People compare PMS with GSM, they are two diff things. Even after many years, some people in the remote villages still don't use phones. My grand mother does not ping, she does not do WhatsApp.

Petrol is key. It cuts across all sectors. Why is it that the things that work well in other climes don't work in Nigeria? Why the stupid talk of smuggling when the FG can make laws to ensure that every tanker has a tracker installed. Trackers installed by govt agencies and fully working. You track a tanker and prevent or limit crossing borders.
Our failure over the years to utilize technology is the cause of our problems. If CCTV are installed in most parts of the country, which can even be viewed on mobile phones, tabs, laptops once u are online. Strategic borders like Ilela in Sokoto, Seme, etc fully having CCTV installed with full security as well, smuggling can be reduced. If a marketer is caught smuggling, then withdraw their licence, shutdown the filling station and make the driver spend 2 years in prison.
These men are too old and disconnected from the people. With Nigeria, its a case of the more you look, the less you see.

People have been uses to this error that they can't just understand the simplicity in Christianity. The Old testament should not be uses as a standard of authority for Christians today. Inasmuch as tithing was part of the law of Moses, Christians should not keep the law today. Give as much as you have been prospered. Come to think of it, when Jesus sighted a perfect example of giving, He saw a Widow who gave a mite. Jesus praised her because she gave all she had. New testament Giving should be sacrificial, cheerful, willingly but not under complusion. Tithing does not have any resemblance to these.

1. The default at the time was that the Jews paid tithe under the law of Moses. So Jesus simply said to them,

"look at you guys. You are taking your time to pay your tithe to the smallest bit but you neglect important issues. I am not saying you shouldn't tithe but you must take the more important issues more seriously than even your tithe"

So how is that now a command to you to tithe?

2. There is no record that the disciples paid tithe during and after Jesus left them. None whatsoever. First of all, most of his disciples were not even qualified to pay tithes. In Jewish tradition and under the law of Moses, only farmers and animal rearers paid tithes. Others, like carpenters, masons, etc, did not pay tithes

3. The Jews paid tithes to the levites and the Levite's paid tithes to the priests. When Jesus died, God ended the levitical priesthood so automatically, tithing stools because there is no levite to pay the tithe to. That is why the disciples did not pay tithes. The Jews obviously continued to pay tithes because they didn't believe in Jesus. But after Jerusalem was destroyed in AD 70 and till today, the Jews no longer pay tithes as there is no priesthood

God bless you. People today don't study the bible. Same people calling a Man Reverend when the bible says Only God is to be revered. Same people today giving titles like Senior Pastor, General Overseer, When the New Testament teaches that the word Pastor, Overseer, Presbyter, Bishop all mean the same thing and are uses in the bible interchangeably based on the work.

But People will Make a Bishop higher than A Pastor. Even the bible teaches that Only MEN should be Pastors but today we have female Pastors. General Overseer is not found in the bible. So many wrong doctrines that are not biblical. They teach for Doctrine the commandment of Men.
I choose to obey the new testament writings and not some man of God today who will face God's judgement like me on the day of Judgement.

People should get a bible with concordance, ask who was being Spoken to, who was speaking, the content and how it applies to us today.

People keep saying we are now in the last days because of issues of homosexuality etc.what they do not understand is that we have been in the last days since the Apostles. What the last days means is that God has finally spoken to us through his Son and his Apostles. No other revelation is coming. He won't send any one again to reveal his mind.

But waiting on people to repent and turn to him.

There was NO WAY Christ would have asked them to stop paying tithe as that was still under the dispensation of the law; that would have amounted to another charge of treasonable felony. The new Testament started after the resurrection of Christ.
