You get it, it's actually not that hard to use the right people for the right roles, but here we are, I guess we can't have it all. If you check the recent episode of Legacies (the series is mostly rubbish though) there's a scene were some of the cast were speaking Yoruba with a near perfect accent.

But the tv series ain't a top spending show like that...and looking at pandemic issue...it will be difficult to shoot a movie in another country right now....

I don't get, does the market not seem Nigerian enough? On the issue of the yellow filter, it's one of the many failings of Hollywood, they are used mainly when showing developing(read: poor) countries and are supposed to depict warm climates. It's a dangerous stereotype, & I honestly can't wait for it to die out.

Also the accent is annoyingly bad, mostly because a majority of the cast are black Africans, still I don't think that should be an acceptable excuse. All in all though, it's a series I thoroughly enjoy.
