LWKMD to my bolded..we shall all port IJN. i know men that tried different countries up till 5 times, even get banned for forgery/misrepresentation,served the ban and letter apllied to germany and other european countries and got it but theirs aren't for study. the most important thing is keeping push, atimes it must not be that particular country you wanted.
Europe is actually very easy to get and straight foward. and Germany is great, nice people and all that, but i am kinda tired of Europe and the language barrier there. Europe wu maka onye ga enwe ndidi for learning language. basically why i want CA is for the language. Denmark, Sweden, Norway or Germany is just as good as Canada, ONLY thing man wan go spend millions in CA is because its an english speaking country, i ga apiriwaya faster in an English country than Europe.

bro to my bolded,if you mistakenly didn't disclose that, in an efficient system of doing things, you would be likely to see the box ticked for ''MISREPRESENTATION'' for withholding facts/information which may determine/aid the outcome of an application since ACCRA CIC didn't detect such mistake of yours, which should have also appeared on your refusal letter, with your narration, it implies and interprets they don't pay attention to PGC (D) and docs submitted especially ACCRA CIC
I'm guessing they will put it in tbe details of what they mean by purpose of visit, on the GCSM files.

@Skiiiwalker i do not think it because of your previous US refusal...I also was refuse a USA visa which i did not declare, because i applied with my daughter and she was refused visa while i was approved, My daughter Gcms note now review that i have been refused a USA visa twice and i did not declare it, CIC even quote the month and year i was refused grin grin, But i was lucky because it did not affect my application because CIC stated that they find me as genuine student because i was an MBA student....so the reason the delayed my daughter is because CIC say i never travel and come back before, say my ties for Nigeria no too strong. They also delayed my daughter for purpose of visit which the Gcms also state that my purpose was to study not my sucking daughter to accompany me and that her ties is stronger in Canada than Nigeria. I tell my husband please bring my child to canada oh, unless i no go travel again, My TRV dey for inside cupboard since one month now dey chill grin grin my husband will now apply with my daughter for a visiting visa because he has good travel history
hmm you were lucky indeed. may be they initially wanted to refuse you both over that, but for the fact that you are going for Masters, earned you more points.

Sorry for ur delay but mind u no prayer is a waste.
I don't think prayer works anything. else Nigeria has been doing the most in that aspect, and still the country is shiiity. but hey, if the concept of prayer makes you feel temporarily better over any thing you're going through, i say do what rock your boat. i don't pray, i am not affliated to any religious sect. smiley

Sorry about your delay bro.
I'm not exactly sure if you can apply in the US for a Canada visitor's visa if you are in the US as a short-term visitor (B1/B2 specifically).
lol @ bolded.
Ok. i'd like to have a convo with ya though, when you have time.. i sent you pm.

my application was basic. my dad stands as my sponsor, i included my bsc certs and all the cert., i'e got few travel history too. i am suspecting my previous US refusal years back that i forgot to indicate... but then the insufficient fund part is what i don't understsnd.

bro i tell you. ike gwuru my brother.i just did all righteousness requesting for my file cos i know their reason is still just an excuse which is not of my interest.the profiles of most PGC applicants here would perfectly get them TRV if we merited or had masters admission but the issue is from CIC in the strict manner they handle PGC(D) apps.
annoying part aint even the refusal. i mean one can't force them to allow you in their country, but the gadamn processing time is nuts. now the GS gini file will take another whoping 4-5 weeks. nwoke ana agbada .

Well said, what'll u now say about South Africa processing time of 16weeks does it mean they receive huge applications as well which i think they don't cos an average South African man doesn't leave his country like the way we Nigerians do and they don't av our population as well.
may be majority of the applicants there are still Nigerians. and SA office might be handling other offices...

Yo guys dis is my first time ever posting something on Nairaland, been a silent follower n I must confess I hve learnt a lot from everyone of yall.
@MichV, I understand ur frustration infact ur d main reason y I am posting dis is thread. I am in ur shoes too bro, I submitted my application since May 31 wit my friend for PGD using paper route n up till nw, no reply form d embassy for medicals.
I knw someone dat submitted his application for Pgd exactly a week after us using d same paper route n he is still waiting for medicals. See ehh we r all tired cuz dis wait n uncertainty is an emotional Rollercoaster n frankly it's becoming very annoying .
Bro I just want u to knw dat ur not alone, I believe there r several pple like us dat applied for Pgd /Pgc n most of dem r silent followers on nairaland like I was, I just want u guys to stay strong cuz very soon d wait will b over. I dunno y CIC is like dis this year but I knw most of us waiting will get our approval.

(YOU R NOT ALONE)
mine is even May 12th. and no reply for medicals or returning my passport,. my annoyance is not about whether they will refuse, its just my passport, if i'd done online app i for no dey worry cos they wont be having my Pp that has cost me another opportunity, once its aug 12 exactly 12 weeks i'm gonna order for my passport back. this is ridiculous

thanks Skiiiwalker my person. doe I have two friends that submitted in June and got final response in June too(denial). But don't they approve and ask one to defer to a later resumption? finally is it true dat they attend to applications based on the proximity of applicants' resumption dates irrespective of date of application?
i don't know, but its highly possible they may process according to the date of resumption... plus they are just unpredictable, every case is just different and they keep changing their ways

Greetings dear House members.
please I submitted my study permit application on 25th July for September resumption, but I'm regretting not doing medical upfront.can I just go ahead and still do de medicals even when I have nt been asked to do it. secondly, can one be denied visa based on not submitting on time? I am going for MSC.
they may return it based on not enough time to process it, i had same experience but thats long time around 2009. i don't know if they still return application when its short time to process it. by the way this usually don't mean refusal.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by Skiiiwalker: 10:55am On Jul 31, 2016
i just wish CIC can give people response really, this is crazy. some 14, 15 , 16 weeks nothing... by the time they will reply now and if you put the 30days to wait for gcms notes, and trying to defer and reply for january session, you will start running out of time as well... i wish i didn't give them my passport, i for done close this application myself and move on, wtf is all these crap. ?

Yes boss.

It doesn't hurt to try.

At least it will be on their record that you tried to set the record straight.

It is better to point it out before they figure it out themselves.

Withholding facts is itself a reason for denial. So better act quick because they will definitely find out about your refused US visa and may delay you for lying or misrepresentation.
i sent them e-mail, and this is what they replied

" please be advised that your application is still in queue for review. No further action is required by you at this moment. You will be contacted once a decision is made".... this whole thing is stressful.

Boss pls quickly send a mail to Accra CIC...... Informing them of the omission. It is better you tell them before they find out on their own. So they won't delay you on the ground of misrepresentation of facts.

Did you apply online? If so you can send a case enquiry to CIC. Cos it may not be Accra CIC that will be attending to your application. From my observations online route are treated in any canadian visa office.
oh yea ? i can send more info. after submission ? i did paper route. wow let me do that real quick. Thanks a lot.

I made the same mistake oooo, although i now have a valid US visa but was refused before i was later approved. I pray this doesnt affect me oooo.
its crazy, in my case i only indicated canada visa refusal , my US refusal was a long time tho, 6 yrs ago. always thought a certain country has no business with what other countries did. when i got schengen visa i never told them about any US refusal,. i guess US and Canada do the border control shit together. pffff. thank goodness for nairaland tho'. information is priceless, this thing made me loose sleep, but i am taking it as it is and making plan b real quick, wish i found out about this the first week of submittion.

Hello,

This thread is part 10. Tried to follow as a "Silent Addict" like the other guy, but it didn't work so far. So I have to open up and admit that I want to apply for a Canadian University, masters in Biological Science or Agricultural related course. Please, second class lower grade. I need help about the deadlines and terminologies. Am not a linesman, I've stayed on the side of the pitch too long marking offsides and other people's testimonies.

In short... I need HELP. Help me start and Complete the application.

Thanks.
lmao "linesman"... the best way to track info here is, go to google and type your question the put + nairaland... it will bring out all the parts and pages that has what you are asking for or related answers, so sometimes you don't need to ask , cos the.question might hv been answrrd before

I am begging you guys in this NL, please help your fellow human being to answer this question as i am getting desperate

1. Have anyone gotten a TRV with a Fat Bank Statement of a friend (age mate i mean) or former university classmate. (i dont have any supportive family member or relative who gat money)

2. How best or which document can i use to proof my relationship with my friend?

NB: Someone advised me to submit university pix i took with this friend
Meanwhile i have just 2million naira in a fixed deposit and i am currently not working

Please Help me with answers...Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
forget the pics. they won't even. collect pics at vfs...all you can do is for your friend to write his relationship with you, just write how and when y'all became friends and why he really want to help you bla bla bla like that. just straight to the point sponsorship letter, and hope things works for you, one can't really predict these things sometimes, you just gotta try and hope.
