You needed something that would lead to a justice league, supes death was it. If WB didn't like it, they won't have gone with it. With the way the movie was, Superman wasn't going to go around gathering an army cause he had no idea of darkseid, wonder woman wasn't going to form the league, and Batman wouldn't cause he would see no reason to. The fear that the world was defenseless against an alien threat led to Bruce going on an hunt. Amanda Waller won't have formed task force x. You are talking like WB didn't know of the story before going into production. In fact, they gave Chris Terrio guidelines on what to do with BVS.
Me wanting Snyder back is so we can have a resolution with how the dceu started and then the next progression coming in right away. So it doesn't look like one idea is discarded and the narrative changing entirely.
You are right, I wouldn't want anyone in that toxic relationship again. I hope MCU eventually hire him or Sony. Atleast, those guys tell you what they want before you start.

lol have watched several justice league cartoon and they didn't have to kill supes to form justice league, simply put a big enuf crises and super heroes will turn up to fight and realise they need to work together, a typical example was WW turning up just to help protect the earth in batman V superman, the crisis is enuf to make all hero converge.

Don't be surprised if you start hearing about "The Flash" reshoots in a fire brigade manner, very soon. This is the most likely scenario.

marvel movies to me feel the same, as much as I enjoy their movies, it all have almost same time, and that what makes me prefer the DCEU, their movies are different and feel different, don't get me wrong MOM sure feels different, but the moment DC settles down, MCU just might be playing second fiddle.

Whether we liked it or not it's a fact general audience wasn't too pleased with Snyder's portrayal of some characters. We can blame WB all we want...yeah they made some dumb moves but Snyder also has a part to play in this.

Having Superman and Batman in a movie never seen before couldn't even fvvking crack $1bn. That's an epic fail imo. Killing Superman in his second outing. The fvvk. The cries about not getting to know the characters more or connect with them, doesn't this same shït apply to Snyder's killing Supes? Robin is dead according to the Lord and we don't even get shît about the character. How do you do spin-off movie with that?
Aquaman came balling, same as a Joker movie without even Batman. All without Snyder. Both outgrossing his movies.
His DC movies has always been controversial.

Some won't reason this way but name call you a "WB fan".

But it will be premium DUMB if WB fully replace both Cavill and Affleck with female characters. That's a no no. They can change from Snyder or pivot from his problematic storylines but replacing these two is a bad idea.

u are on point, u have no idea how excited I am for the flash, the fact that WB announced several other movies after the flash movies is an indication that they seem to have a plan and road map now, and stylishly begining to interconnect their movies, with news coming out that WW will be in flash and Shazam.

Have always said the problem with DC was Snyder's approach to movies, and the moment he is out of the picture, DC is bound to head somewhere better, I don't hate the guy I just dont like his approach to DC movies.

Have always used Aquaman as an example, same character, same actor, two different director with different approach, even during all the DC crises Aquaman made over a billion, a good prove there is audience for DC movies as long as the story is good. The suicide Squad will have made more if not for the same day HBO release cus I really enjoyed it.

Hopefully Black Adam does well and we will get a spin off JSA, for interconnection it is already confirmed some characters in TSS will appear in Black adam.

I just hope the flash movie keeps Cavil, (heard he is actually in it and not an old footage) and they recast Affleck, showing us the new actor at the end of the flash movie.

Bros, flashpoint won't do anything, trust me. You go dey here when the reviews and hate flood in na. There was nothing wrong with what Snyder wanted. WB messed up his vision from the on set. Having him form a dceu when the original plan was a trilogy. Reducing the length of a film that was intended to start the dceu. Everything was just against the man. WB didn't know what they want, and they didn't let the man they hired to do his work. You think flashpoint would reset things while we don't know what happened to Superman or even grew to know Superman and Batman well or even what the world of the dceu is like? What WB are trying to reset won't fly. They'll cancel it after audience review bomb it and they notice a lack of interest if the rumors of casting aside Cavill, Affleck for a female version is true.

let's wait and see, what u seem to understand is, a good movie will definitely catch the audience no matter what the issue with DC is, Aquaman made a billion during justice league/Snyder/WB crises, not everyone cares Abt a connected universe, the average neutral movie goers will see a movies when the word of mouth Abt the movie is good.

I personally didn't like the flash trailer cus the effect was somehow to me, but I guess it's unfinished and unpolished, let's wait for the next trailer then we will know if truely flash is destined for doom.

The director knows he has his name on the line, they understand if they get this wrong it ruins everything else, so make everybody just calm down

As Abduleez1 stated, fans are ready to move on.. Hanging on to Snyder and his dream is futile..The Flash may very well flop or do very well, we can't say until then but if the rumours are true, you should wait till you see it and decide if it's done well instead of making up your mind before actually seeing the movie...

Personally, I didn't like the Snyder movies , the colour palettes, visual narration (Snyder made me tired of slow mo effects), he had good cinematography which is the only thing I liked in his movies , I also didn't like the stories told . Man of steel was ok, BVS shouldn't have existed....
The silver lining in his era wasn't directed by him, It was directed by Patty and voila, everyone loved it.

I like CBM movies and I'm glad Snyder isn't in charge of the DCEU movies creatively anymore, let others have their shine and let better stories be told...

lol, I saw NWH, sure it was fantastic as a movie for spiderman fans of over a decade, aside that I don't see anything really special Abt it from other marvel movies. I enjoyed it no doubt the whole cinemal did, but I won't say it's my fav movie or it was a super movie, I still feel storywise it's not that fantastic. My fav spiderman movie us still spiderman 2.

But none the less, I really enjoyed it though. But if u can just pull out spiderman from other universe by just opening portal, why didn't doctor strange just send them back through the portal.

I swear. That show cancellation still dey pain me till this day. The quality and the CGI was God tier. The practical effects was lit. You could compare it with a big budget theatrical release.


Alas, the budget of the series was beyond them at the time. $80mn. I don't know why HBOMax isn't saying anything about it.

I think the fact that the cancelation was announced even b4 the first ep aired made things worse, alot of ppl didn't bother to even start it at all, if cancelation was announced after the last ep was aired will have been engrossed in it and clamour for more.

One show I still love and want more till date, pain me they cancelled it.
