Rock demon in him.
It's nice to cloth your clothes according to your cloth size.
No go dey compete with people who depend on their family when your family depends on you! |

You're just talking in the nonsense. All these their involuntary price hikes is cuz they are in an essential sector i.e power. If not, most Nigerians would have naturally stop patronizing them. Let them continue to increase tariffs. All I know is that nothing lasts forever. Even Nigeria will not remain a country forever! Modrov: We are.paying for power
Not at the price the discos need it to be to make a profit.
That's why.
Meanwhile in the GSM sector we have bettwr telephony than we did in the 1980s because we paid rates that enabled the GSM companies to make a profit to build up all the infrastructure that we use to chat and browse. |

How can I like this comment a million times? When you still have a support system like the low paying job, that still meets the basic of ur needs, you wouldn't know how far. To be candid with you, just apply for a higher paying job, and continue learning the digital skills aggressively till ur door opens. Naija hard O. No reason am! xscoffy: ..
U will understand the meaning of this country when u quit that job u think is stressful. Cos u won't definitely see penny to even sub for that youtube ur learning the design not to talk of feeding urself Never you quit a job tht pays u 50k and above in this country until u have saved or invested alot to do so. No friend or family, I repeat no friend or family fvcking cares about you. You will understand this line the moment u quit that job. Better respect urself n stay back there first whilst u package ur cv an apply for other baking jobs with better pay elsewhere.
If you quit that job now, even those that call u boss and senior man will all spit on u after seeing u in d house for some time.
I stayed good 5yrs after nysc at home(I live alone in d city) without a job. Was surviving it but wasnt that easy before I was landed my first mega appointment. Quote me,during that 5yrs,even my own mum was insulting me each time she calls me on fone reminding me how my mates v made it n I was wasting my life without knowing what I was passing through in d city. I felt so depressed almost wanted to take my life but here I am today. Am not earning million but I feel better than before.
So bros, stay back there n seek for better opportunities. Make use of the internet agressively. Apply for jobs. Belive me, with ur experience..u will always get interview invite. Once ur close in getting another job,u then leave that one ur doing now |

Of course you know a whole lot. What's the essence of having Galaxy backbone or Content Oasis as the government's ISP, if they cannot collaborate in this regard? I no kuku blame them, even Galaxy BB outsources majority of their connectivity services. There was a country indeed! lessonotes: Of course, they would need on premise Data Centers, which I believe Galaxy Backbone could give, but no, they want their own data center. I just hope the centers would have DR backed up 100% of data integrity.
It would be against National Security if we host our data in a foreign cloud, thou Microsoft Azure Firewall boasts of availability at least 99.95% of the time, when deployed within a single Availability Zone; meaning you're 99% sure of your data in the cloud. At least every quarter or so, you will want to buy an appliance now, and where did you think the money will come from? Na still part of your earnings of course! Seriously Naija & the Naira don cast tey tey. He con be like say he even make sense to just dey spend your money as you earn, even if you earn 400-500k monthly. For example person bin dey save to buy Toyota corolla 05 which was around 1.5m-1.7m at that time before lock down 2020, by the time he reach January 2021, the same Corolla don dey enter 2.2m-2.4m, where will the person see the remaining balance to buy the car after saving with the mindset that the price should be between 1.5m-1.7m? I just dey weep for Naija I swear. We dunno what is coming! socialmediaman: 100K includes your rent. So if you pay 600K annually, you’re spending 50K monthly on rent. They don't only block based on your IP address though, it's usually the mac address of your device and there is also the AI part that checks your pattern of messaging, adding friends, if youre always doing copy/paste. Marleek: I believe its mostly for fraud. Have you ever checked your Facebook friend's list and seen white people (naija scammers obviously) and you don't remember sending a request to any oyinbo? The thing is Facebook usually blocks new accounts created by these fraudsters because they've marked their IP addresses. That's why they rather hack someone's account rather than create a new one. Bros this your analysis no just tally. You think it's that easy to buy a brand new Okada and find someone, even on hired purchase to be paying you 10k per week without defaulting? Let's even do the analysis again. 52 weeks= 1 year(12 months) 26 weeks = 6 months @ 10k per week, in 26 weeks = 26*10=260,000 ROI= Total money gained- invested capital= 260,000-250,000= #10,000 Does that even make sense? 10k gain on a 250k investment. I'll advise him to goan and get a mini bus(korope) and start hustling like a dropout. Na money dey give leves/prestige O. No be the white collar job, with 70k-120k salary. Money wey no dey reach middle of the month before he finish. Mtcheew. Onto that salary you go still dey work like slave. With sack threats at the slightest negligence of duty. A word is enough for the wise! adonainana: A piece of advice
I run a fleet of cars so i can advice you better.
What you are going to do to please your gf and have your way is you are going to purchase a Motorcycle instead
A brand new one costs 250k
After purchasing it you are going to give it out on Hire purchase for 10k per week
Cos it is Hire purchase after 6 months or so, when the final price has been paid plus the profit the rider will keep the bike
You are then going to leave the remaining 750k in your bank account like nothing happened
Between now and in 6 months time, you will be making nothing less than 40,000 naira per month
If you want to go further, after the 1st month, you are going to buy another brand new bike and give it out again
Thats another 40k per month
You will be chilling in your house for the next 6 months, and people will be doing okada business for you and bringing in nothing less than 80k a month
The only Cons is that make sure you verify the rider you are giving the bike too, make sure he provides a guarantor too and you know his address
From experience make sure the rider is younger than you so at least he will be scared of you to an extent
This way you save your relationship and you get you wish as to starting a transportation business
Its not until you go and buy an overpriced toyota sienna for 1.3 million before you can start making money from transportation business
Even the car you want to buy with less than 1 m, it wont be tokunbo so may give you trouble and trust me it wont be straight forward
Your 1m capital is 5 times enough for what you need to do
I am based in ibadan and lagos so let me know if you need extra advice
Besides i dont blame your gf she is probably just concerned, imaging the day you go for introduction and you say what you do and they say you a driver, it wont look posh so instead dont worry you will still drive your car but you gonna be a boss and control a fleet instead
Regards
