Thank you for your honest reply. Thank you to every other person that have replied me. My case is actually similar to that colleague of yours, as I have only been in the UK for less than a month. However, my salary is a lot lower than his I thought I was going insane when I was trying to explain to folks why I have to go for this IT engineering job as against the Health care assistant. I know it can only get better once I start this IT engineering role, as my UK job experience will begin to count, and I can easily switch to another company if the IT company won't increase my salary/offer COS after the 6 months probation hustla: |

Hello Everyone!! I urgently need your advice. I'm currently in the UK on a dependant visa(tier 4), as my spouse is currently studying in the UK also. I recently got two different job offers. 1) IT engineering job 2) Health care assistant job. Please which one should I choose? PS: I have got like 5 yrs experience in the IT field from Nigeria. But folks are saying I should go for the health care assistant job cuz of higher possibility of sponsorship from the health care assistant job. Although the IT company didn't say anything about sponsorship. But upon researching on the gov.uk site, I found out that they are actually on the list of skill worker(A rating) sponsors. |

Yaya88:Sincerely, I feel your pain. I can relate to how you feel. Give them more time. Don't mail or call them till like a weeks time in order not to look too desperate. Please don't stop praying too. Your miracle is around the corner! Who no go, no fit know! Only one who has gone through the different phases of this migration thing will be able to relate. |

Please how did you go about the paid call? My application has been on DMC for almost 3 weeks now. Although I got an NSF mail like the 4th day after I did biometrics saying that they didn't see my TB certificate(this was even shocking to me, cuz it was part of the documents I took to the TLSCONTACT to be scanned for assisted service on bio day), and I should mail it to the Sheffield student email address, which I did the same day I got the mail. My questions are 1) Do you work at the branch office? 2) Did you get the approval of your line manager/superior before using the reference letter from the branch office? If both answers are Yes, I don't think you should be blamed here. The branch office is an extension of the HQ. You can also go to your HQ and plead with them, but if they refuse to listen to your plea, just hope the ECO won't use that against. Cuz you can actually still be given a visa even without them replying. Its not all organizations that even reply UKVI to even start with. Of I may ask, how did you hear about UKVI wanting a reply from your organisation? Was it your HQ HR that informed you? dave0450: |

Sakol4life: I think it's best you leave the addresses as they are. Just my two cents though ✌ Besides, females don't move to their husbands house before marriage in Africa. They only do so on the day of the marriage. So if peradventure you were asked or you may want to add a cover letter explaining the contradictory home addresses on the marriage cert & TB cert. Let them know you applied to get married @ the registry like weeks/months before the June 8th day you chose, and it was only normal you chose your spouses parent's address as at that time. Hence the reason why the marriage cert didn't carry same address as yours. 1 Like |

Must the SOA used to obtain CAS be the same as the same to be submitted to UKVI? i.e should the SOA have the exact opening and closing balance, and the same date frame? Even when CAS was issued weeks after submitting SOA to obtain CAS Serendipity01: 1 Like |

Focus99: Is it compulsory for both husband and wife to update their house address to same address on their NIN? Then again, is it part of the visa requirement for a dependent to show an official document that he/she lives at the same address with the spouse? If yes, which other document can be used apart from NIN? |

I do not believe so. I think it will normalise at rhe black market rate. Probably around £1,100. Black market rate should still be less than £1,100 at the moment. It normally shouldn't be more than black market rate. afrolegend: |

What if your bank refuses to sell to you @ 755, and chooses to sell to the Aboki @800? Who do you report to? Tinubu? Hahahaha. You think a rounding tripping business that has been going on for years will just stop in a space of weeks or a few months? I laugh in Chinese! Better go gear yourself up. Dollar is just about to hit the sky! No one can stop that black market business, as long as banks refuses to give common people dollars. sainsburry: |

Are you minding the f**l that is still being fed by his parents? D!mwit yarning dust as if when you deposit old notes, it's cowries you'll be spending afterwards. What all the depositing banks are basically doing is to mop up old notes without reciprocating with new notes. Which economy works on such model? When you discuss about the challenges of getting new notes, those bunch of mofos will tell you to go and do transfer, as if transfer is 100% reliable. I still have a pending 10k failed POS transaction with Firstbank for over 1 week now. Musty4ahmed1: 1 Like |

No mind dem!! People wey don dey kolo. Even America, Europe and China with all their seasoned software engineers, and top notch blockchain technology still use paper money. I'm pretty sure they re still dreaming that paper money can be completely eradicated, especially in a country like Nigeria, where we still have epileptic power supply, unreliable network service. You could be in the process of initiating a transaction on ur mobile, when a connecting Telco basestation will just go down, and your sent money will just hang mid-air. I swear these people are jokers, and I don't blame them. It's my Nigerian people I blame. We've been completely docile, always leaving everything to God GOFRONT: |

I swear it's very easy to spot this kinda scam.I don't know why every Nigerian don't reason the way I reason about the government. First of, No Nigerian government will give a random Nigerian a dime, except you belong to their party(like APC or PDP), and you have to be known in that party, or you work with the government. If they could hide palliatives (which includes Indomie, rice, sugar etc) that was even donated through CSR by companies, is it that same government that will dash you money? Bros, where in Lagos you go see average looking 2-bedroom flat for 250k? You'll need to budget at least 400k, and you'll probably be living in the outskirts of Lagos. So imagine the person works on the island, how will such a person cope commuting to & fro? To be honest, the guy spends recklessly. He should move to a cheaper accommodation, and cut some costs. If care is not taken, even when he earns 1m, he no go still see anything save. Make him forget big boy forming O. If dem sack am for that job now, he go be like say the whole world is crashing on him, cuz there is no way he will be able to cope. The best thing is to invest. Cuz saving itself is useless with the rubbish currency called Naira chatinent: |
