It seems it's HBOMax that's doing the job of keeping up the hype for DC these days. They just need to work on their production speed like Disney+.

they really do, I think spiderman no way home was announced last year also same with Chang chi if am not mistaken, and it's practically out already, though the batman seems a little fast though same with Shazam and black Adam production wise

Black Adam wasn't announced way before last year. What was announced was Dwayne Johnson playing him. The movie wasn't announced. If it was then there will be a release date. Besides the things that held it from being green light was the Rock's busy schedule.

still speculations bottom line is production haven't started, I feel b4 announcing project they shud have done most of the pre production and when u announce 3,4 months start shooting. IMO

I think WB made a huge mistake not firing amber, now they look one sided, they shud have just let both of them go and replace both with new actors.

I believe that was last year. And covid 19 halted production, but I guess you don't know it's out next year sha. And that green lantern is gearing for production. You have a point though. Warner Bros have done alot of mismanagement to make you think nothing is happening. But hey, we got slates coming at you non stop the minute 2021 ends.

but the guys has a point black adam was first announced way b4 last year, been the longest in production if am not mistaken, the Rock even said so himself, and the green lantern they announced last year and still no production till now, it's way too long and that's a problem with DC they to dey delay. Keeping tye hype up is what sell the game ask marvel.

like I said failure is relative, if I was to go by the buzz for it and how they keep pushing it forward giving the impression it's a fantastic movie and after seeing it, it is a failure to me, I expected more from it and same complain have gotten from other ppl, but by the amount it made to it's budget it's definitely not a failure almost over twice it's budget.

like I said Disney+ was at extra cost, HBO max was at no extra cost. Hence more ppl opted for HBO max

baba failure is relative, did it drive more subscription on HBO Max? On a budget of 200millio black widow made 369million that's with Disney+ that u had to pay extra to watch, where as ppl cud watch TTS completely for free and u are here shouting it failed.

It drove more subscription and was widely accepted hence it's a success looking at where DC is coming from. If it was strictly cinema it will definitely had much than that, alot of ppl either watched it on HBO MAX or watched the pirated copy.

After another failed one, just like TSS, new narrative go burst out again.

TSS wasn't a failure, every single person who have seen the movie loves the movie, and if it was just strictly cinema it definitely will have made more money. The aim for the moment is to make movies that is generally accepted.

The movie will come with time, if there was to be the suicide squad 2 and it's strictly cinema ppl will go watch it including me bcus the last one was loveable. And that's the idea, build trust with ur content. The fact that a black Canary and perhaps a green arrow movie is coming bursting my brain already

So I saw the eternals trailer and i just wonder why am not a marvel fan, jeez it was hot just wonder why DC cancelled their new God movie, shud have been a direct competitor to this.

I really hoping DC gets things right with the flash movie and give us a good interconnected universe.

Aquaman's issue is not restricted to DC fans, I think it's just Depp's fans in general. They feel that since Depp lost his job Amber should too, the fact that makes it more interesting is that they work(ed) for the same company, so some might feel that there is double standard at play.
I'm still all in for Aquaman no matter happens, Jason Momoa deserves it.

U can't blame James Gunn for the tone of TSS, the question is do DC have a plan for their movies? Have DC sat down and create an identity for themselves? The original director for doctor strange multiverse of madness left bcus he didn't like how marvel were compelling him to make the movie. There is no marvel or DC director, of tomorrow James wan directs a marvel movie he will still make the movie in the marvel tone. DC are so desperate to catch up to marvel that they don't seem to have thought things tru properly, they still don't seem to have a vision. Am just hoping the flash movie sets that direction cus if this continues like this they will keep paying catch up.

I can decide not to watch TSS and still watch the next DC movie and it will have no consequences, afterall their movies do not interconnect and this is the main reason every marvel movies will also do well at the BO, cus you know u have to watch every single one to have detailed understanding. Just imagine skipping Loki or WV the watching multiverse of madness when u know they connections btw the 3 movies.
